I ran over a curb driving behind the CVS on Palm and did some damage to the suspension on my Ford Focus. I took it to Wheel Depot and was quoted $2400 to fix it. When I told them I couldn't afford that they told me they could replace a couple of the parts to make it safe to drive a little over $1000 but by that time I had they feeling they were taking advantage of me. Cons: They are faaar away in San Diego by the Mexican border, so you'll need that 100 miles tow from AAA. I wished the engine he purchased for me had less mileage for resale or trade in value. Pros: worth the drive to get the most for your bucks, Ricardo has fair pricing when it comes to labor unlike other shops. I had called a few shops before deciding to go with him after I got a recommendation from a neighbor. He lets you know before hand if your car needs a part before buying it. He doesn't do anything without your approval. My Kia needed its engine replaced and he did it painlessly and affordable for me. The customer quoted us a price for a transmission repair and without talking to each other, Angel honored his friend's price quote. The price was 2/3 less than our most recent quote.
