BIG shout out to North Point Radon! We had to re-do some radon mitigation on the house so we could…read morestart working on framing on the basement and they came in and did an incredible job. The pressure from the pump (or however you say it) went up from 1.1 to 1.25 - so they filled in a bunch of spaces that weren't sealed up properly and cleaned everything up so our contractor can start framing. No big chunks of puffy foam - everything is sealed cleanly and nice and tight now (obvious from the reading on the pressure). Fast, affordable, effective and we're retesting the basement next week after the framing is done. Seriously good people - I would call them if you need any radon stuff (testing, mitigation, etc) taken care of. I know they do southern WY, but guessing they may do other areas near there as well.

My initial contact with them was good, they came and surveyed the damage after a natural disaster flood, and said they would get an estimate to repair the damage to me within a day or so. That was 8 days ago. I left 2 voicemails and at least one message with a person and they have not called me back. The claims adjuster was also unable to get in touch with someone to get an estimate. It may not be that big of a job, but who turns down money???? Completely disgusted with the lack of communication, even after I asked them to just tell me if they don't have time to do it. I would not recommend this company for flood mitigation.

We agreed that the first crew to demo would be out that Friday. Well, half the crew that was to come one was sick, and they'll send someone on Monday. Then, most of the crew was out ill. All this time we have bee trying to get a schedule of work so we can plan accordingly. We have 2 large dogs, one of which needs to be sedated. Finally on Tuesday, they came out to do the demo and it took another 3 days for the trash to be picked up. It took the adjuster to get that done. Friday snowed so we didn't think anyone would be out. This morning they were to be here between 8 and 8:30 am.....I just got a call they are on their way. I do have to say that when I call a few times or send an email something seems to happen. We need a plan of action. Who is doing what when? When will they be in to demo the upstairs bath? Who chooses the new flooring and when? The paint? Questions and answers! I know they probably need some kind of 'okay" from the insurance company, but please.......can't we come to an agreement on what is to be done and a timeline? We don't even have a signed agreement......YET!
