The doctor that I met with had gray hair and blue eyes. He was not understanding and very condescending. I described that I smoke weed to help with my insomnia and anxiety. He said that THC doesn't help with sleep and that he wouldn't give a rec to his own daughter so he wouldn't give it to me. He offered to prescribe a recommendation for 1 month for the full price of the coupon I brought in ($30). He seemed to not believe in the positive qualities that cannabis has. He made me feel uncomfortable and I strongly recommend finding another doctor and clinic. Why would he even work there? No thank you sir. read more

Went here to get my first recommendation ! Everything went alright, except that my girlfriend who doesnt have any medical problems got a year recommendation, while I , the one with actual medical problems got a 6 month recommendation ! Doctor was nice and everything was fine so I said whatever and went about my day. After two-three months, the ink on my rec faded out almost completely and I needed to get a reprint or I wouldnt be allowed in dispensaries ! Dr. Elliot Munjack is a great doctor. Had to pay for one reprint though and have it reprinted another time (free the second time though). 3rd year ive been here and its still the best place to get your renewal. They are fast, accommodating and friendly. Im definitely going to be back next year and i recommend you to give a shot. WARNING: RIP OFF: I called and was quoted $40 for a renewal. When I arrived, I was told the $40 was for office visit only. The total cost for a renewal was $80. I tried to explain to Twiddle D and Twiddle Dumb at the front desk and all I got was attitude. I asked for my information back and went to 420 Doctors in Studio City. I was charged $40 as a new patient and renewals are $30. The scam with best price evaluations, is they want you to come in and then they let you know the REAL price. I've gotten my REC here already three years in a row, the staff is nice and friendly they help you out with discounts, plus they have flyers at shops that even give you a bigger discount, the parking kind of sucks, but they have the best prices and the wait isn't as long as other places depending on what day and time you come. This place SUCKS beyond belief. So I called and ask how much is your new patient fee and the women indicates $55.00, keep in mind there website says $60.00. I arrive to the clinic, stepped up to the window and was greeted by 2 women with absolutely no personality. Very mean with very cold shoulders, if you hate your job go find another one. I filled out all the necessary paperwork and then was seen by the doctor, must say he was the only nice thing out of the whole experience. Once I was done with the doctor he handed me a paper with a price of $70.00. I asked him who I speak with regarding this, he said the girls up front. I get to the front and ask why doesn't this state $70 when your website states $60 and on top of that I called and spoke with a women and she stated $55.00 for new customer, I told her there is a coupon online for $10.00 off but it's not pintable she said just print the page and bring it in. She then told me that I called the call center and they give prices and can honor the $55.00 but not with the coupon. It's an online special, MMMM hello how stupid one can be, I told her online special when you have to come in a see a doctor what you think people are stupid. She said that it was $70 for the paper and the card and she couldn't honor the coupon, so I told her maybe the people who answer your phones should give accurate information. She said call the call center right now and I bet they won't tell you that again. I told her whatever charge me for the cheapest way without that stupid card you can't use and tell your people that answer the phone to give better information. Then out of nowhere this women appears she says you spoke with me? This is there call center one women completely rude when she gets caught in a lie behind a closed door. I said well if you're the one answering the phone then yes I spoke with you. She said I never told you anything like that I was like yes you did. She then started talking shit that I'm a liar and that I'm a grown women and I should ask questions. Well lets back up, I did ask questions dumb a&* and when you're a%^ was caught in a lie you start talking shit tell the girls in the front to deny me. You're real professional talking to people like that. KEEP IN MIND WITHOUT US CLIENTS YOU WOULDN'T HAVE A PAYCHECK. Hmm. Being familiar with this clinic for a couple years, I can say that they really don't change much. Prices are low for renewals but I don't deny claims of being charged more than quoted. I called ahead to make an appointment at noon and was quoted $60 for renewal. My old paperwork said $35 next renewal but I just figured it didn't matter anyways after seeing the more recent reviews. This is a small office in a shady part of town, with shady operations but the doctor is legit. It gathered them an extra star at least because between waiting an hour for my appointment, watching them argue with 2 patients and hearing the other complaints on yelp, I'm quite sure this is a one star place. The ladies on staff were nice to me, but admittedly from the reviews and two arguments I saw, I know they have claws and choose to them sometimes.i wouldn't bother with an appointment next time. I'd like to say I had a good visit to this place, but that simply wasn't the case yesterday. I've been a MMJ Patient since early 2011, and I've renewed my rec here before back in 2012, that's why I was so shocked to see how much of a business this place has become. I understand they're there to make money, but when people like myself are in true need of their doctor's recommendation, they shouldn't capitalize off of us. I had to pay $70 whereas before I remember going in here and paying $35 to renew and I believe it was $45 for new patients...where does $70 come from? They said since I'm outside of the "30 day grace period" (also a new stipulation they never had before) I'll be treated like a FIRST TIME PATIENT! I've been with these guys for literally years! Also, at least back then, you actually SAW a doctor in person and didn't skype him from (allegedly) another office 2 cities away. In all, I understand it's a business that needs run, but I wish they treated each patient on an individual basis as opposed to just trying to take as much money from,us as posssible...when prices have literally DOUBLED I have to wonder....glad to have my recommendation though and I will be returning next year for the much cheaper renewal. read more

Very disappointed!! Have gotten my recommendation here for past 6-7 years . Unfortunately the customer service has gone from mediocre to awful, lady who answered the phone sounded rude and annoyed the moment she answered the phone. Called to ask a question regarding renewal offer and had a crappy response when asked her name she proceeded to say her name was good bye. In case she lacks common sense patients call ahead of time to verify offers to avoid confusion and wasting anybody's time.. Some people are in pain and want to get out out of there in a timely manner without inconvenience to either party. read more
