After a pick up, they throw your garbage can most of the time trash bins blocking roads, this is especially common when you have a heavy can, and also there is always debris in the road such as piles of dirt, paper or plastic. I understand if something flys in the wind, but this is not the case. 9 times out of 10 I need to clean up behind them. The HOA should get a new contract. If we are paying for a service the job should be completed to standard and not just fast for them. read more

This is a new company for our neighborhood. We waited all day for the trash to be picked up. Mind you we had no pick up due to the holiday last week. I called at 3:19 and was told by Kristen it was a new route and she would call the supervisor. at 4:45 they came by and didn't pick up the dang trash can that they delivered specifically for their company. Tried calling and of course it's 5:00 on the dot and they are closed. Hope this isn't going to be an ongoing issue! They really need to get it together. read more

I had extra bags and boxes set out today for pickup, above the max limit. The Best Trash crew loaded the extra bags in a matter of seconds keeping me from having to pick them up and set them out again. The don't have to do that so I sincerely appreciate it very much! read more

I would give zero stars if that were possible. This company services my neighborhood. Last week, every other home did not get trash pickup. I and many of my neighbors were on auto pay. After the first missed pickup, I received a past due letter in the mail. I immediately made an online payment and called Best Trash to ask why my auto pay did not work. They said my credit card had expired, which was not the case. I gave them my card info over the phone again to restart auto pay. My trash was not picked up on the second trash day of last week. I called again to verify that they had received my online payment. They asked me to send them the receipt showing I had paid to reinstate service. I did so and my trash was still not picked up the following week. I have now emailed the CEO and the property management firm that works with our HOA. Trash is accumulating in our neighborhood. read more

Consider my one star a zero rating. I've been following guidelines on tree branches for 3 weeks and they still haven't picked them up. I called and emailed customer service to no avail. I no longer know what to do. My HOA hired these people but they're no good. Stay away from them. read more

Will not accept yard wastes in economical reusable 32 gal bins. Require it in single use plastic bags or as bundled branches. This is wasteful and makes handling of thorny palm leaves difficult. Pick up limits barely adequate for residents who do their own yard work and DIY projects. It is often necessary to save trash for the next pickup day. After collecting the trash, they leave their branded bins in the street which blocks on street parking and impairs traffic flow. read more

The worst trash company, we just moved into a new community and scheduled for them to pick up our trash and leave our bins on the driveway on Friday. The rep we talked to said they will pick up our trash and deliver our bins to us on Wednesday, our bins and trash never arrive and our trash was not collected. We call and ask why and apparently we were never added to the list. No apologies when I asked to submit a complaint on the rep, only a manager could look into it. The rep I spoke with had an attitude and said it's not their fault we weren't on the system.... Absolutely ridiculous if we asked to be put on the schedule and the rep didn't do it how is it not the reps fault? read more

They hit the planter box on my mailbox and destroyed it. I sent them a video and pics showing them my planter box that was destroyed. Because the sun was partially blocking the video they refused to do anything about it. But it was obvious they hit it. There are marks on my mailbox. No other videos from my camera that day that showed that anyone else cam close to it. PlusI have a video from 30 mins prior that shows my planter is not damaged. read more

To provide a review, I must select a rating, in no circumstances should they get a star rating. BEST TRASH is a residential trash service & picks up on Tuesdays and Fridays. The invoice is processed for July 1, 2024, to September 30, 2024. Payments are due by July 1, 2024. I paid the invoice on time every on the 3rd once the invoice was emailed. I emailed the business on 9/3 by this time they had missed the 8/30 & 9/2 trash pick-up. I also cc my HOA because we would receive a violation notice. After all, the trash can is in public view on non-trash days. I wanted to make them aware of the situation. Per the office of the HOA, emailed back stating "Per Best Trash, it seems like your trash can is too close to the neighboring property, causing some confusion amongst the crew. After reviewing the dashcam footage, they have determined that relocation of the trash can should resolve this issue in the future." I responded with pictures showing my trash can in the same spot as it has been for 15 years and requested a revised invoice for the missed trash pick-up on 8/30 & 9/2. Best Trash responded on 9/18 "While we do understand your frustration, we do not provide a credit unless you took your trash elsewhere for disposal. If you still had the trash outside for collection for the next service day and it was all collected. While we do understand the inconvenience, there is no credit or adjustment to your account that can be made. Regards, AP/AR Manager." I am beyond furious because Best Trash did not notify me of their issue until I reached out. Where is the integrity? Shouldn't a business communicate with paid customers noting the issue not abruptly disregard the entire service? I disputed $7.52 and sadly the company rather lose a paying customer than integrity. I am a paying customer and the business should make an effort to resolve the dispute not completely blow it off when I called numerous times, left 5 voicemails, and sent emails. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS AND RATING OF F ON THE Better Business Bureau. read more

Very disappointing that we "have" to use them (HOA chose since other was worse). Pay for a service that is hit and miss at best. I have called them 8/12 months due to missed pickups. I even had to chase down a truck after yelling at them in Spanish to come back and pick up since they ignored me after looking me dead in the eye knowing they understood. Can not be directed to someone in charge to express concerns as they are always in meetings (call BS here). Every time I contact them I don't get a call back or even acknowledgement of my concerns. Always some pitiful excuse instead of owning their issues. And if it wasn't bad enough seems like it is full trash when they miss. Do not call back when leave message. On hold for 20+ minutes to only be told we will forward via email to dispatch/management and they will make sure it gets picked up next pick up day (we will see). Unacceptable when I need relief on the day they contracted to pick up. Highwaymen because they know you have no recourse. If I did the same to my clients I would be out of business. Enough, please honor your obligations. read more

I am not even a customer yet & the service I have received from customer service has been awful. My family & I moved into our house on April 28th, I spent well over a week trying to get ahold of someone at Best Trash to start services with no answer or call backs. I ended up stopping the truck to ask how to get a little red recycle bin & he stated I have to pay for services. No biggie, I asked how to get ahold of someone & he gave me a yellow tag. I called the number & guess what no answer. Week 3 comes around with no trash pickup & I finally get someone to reach out to me. They tell me there is a past due balance, I was able to get that paid from our property manager. I go to pay the $78 to begin services & they tell me I have to pay an additional $51 for the 3 weeks I was living there. I said, "I did not receive trash service for those 3 weeks, my father came and got our trash". She said in order to not pay the $51 I would have to provide a receipt from a company where my trash was disposed of. One, way to make me feel like I'm not trustworthy, two, the company must know who does & does not pay due to my trash not being picked up. My parents own their own company & run it out of their home, so I had my mom write me up a receipt & I emailed that to the customer service team and guess what...they told me no, it had to be from a landfill. I explained that I would not pay for a service that I did not receive & since I started to defend myself and my money they will no longer respond to emails. This has been the WORST experience and since all of this I have heard NOTHING but negative reviews since I have explained my situation to my HOA and community page. Is it not illegal to demand money for a service you didn't receive?! THIS IS A SCAM. read more

Ever since these people took over , it been a disaster. They don't pick up the phone and ask customers email. They'll get to it eventually. I've been trying to pay my bill for a week and in the meantime they not picking up my trash. A cycle that could be prevented if they could get their crap together. Ask them for a discount given all these issues....good luck with that. read more
