Update to my original post, I went in for threading and they were very quick to help, though it took 45 minutes from start to finish, I didn't realize how red and welted they were until I got in my car and saw with the natural light, I was hoping the swelling would heal up and no marks would be left but I have literal scabs on both sides of my eyebrows.... Laila is amazing at what she does, and I have been going there for 3 years now. Here is the issue though, if you book with anyone else other than Laila your eyebrows will be a hit or miss. Recently I was there and I wanted to start giving others a chance to do my eyebrows as Laila is great and I assume she trains her staff. When leaving I didn't really think my eyebrows looked great but brushed it off as they will grow back. I later went home and realized I have a wax burn in the middle of my eyebrows. When I called to let them know there was no accountability, they said it was not a wax burn but then suggested aloe Vera which literally is used when you get a wax burn! Everyone I have asked including my friend who works for the medical field says that it is a wax burn and the area definitely hurts. I am very disappointed that no accountability was taken. read more

When I left I realized that the eyebrow artist got wax in my hair which I have never happened before and now I have to got my hair to get it out. Also I was read when I left but now over 24 hours letting I have blisters which I have NEVER had happen before. It's on top of that I asked for just cleaning up my shape and the artist totally removed part of my eyebrow creating a new shape. I made an appointment to get my lashes done. They're very sparse so I thought that extensions would be the way to go. Souka (not sure how to spell her name) showed me pictures of before and after a lash lift, where they perm your lashes up around a piece of silicone on your eyelid. Who knew? She dyed them dark afterward and they turned out pretty good. Next time I will get more filled in because my lashes are still thin, but now you can see them because they're dyed black and curled up. I also had my brows waxed and got henna applied. I went too dark, compared to my auburn hair, but I'm sure it will fade over time. She certainly made me look like I have eyebrows again. Chin and nose hair wax were added. OMG the nose hair didn't even hurt, and I was shocked at how many little fuzzy hairs could be seen in the mirror prior and were gone after. I had the facial mask while my eye brows and lashes were being colored too. There was a neck and head massage along with the face mask. Very relaxing. I certainly got the upsell with my intended eye lash treatment but I was very happy that she was knowledgeable enough to make the great suggestions. Loved it! read more

I hate to leave bad reviews but.... I went here to get my brows threaded and the next morning I woke up with what looked like scratch marks (but the skin was actually broken) on both undersides of each brow. When she was threading I noticed it hurting and my eyes were watering badly, which I've never experienced at other salons. After the threading I had red marks under each brows but it wasn't until the next morning that it was showing up as an actually scab. Anyways, I won't be going back. read more

I used to come in all the time, and I was always satisfied with my brows until TODAY! I waited nearly 25mins to get my brows threaded when my appointment was at 12, no problem she was with a client so I thought maybe 10-15mins wait but instead, I wait almost 30mins! Right when I was about to up and leave she calls me back, so I then take a seat and she begins, first things first the light was so bright that my eyes started to water like crazy I couldn't even keep a relaxed face because of how bright it was. Wonderful environment and friendly service! I would suggest a wax over the eyebrow threading, however. She goes slowly with the threading occasionally which makes it more painful and I was left with a welt in between my eyebrows that is still inflamed, red, and swollen after 3 days of getting this done but I am not sure if this was due to technique or just an allergic reaction. Also bring cash!! I tried to tip 30% on the iPad she handed me and when I was sent the receipt I found I had only tipped 30 cents instead.
