The service from the manager of the restaurant was very poor. I paid for my food earlier this time, usually I pay after I finish eating and near ready to go. This time he wanted me to pay at first. At the end I asked for a refill, he told me it's usually $2 for refills. He gave it to me this time, but that's ridiculous. It felt like he didn't want to serve me or be there. My concern is the overall poor service with Dutch Inn, the food part not Rosie's. I paid near $20 and can't even get a refill on my soft drink. Plus the manager was acting like he didn't even want to help me, and I need to voice my concerns. My concern is not with Rosie's, but with Dutch Inn car and restaurant area, and poor service with the restaurant manager. I would not recommend staying there and then, as far as them coming, the girl didn't change our towels she didn't refresh our towels at all, and we left them on the floor. That's a sign for housekeeping to give you new towels, and she did not. Also when we arrived, there was a guy that was in the entryway, but he didn't assist us with our luggage at all.

Edward's Signature Dressing was a favorite with my entire group. The Cornish Game Hens were given a citrus glaze & stuffed with orange sections to infuse the citrus flavor throughout the hen. I have been going here for over 5 years and was here for 2 months, but never again. This trip I was charged twice for the same week and the manager refused to contact me back even though I called twice and sent 3 emails and even told her it was ok to just apply to the next week, I never heard back. Water was out for 2 days and no hot water for 4 days. You could get warm water by running the tub for 5 minutes and then turning on the sink for 3 to 4 minutes just to wash your hands. The 2 young girls that clean the rooms want to just give you the towels, sheets and garbage bags to change them yourself. I finally got an older woman who was efficient and very helpful. All I can say is BEWARE and check your credit card account and make sure you are only charged once. My advice is to stay in Rock Hill, VA @ the "Affordable Inn' for the same prices, better trained staff and MUCH nicer Manager, and only 15 minutes away!

I do this often and have never had a problem. *this motel bills itself as "pet friendly". *After getting to town, running my dog & having dinner I return to the hotel (checked in earlier) at 11:30 pm. *the manager comes running out and excoriates me for having a dog. I told him it's in the reservation. *the manager, Sam, proceeds to tell me it isn't in the reservation and cancels my reservation and makes me leave the motel at 11:30 pm. He could not have been more of a prick. *while the Wyndham is a dump, the way this guy overreacted was above and beyond. Not sure what this guy should be managing, but it isn't people. *Martinsville is a nice town and I would suggest staying anywhere other than the Wyndham Super 8.
