My son loves it here so much at Connected Academy! Mr. Kendrick and all the teachers are absolutely amazing. They are responsible, professional, and instrumental in the kids' learning progress. They have regular after school programs, summer/winter camps and all the holiday camps with breakfast, lunch and snack provided, which is a huge help for busy parents. They pick up students from Arcadia, Temple City, El Monte, Alhambra, Rosemead, San Gabriel, etc. So the teachers have great resources of what their learning objectives are. The school is at great location and has very big parking lot, which I personally prefer a lot. And they have very clean and well-organized classrooms. Connected Academy is such a wonderful place. The teachers and support staff are all so nice. Ms Cindy in room 9 is my favorite. She really takes her time with every child and tailors every students needs. I highly recommend her. They have an wonderful curriculum. Their mission is teaching children life skills. They teach financial literacy and public speaking. They understand student needs and provide supports if anyone has behaviors. The accommodations and 1:1 support really helps the kids thrive. They have a good after-school / full day summer. They have summer field trips and provide lunch/snacks to the kids. They have multiple knowledge from different districts including: Temple City, El Monte, Mt. View, Rosemead, San Gabriel,  Arcadia, and El Monte. Their facility is clean and safe. I don't worry about my children when they are there with such a great group of people. read more

My older sister always tells me that one of the best things I told her to do was bringing her daughter to Connected Academy. My older sister has always been very picky and struggled to find an after school for her daughter. She wanted to find a place that truly cared for their students and when I saw Connected Academy, I knew this was it. Whenever I would pick up my niece from here, she never wants to leave. From watching the interactions between Director Cheng, the teachers and the children here, I could tell that this was a very supportive environment that fosters academic success, encourages their children to find their passions, and most importantly, their happiness. There is a really good balance between learning and having fun, which is so rare to see nowadays. I would like to start off by saying Thank You to all of the Connected Academy Staff and Mr Kendrick! I was referred to Connected by a friend and am extremely pleased! My niece is one of those "ipad babies" and had severe difficulty focusing and understanding simple math problems in 2nd grade. I tried to tutor her on my own but was irritably frustrated with her not understanding simple division. I felt like there was almost no hope for me to help her. She needed someone with an educational background and lots and lots of patience. It is possible that when covid happened her progression was even more delayed and decided that she needed more. She went from struggling in every category to getting all 3's in her latest 6th grade report. Her grades continue to progress every year and most importantly she loves attending school and is thriving in her curriculum. She's not at 4's or outstanding yet, but she has surely gone a long way. Kendrick and his team has gone above and beyond tackling her weaknesses. I am forever grateful to the teachers like Ms Cindy for their hard work and devotion to the success of their students. One of the best after school and summer programs around. Both my sons love to go to school here during the summer. Not only do they learn but they enjoy their time there. Mr Kendrick is a wonderful director that truely love what he does. Ms Cindy always prepare my boys for the next grade and make sure they understand the assignment. It's very rare to find a place that the kids enjoy with great academic. They have young energetic teachers that can relate with the students. One of my speech students goes here for extra tutoring services afterschool and on weekends. The staff is super caring and has great communication with parents, not only about academics but any other factors that may affect the students' overall development and well-being. I've been able to collaborate with teachers so whatever speech skills we are working on can be practiced/generalized across settings. Really supportive learning environment! read more

My daughter has been going to the after school program and summer camps for about 3 years. They also have pick up service, which I really appreciate since I do work on the weekdays. She loves Director Cheng and her teachers here. They are all very engaging, knowledgeable, and passionate about their student's personal and professional growth. And I love that the school teaches her effective communication, practical life skills, and financial literacy (to name a few). The program is really well balanced. They not only focus on academic success, but also prioritize nurturing well rounded individuals by teaching essential life skills. I'm a busy working mom. I sent my daughter there after school. They really help her with her homework and extra curriculum. She has been a straight A student. I'm so proud of her. They have a very caring and supportive teacher. They also have summer classes. Theirs programs make the kids learning more stuff other than just books. Even though Connected Academy is much farther from my home compared to many other after-school centers nearby, it has become a very special place for my daughter. The environment is comfortable and welcoming, with many fun and engaging activities, while still maintaining a great balance that has helped her improve in reading and writing. My daughter has been coming to Connected Academy since last year in March 2024. As a mom of 3, I was struggling to get my daughter motivated to complete her homework. Thankfully, we came across Connected Academy to help my daughter with homework. Ms Winmen and Ms Kristy was on top of my daughter's homework, projects, SeeSaw, English & Math computer work. It was amazing to see how much my daughter improved. Fast forward, my daughter is in 1st grade and thriving in school. Now my daughter is in Ms Cindy's class. She is organized and well structured to my liking. My money is definitely worth spending. I've always recommended this place to kids who are struggling with their homework. Connected Academy is an amazing afterschool education center that also offers other types of programs. What I like most about it is that they seem to focus a lot of life skills and things they don't teach in regular school. My 5-year-old is always excited to go and I have really seen progress in his academic and social skills. The staff is friendly and accommodating and always available. Highly recommended. read more

The learning environment at this place is wonderful, and the staff are amazing with kids. They offer a great variety of courses and extracurricular activities that cover everything from academics to life skills. I've noticed that my kid has really grown in confidence.
