With the limited time, Ms Sharon has efficiently and effectively managed a curriculum that invoked a student's sense of wonder and motivation. Mr. Thien is an excellent AP calculus and AP physics tutor, and Mr. Tu is amazing at Algebra and Geometry. My daughter loves Ms. Bri for her friendliness and ability to make Chemistry fun to learn. The owners, Ms. Jeani and Mr. Danny, are very professional, accommodating, responsive, and super helpful . They always try their best to help find a tutor that best fits a student's needs. That's why we started out with just one kid doing tutoring but ended up enrolling all 3 after seeing the amazing results. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality tutoring center.

But though it is probably best known for its Oxford Prep program, its other tutoring services do not lack anything. After being enrolled in Oxford Prep and subsequently being accepted into Oxford Academy, I came back to Pace a few times in high school for help in various subjects such as calculus and English. My math teachers did not simply assist me with my homework but guided me in learning chapters ahead. This helped me to be prepared in advance for quizzes and tests and develop study habits. Whenever I wrote an essay for English class, Tim was always willing to look over multiple drafts of it to see where I could improve it. He also made sure I understood the books I was reading on a deeper level by helping me analyze the literary texts to see the overarching themes. One thing that stands out to me about Pace in comparison to other afterschools/tutoring centers is its atmosphere. I got to know most of the teachers on a name-by-name basis for they all are very friendly. The principal is not only very nice but also very professional and experienced as she has led the academy for over 15 years. Also, because many students at Pace see its benefits and so attend for multiple years, you see many familiar faces, overall adding to the homely vibe. Pace is a place I definitely recommend; it was a place where I built up academic knowledge and friendship, a place I don't regret attending.

My kids had attended here since Pre K and now we have two kids who have thrived from here. They…read moredid both subjects twice a week my older one has accomplished level G before completely 6th grade and also received two trophies and a plaque! Mindy and Micheal are exceptional people and I know right now my kids won't value it, but when they are in their later years they will value what they have learned and what they enriched their studies with. I will miss them.

Awesome!!! Just had a parent/teacher conference with my kiddo's kinder teacher and he's at the top…read moreof his class, especially with reading, writing and math. And I attribute that to the extra time he spends at Kumon. And it's only been a couple of months!! His penmanship is getting better and more legible. He answers math questions quicker, he's able to blend word and write multiple sentences about a singular topic. He's reading words that I didn't even know he knew. He enjoys the kumon workbooks for the most part and is excited to do them (but it could be because it's part of his "chore" list). He enjoys the challenge of being able to finish the booklets "faster" each time. At first when we began, he was doing both math and reading/writing with 10-page booklets. But honestly, it was a lot for my lil kinder guy especially after a long day of school and activities. After speaking with Mr. Michael, he suggested cutting the workload to either just one subject or fewer number of pages. I chose the latter to ensure that both topics were covered still and I've seen major improvements on willingness to complete the books, excitement to do the work and satisfaction of doing a job well done. The little rewards they have in the center also are a cute incentive. The kids are given kumon dollars to earn towards little prizes. It's adorable to see the kids count their money and decide if they want to spend now or save for a bigger item. Great way to teach a child about the value of a dollar, delayed vs instant gratification, and smart spend habits. I've seen a mix of kids who go "shopping" with the few kumon dollars they've earned and get small items and I've seen many save up for the bigger prizes. Ms. Mindy is incredibly sweet but stern at the same time. No push-over there and she can turn whining of "I don't knows" into smiles of "I know it!!!" almost magically! (I gotta learn that trick!!!) The center is open Mondays and Thursdays starting at 230pm. Depending on workload, kids finish up their in-class work in average of 45minutes. They are also assigned homework to complete when at home. Some parents like to sit there and wait in the small front entrance or in their cars, but Starbucks, albertsons, dollar tree, Ross, marshalls, Home Depot and a bunch of other stores are nearby for a quick shopping trip. So convenient. I never understood why anyone would want to sit in their car for 45 minutes. If my son gets done early, he calls me on the center's phone and Mr. Michael never lets anyone out unless he sees parent. It's amazing that he can he remember all the kids and all the parents...by first and last name!! I think one of the best advice I got so far from Mr. Michael and Ms. Mindy was if my kiddo doesn't finish the work at home, it IS okay. Pushing him too hard will just discourage him and he will not enjoy kumon. They can always move the work to the next day. The important thing is that my kiddo goes at his own pace which will allow him to continue to enjoy the work and succeed. Can't wait to see how this year progresses!!!

Since she was still very young, she got sick quite frequently during her first year, but she was happy in the Toddler 2 classroom, and we truly appreciated teachers who took great care of her. As she moved on to the Twos and then Early Preschool, we were very fortunate to have patient and caring teachers, especially Brittany, Veronica, and Eli. They are incredibly patient with the children and very attentive to their individual needs. I often saw Brittany, Veronica and Eli reading books to the children with so much enthusiasm and expression, dancing with music along with kids. They also knew the children's belongings right away and kept the classroom very clean and organized. I especially appreciated the bookshelves, where they regularly rotated different books, as well as how neat and organized the teachers' countertops were. These little details gave me a lot of confidence in the care my daughter was receiving and even encouraged me to occasionally donate books and toys to the classroom. I also really appreciate the themed parties and activities the center holds from time to time. Brittany often brings extra party items for the kids, making these experiences even more fun and memorable. When my daughter first transitioned to Early Preschool 2, she struggled with the change for a few weeks. She would tell me every day, "Mommy, I want to go back to the classroom downstairs. I like Brittany, Veronica, and Eli. I don't want to go upstairs." It really showed us how much she loved and trusted her teachers. We have also been very happy with her teachers upstairs, including Victoria, Lynette etc. Good teachers are truly hard to find, and we are very grateful for the care and love they have given our daughter. I also want to thank Larricia for her continued effort in keeping the center organized and running smoothly. One thing I would love to see in the future is a little more teacher-child interaction and age-appropriate academic learning to help prepare the children for TK. I would also love to see more enrichment programs, similar to Webby Dance. My daughter already feels that one dance class a week isn't enough! If the center offered more dance, sports, or other activities, we would be among the first families to sign up. We are truly grateful to the teachers and staff who have made our daughter's time here so happy and meaningful.

She was readily available and kept things organized. Also to Ms. Lynette and Ms. Lupita in the TK class. They were the best!
