Some of the machines appear newer too. There were two men walking around greeting people and sweeping the whole time I was here. I watched both of them hold doors for people as they went out and came in with their clothing. A woman came in with a very large rug and one of them helped her load it into the appropriate machine. They have extractors here, which I wish I would have used before putting my comforter in the dryer, but I wasn't sure about it. ‍ when I asked after it had gone through one cycle if I should pull it out of the dryer and put it in the extractor, the gentleman told me he thought at this point, it probably just needed more time. And proceeded to load the dryer with a dollar of not my money. While waiting for it he continued to check on me "one more?" :) It was very sweet. I don't think I've ever been spoken to at a laundromat before. This was a great experience. I will be back here when I have larger things to do.

Seemed a lady being aggressively jammed up right outside door by a man, upon myself walking outside wanting to ask if she was ok she dropped her head as man continued. Not a good feeling about the situation at all. That was my first and last time using their facilities. Just as they watched a paying customer inside I know whom ever was activating camera could see what was going on through glass windows right outside their door ( a good 10 minutes) however as I sat in my car with that man's truck parked at an angle behind my vehicle (30) I saw no officer drive by to see if woman was ok.

Total strangers were greeting me and asking how I was. Not only that, but the people who work here are super sweet too! I had half a dozen 13 gallon trash bags full of clothes and was slowly bringing them in. One of the employees held the door for me and then grabbed the other two bags I had left next to my car. The price for washing and drying seems to be typical of most laundromats. There are tons of machines to chose from. They have top-loading and front-loading commercial washing machines. The smallest washer starts at $2.00. The most expensive machine is GIGANTIC and costs $17.50. I went with the second largest machine, which costs $9.50 for a regular wash and $11.50 if I want to do "Super Cycle." I was able to fit about 4 of my large trash bags in each machine (only filling it half way) and then transferred those loads to the big dryers that cost $3.50 base fee and 25c for every 2 additional minutes. I find it most economical to start with the large dryer for 50 minutes and then finish anything that's still damp in the stacked dryers for $1.00. I have got to say that the best part about this whole place is that they have incredibly convenient hours. They are open from 6am to Midnight Monday through Saturday and are open from 5am to Midnight on Sunday. I've been lucky enough to come during the day when hardly anyone is there, so I get a ton of clothing washed in practically no time at all. Having a token machine on premise helps a great deal too. I don't usually carry quarters (which the machines take), so being able to turn my money into tokens (which the machines also take) was incredibly helpful and made me feel a bit safer since there isn't cash on hand.

It's relatively clean in here, with an attendant here most of the time. And of course it smells like laundry. They have an ATM, and coin machines that sometimes give you laundry tokens, quarters or a combination of the two. There's also some vending machines with small snacks. The restroom is locked so you have to ask for it to be opened. Plenty of room and folding space. There is a small parking lot on the side and some street parking as well. It's close to home and convenient so will continue to return to wash things that don't fit in my top loader at home.

When you wash you are getting dregs of 1000s of other peoples detergent scents. I use fragrance free products and my laundry reeks as if I used heavily scented stuff. The lack of cleaning out detergent build up means mold and other foulness can be present. Not enough folding tables, no soap in the restroom. Homeless and messed up folks sleeping on the floor. Sad to see it go so far downhill.
