Came into Best Nail on a whim. Asked for an acrylic set with coffin shape. I loveee it!!! I ended up getting gel and a cute design as an accent nail also. They did a really great job, both on the shape and the design. I'm very happy with how it came out and would definitely come back. It came out to $59 including the $10tip. The nail tech was very quiet and didn't ask what I really wanted but I'm glad he knew what he was doing! Boss man gave me a free hand lotion as a Christmas gift- great service. It's so hard to find a good nail spot these days. I came here with my sister because she thinks they are great. At first glance, it is small and dainty. I wanted to get a new set of UV Gel nails bc the ones I had were terrible. My nails had grown pretty long underneath and when he removed my tips, he was able to keep my real nails in tact. I panicked a little because my nails were so brittle I wasn't sure if it would come out nicely. I got the UV Gel on top in coffin shape with Gel polish. He did a wonderful job on my nails and I am so happy with the result!! Worth the trip! read more

Terrible service. Waited over 30 mins to get a pedicure. Had to say something to the "owner" and all she did was nod her head and show attitude. By the time i was done and ready for my manicure it was time to close and the man rushed it so badly. Didn't clean my nails, no cuticle oil, no hand massage, no back massage, no lotion, no cuticle cut. Disgusting job. I'm paying YOU to service me. You should at least care about taking care of your customers instead of rushing to go home. If you're in such a rush you should've told me to come another day. I usually look forward to Daphne doing my nails however she was not available and I needed my nails done badly. So I gave one of the other nail techs a chance. Big mistake. A man don't know his name, he's the one WITHOUT the tattoos started to do my nails. My nails are almond shaped with a point tip. One of my nails broke off so he put a new tip on. When he began to shape it I noticed he was really going at the right side of my nail so I told him wait. Then I point out to him how off the shape was compared to the rest. I could tell in his face he noticed he messed up, but he refused to admit it. He said there was nothing wrong with it. I hate hate hate to be that 'the customer is always right person' but if your job is to do a persons nails to their desire....anyways, he started to catch an attitude because he noticed me continuously observing the nail. He then attempts to paint my nails directly after using the drill, no buff, no wash. So I mention to him should I wash my hands and he responds "go". I wash my hands and he paints my nails. When I pay he has the audacity to say "TIP". Just that. I was horrified by the service . When I get my nails done by Daphne I always hear him harassing customers for tip. So if you go here, do not go to him. Again his description is that he had no tattoos and has slight acne scarring. Sorry I would have described him better if I could. I came in to get a pedicure for my birthday. They were busy but soneone was available. Within seconds of sitting down. He asked did I want them cut. I said not too short and he cut one of my toe nails to the quick and at an angle. I immediately asked for a manager. She accused me of being to particular and said we dont know how to do your nails here. I said o cant leave like this and she stated we cant do your nails. I had to leave with no polish and one missing toe nail. I found another salon and they wanted to know what happened to my nail. No one should go to this unprofessional salon, ever. read more

I went to Best nails this week with my son, I found out that there are new owners but decided to try them. Yes, for those that know Daphne I don't believe she is there anymore, I saw maybe one face I recognized. First the decor is not what it used to be and that is not a compliment. The pedicures were no problem and the massage was great. But i was not pleased with the manicure it was gel, the color was chipping after two days and I had a cracked nail. I went back in hopes to get the color changed and the nail mended, I was not looking to spend money. Because on top of the 125.00 spent I gave everyone a ten dollar tip, I'm not cheap. But after two day the polished should not have chipped and they could have just fixed the nail. First the young lady in the chair next to the register was rude, she is the one who did my nails in the first place, you could see the chips in the polish. Yet she chose to argue with me about how she put on two coats of polish, once we got through that she had me sit and wait exactly 30 minutes because I was counting. I stayed just long enough to see how long they would have me sitting there, I will not spend my money where it and I are not respected. If you want to pay decent prices and feel good about spending your money go to Aroma Nail and Spa. I've ben going to best nails for about 10 years since moving to this area. First owners that I knew of where two older women and one Spanish girl that did nails and was extremely detailed oriented. Second owners were this middle aged couple who sold customer service! You walked in and they immediately offered you tea, gave thorough massages, performed manicures and pedicures like super nail techs. Even made honest recommendations if for example acrylic was not the best option for your nails. Then came Daphne! She was amazing, she could do any style nails you wanted. If you asked her for a specific style and she was not sure how to do it she would practice till perfection was mastered and get the job done. They didn't have SNS at one point and she made sure she started offering SNS as a technique and personally called me to tell me. Full blown pedicure and manicure was 20 Monday through Wednesday. This included a foot, hand and back massage, hot stones, scrub, paraffin dip and nail polish. Now we have new owners. This young girl with a dry personality and a bunch of men who seemed to be afraid of her. They nickel and dime. You walk in for a regular manicure and pedicure advertised as 20 dollars every day and this does not include a massage or scrub they do the bare minimum. If you want a scrub they try to up-sell one of their pedicure packages and add extras like insist on callous remover, or lavender pedicure for relaxation. They never paint my nails correctly. Last time I went I spent almost two hours getting a pedicure, had to cancel my manicure because they were closing and didn't want it to be rushed. If you reject their up-sells they become annoyed and give you the cold shoulder. They collect payments before they finish your pedicure as if someone is going to run out of them. Oh if you want another gel manicure to replace the one they originally did for you, they charge an extra 5 dollars. They also charge an extra 5 dollars for coffin shaped nails, pointy nails any nails that are not squared or round. If you want a foot scrub they charge an extra 5 dollars. If you want a massage with the Pedicure they upgrade you to their 33 dollar pedicure and then add more to that. By the time you walk out of their your total ends up being about 100 dollars for a half ass massage, pedicure and manicure you could've done at home. Consider another place before going here. read more
