However there was red mud and dirt tracked all through the hallways. No one cleaned it up. I wouldn't take a shower in the tub and the beds were comfy UNTIL. My daughter saw a bug in the bathroom and took a picture- a bedbug! It was 2am we packed up and left. I went to the front desk showed the picture and gave them the key. No one called to apologize or follow up. So nah. I can't come back. Quarantining all clothing and bags so I don't bring anything in the house!

The service from the manager of the restaurant was very poor. I paid for my food earlier this time, usually I pay after I finish eating and near ready to go. This time he wanted me to pay at first. At the end I asked for a refill, he told me it's usually $2 for refills. He gave it to me this time, but that's ridiculous. It felt like he didn't want to serve me or be there. My concern is the overall poor service with Dutch Inn, the food part not Rosie's. I paid near $20 and can't even get a refill on my soft drink. Plus the manager was acting like he didn't even want to help me, and I need to voice my concerns. My concern is not with Rosie's, but with Dutch Inn car and restaurant area, and poor service with the restaurant manager. I told him it's in the reservation. *the manager, Sam, proceeds to tell me it isn't in the reservation and cancels my reservation and makes me leave the motel at 11:30 pm. He could not have been more of a prick. *while the Wyndham is a dump, the way this guy overreacted was above and beyond. Not sure what this guy should be managing, but it isn't people. *Martinsville is a nice town and I would suggest staying anywhere other than the Wyndham Super 8. I sprayed everything, the sheets, the mattress, the chairs (which were DISGUSTING) and relaxed. The best thing about my room: the window opened so I was able to sleep in the cool of the night :-). The next morning I went down to see what the Super 8 considers a complimentary breakfast and low and behold there was bagels, croissants, cereal and coffee. To my dismay the coffee was empty. I sat with my caffeine addicted leg shaking waiting on my liquid breakfast as the lady at the front desk didn't seem to be very attentive to the quickly draining breakfast bar. The coffee took much longer than she expected and she gave me something brown that resembled but tasted like brown water.....I wasn't expecting Starbucks people but dang, can a sistah get some Maxwell House?
