Since my company has moved us to working from home, indefinitely. It gives no reason to drive all the way here just to pick up my mails. It's getting harder to say goodbye. Although, PO Box Etc is my preferred address for all online orders. My recent experiences with unannounced closing (not on Islamic and American holidays) have gotten me looking for a mailbox service near my house in Chinatown. However, I had terrible experiences at My Shipping Office, a mailbox service in Chinatown. I made the appointment online which was very easy. Received a text message with very clear instructions afterwards. She was able to take care of everything quickly, answer all of my questions, and get the fingerprinting done all within about 20 minutes. Super impressive! Her office is located in the 810 office building and she is on the first floor (turn right when you enter from HWY 6, make another right, and it's door 105 on the left). The parking lot is shared with the building tenants and there is plenty of open spots.

Run a mile from this company. They simply do not care about customer loyalty or service any more…read more They only care about customer $$$, unless you are a big gun in town. When I contacted Stargel to schedule the Periodic Maintenance on our 1-year old allegedly refurbished (by them) copier/scanner/printer, they quoted nearly $4,000, which is only $1500-$1800 less than the actual purchase price of 1 year ago. Really? Isn't that like the Dodge dealership saying the periodic maintenance on my truck is 75% of the purchase price, because the engine and transmission have to be replaced after a year? Makes no sense. We had been assured prior to purchase that all moving parts had been replaced and that the machine would work like new. It begs the questions: what kind of shoddy parts did they use in the rebuild that all of the parts have to be replaced after only a year of use by a small company? Or was the rebuild not done as advertised? When we upgraded/updated to this copier/scanner/printer last year, we gathered quotes and ultimately narrowed them all down to two. Our final decision hinged on what we thought was a strong, established relationship of 10+ years with Stargel. To our regret, we chose their quote above their competitor's. During this experience, we also learned one of their best techs has left Stargel after many years with the company. Could this be another warning sign of a disintegrating corporate attitude both within the company and without? In short, it seems that if you do not want or are not able to pay their exorbitant monthly maintenance contract, their response is simple - pay for the machine all over again less a small percentage when maintenance is all that is actually needed, not a full rebuild. Apparently, in their minds, customer loyalty goes one way - from the customer to them, and there better be plenty of customer $$$ to go with it.
