The guest gave the ring to the DJ, Ryan N who chose to not only make no announcement about the 'found' ring, but also not make any attempt to give it to the bride or groom or the parents who were all still present. Needless to say, the ring was never found. None of my multiple phone calls or emails was ever responded to by Spencer, Style Matters, a complete disregard for customer relations. He was especially lively and energetic when announcing the entrance of our wedding party and really helped set the tone for the evening. Once the dancing started, John seemed to have a great feel for the room and knew exactly what songs would keep the dance floor packed and the energy up. He put together a great mix of upbeat dance songs and slower songs, and the music never seemed to lose momentum. One of the things we appreciated most was that it still felt like *our* music and our taste, just put together and managed far better than we ever could have done ourselves. Seeing so many of our guests out on the dance floor throughout the night was probably the best testament to how good a job John did. But, the day of the wedding, the DJ told my husband they were having Wi-Fi issues and couldn't access the playlist. He didn't know why the songs on the playlist weren't downloaded by the DJ before the wedding in case there were Wi-Fi issues. Guests also requested songs multiple times and were told by the DJ that they couldn't be played due to the Wi-Fi issues. Then when I asked why our playlist wasn't played, I was told "You didn't say the playlist was a must play". I wish we were told by the DJ that we needed to say that the entire playlist was "must play" during the planning phase.The DJ also didn't read the room and hype up our guests to get on the dance floor until the last song, so it felt a little dead throughout the wedding. The guests that danced were OK with the playlist, thankfully, but the DJ experience was pretty disappointing overall. If we knew the DJ experience was going to be sub-par, we probably wouldn't have paid our venue's additional audio tie-in fee.
