Look no further, this is the best day care within San Gabriel Valley!…read more My wife and I visited many different daycares and before we found awesome Kids Klub, my family had a terrible experience at a different daycare in Pasadena, which really traumatized our daycare experience and didn't know if we could trust another daycare. We were afraid we couldn't overcome such a terrible experience that gave us nightmares or we couldn't even sleep just thinking about our child's entire experience and how can a daycare run with advertised as "high quality/STEM," but no integrity and moral values....We absolutely could not continue our child's daycare program there anymore. We continued our search again for another daycare and big thank you to San Gabriel Kids Klub and staff for being there for us since the very first day we took our tour. What we saw was night and day, compared to the previous daycare and were stunned that we didn't find this hidden gem daycare earlier. My wife and I kept saying "what a blessing in disguise" that we found this place after such a horrible experience at the other daycare. What we saw on our tour: - front desk greeted every single family/childs name. - children are all so happy - the teachers knew all students names, even if the student was not in their classroom. - all students were engaged in activities (not a single kid by themselves or a group of 2-3 by theirselves). - the teacher/student ratio was fair. - All the teachers engaged and were attentive to all the students. - My wife loves the scheduled program and Curriculum based for developmental skills for each age. - Staff is extremely caring - Diverse and Cultured - Private kitchen for entire school/cafeteria - Children's Restroom are separate from classroom - All students knows each other from all ages - Tons of different activities for kids - Easy to talk to and welcomes you with open arms - Respectful where rules around - campus is strict but fair to understand We love how all teachers work together and care for each students personality. They all take their time with the students and consider the parents, along with understanding how important it is to teach culture to all ethnicities. This showed me how special it is to be a part of Kids Klub. Also, they have 3 locations and have night and weekend programs as well. We love the flexibility Kids Klub offers, from different schedule of programs, to night/weekend care, to seeing Summer CAMP, to picking up older students for after-school care program. It's been over a year here at Kids Klub and our 3year old has shown so much confidence, knowledge, skills, discipline, speech (talks so much ), learned how to control emotions, the list goes on. This is an overdue, well deserved review for Kids Klub because we usually don't write reviews. Thank you to ALL Kids Klub for doing what you all do best for all the children, families and being here for the community.

We are so sad to be moving away from the area, and we hope to be lucky enough find a camp and aftercare that is just as wonderful. I cannot say enough about the the staff as well as the other families who attend- it feels like a little family. My two children love going and easily scamper off at drop-off and don't want to leave when it's pickup. The staff is loving, patient, kind, and have great communication, and the activities are engaging and fun. The hours of the camp are dream come true for working parents (7:30- 6 pm), and even when I get off a little early, my kids beg to stay til close to closing. The field trips are also great. The freshly prepared food is also kid-friendly but nutritious, and my kids enjoyed the breakfast, lunch, and snacks included with the camp, and it made it easier getting out of the door in the morning. We are grateful that our children were cared for with such loving care, and as they like to say at the camp, "Kids Klub rocks!" Thank you for everything Kids Klub SGR!

The teachers are responsible, helpful, and supportive. The kids not only finish their homework on time, but they also receive extra practice packets to strengthen their learning. The food provided is nutritious and rotates biweekly, always including protein and fruit. You can tell they care for the children as if they were their own. Mr. Calvin is especially wonderful, he's very responsible, kind, and always willing to help. He communicates clearly and genuinely puts his heart into everything he does. We like that Mr. Calvin (the school director) pays close attention to children's behavior and the way they talk. I have observed the children who attend the school, and they are all "good kids". Mr. Calvin also encourages healthy snacks which is very important to us. We joined Academicise for a few years now, and there's not a day when homework is not completed. Even when my kid had to miss the program for 1-2 days due to sickness, the homework is always completed by the due date. It is a huge relief for working parents. They also provide extra packages which are slightly higher than the current grade level. Vans with seatbelts are also available for pick up. We are very happy with Academicise. My kid enjoys it a lot too.

YPV has daycare for 2 years old all the way up to Kindergarten themselves. It was very hard for us to have family take care of our kids when we have to work and get home late, they are able to have their teachers there until 6pm latest pick up. When our first oldest went to YPV he was very shy and and scared of people (he was born covid, and we had no one around except ourselves). We had started his potty training but he was not doing well. When we enrolled him to YPV, he cried every day for 3 month's straight while being dropped off to school (it's normal for kids to cry for weeks, but it was understandable for our kid). Note: when your child is enrolled and needs potty training, the tuition is a little more expensive and will decrease back to normal tuition once they are able to use the potty themselves with assistance. They also provide you all the information you need to continue the potty training at home. Gradually he starting babbling much more and being more happy around people with less social anxiety during his first year at YPV. He was able to be potty trained by 3, and would understand using the potty #1 and #2 when he needed it. YPV kept my kiddo engaged and learning the whole time the 3 years he was there. There was never a day I told him, "it was time for school" and he would say he didn't want to go. The teachers there are good and care about the students. They provide lunch and snacks. Shout out to the parents that create goodie bags for their kids bdays, it made my kid really happy and we reciprocated also. They learn how to behave around other kids without being rowdy and we get progress reports of how well they are doing in class academically every quarter. By TK, the kids are already writing some words and can read some basics. I was just at a parent teacher conference at my kid's Public elementary school just yesterday where they were going over their curriculum for kindergarten. Counting up to 100, phonetic reading words, basic sight words, starting addition and subtraction, cutting skills, dexterity drawing coloring.... my kid can do them all already thanks to YPV! But I also have to credit my wife for going over homework with our kid (at TK , YPV teachers start giving some homework to prepare our kid for kindergarten) And you also need to read books with them at home and practice sight words. With what you do at home, and how the teachers help them exceed at school, I'm constantly surprised how much my kid knows. On another note, Summer School at YPV has way more activities and field trips. They have contractors for train rides, science shows, magic shows, puppet shows, petting zoo's, kids train rides, water play with spraying. Last year, if enough kids signed up for tickets, were able to rent out a movie theater to watch Minions. Parents and kids had a chance to experience a movie without the chance of our kids being noisy being a nuisance cause other movie goers and was a good chance to teach them how to behave in this setting. My kid was also really happy to ride an on actual full sized School Bus. There's also a snow day during winter where they bring in a snow machine to make snow in the playground area and the kids can play there for the next day or 2 till it melts. With a small snow slide too. My other kid is almost two and we've already gotten a spot at YPV for her, we're lucky to have such a great place near by.

This review is way overdue. Life got ahead of me. I'm sorry, Emil and Lisa!…read more I had my daughter's quinceañera at El Palacio Hall on March 14, 2026. We hosted 175 guests. When we first started looking for venues, we had a few specific things in mind, and flexibility was one of them. On our first visit in March 2025, we met with Emil, the venue owner. He was very welcoming, friendly, family-oriented, and easy to work with. He answered all of my questions and was very transparent from day one. He never pressured us or made us feel obligated to choose everything the hall offered. All selections and packages were based on our budget and what we wanted to spend. When I walked into the venue, I was immediately attracted to the décor, high ceilings, and bar area. Everything was very clean, the white draping made the space feel even more open, and the floor plan was perfect. I knew I wouldn't have to do much. I did hire an outside vendor to help with the themed décor, but almost everything else, including the plating, was purchased through the venue. As the quinceañera date approached, we met the venue manager, Lisa. She became our go-to person for anything we needed. She was very attentive and made sure the event was a success and that everything looked beautiful on the big day. The day of the event, everything went very smoothly. We had a venue host who worked hand in hand with Lisa. I forgot his name, but he was very kind and helpful. I had many family members say, "This place is beautiful! I never knew this was here." No one had any issues with parking. The restrooms were well maintained throughout the event, the food was ready on time (we had the fajitas, beans, and rice which was very tasty), the serving staff was very efficient, and the air conditioning was blasting and felt great (the temperature that day was around 78-80 degrees). Every area of the venue was operating seamlessly. All-in-all I am very grateful to all the staff at El Palacio Hall because they helped make my daughter's quinceañera a success. I would definitely have another event there again.
