This review is over due, nothing but 5 star service! I've been bringing ALL 6 of my vehicles here…read moreover 6 years now. There's many big projects I've had here at Elite Auto Body & Paint. From being my daily work vehicles here to my sport cars or project cars, they do it all! It all started with my daily Toyota Corolla being fixed from an accident. Since then I decided to bring in my 2019 Camaro SS 1LE that was not only new to me but built with a heads cam package. I wanted my car to look as clean as it sounded. I had a carbon fiber hood that was faded and ate up by the sun. Angie and Pepe were confident in bringing it back to life. They also installed my side skirts and splitter for this car. I then brought on my project 2004 corvette that was in need of body work and paint job. They killed it with the quality of paint and being able to install carbon fiber wide quarter panels. I then brought my 2011 BMW M3 in for some carbon fiber work. They re cleared my spoiler and fixed my carbon fiber side mirror caps aswell. The latest work they have done is on my 2014 Camaro 2SS 1LE. They painted all of my aftermarket and OEM splitters, side skirts and diffuser on this vehicle. Since my car is lowered they were able to work careful around my car and provide extra hardware on my splitter to be able to handle driveways so it doesn't come off. It's still holding on strong! No sign of it coming loose. I've brought all of my friends here and family members to have their vehicles fixed. I would recommend bringing your vehicle and counting on them to have it fixed! . From damaged cars to special paint projects or parts installations, they were able to give me affordable prices with AMAZING quality.

When you meet Luis, you'll get the impression that he's a honest businessman and that proved to be true. Luis was responsive and always had answers to my questions, he always was open and explained why he was doing certain things. He responded whenever I messaged him. The shop did very good work on my car. It looks brand new now. They fixed a piece of siding, some window parts, my door and trunk latches, they painted parts and fix things on my behalf that I was not even expecting them to do. They finished earlier than I expected. They finished with an extremely good paint job with no problems or hiccups. They were cleaning parts of my car and my tires when I arrived. They asked me questions and provided me with exactly the services that I wanted. I am going to recommend Luis and his team to my friends and family and anyone else. I brought my Honda Fit here for a full repaint. I was really excited because of all the other reviews. Luis (the owner) and I had spoken for a few weeks via chat and phone calls over Whatsapp. He genuinely seemed like a good guy who does quality work. We agreed on a price and i drove from LA to Tijuana to drop the car off. No issues on drop off Returning 2 weeks later for pickup. I noticed a few things - Pillar trim around the door was loosely connected and clearcoat on the bumper was dried into a clump. They sanded the clumped up clearcoat and buffed it on the spot, kind of shocking to see but seemed to be ok. The trim they just kind of readjusted it and it fit more snug into place -- I didnt think anything of it until it flew off on the drive home to LA! Thats when i really inspected what was happening with the trim around the whole car. Colima had actually broken most of the pieces of trim on the door and glued them back on, NO they didnt tell me. In fact, Luis only came out with this once we spoke on the phone and i told him all the cars door trim was loose and covered with glue. He blamed his workers for breaking the plastic trim and his solution was to use glue to try and permanently glue these pieces to the steel frame. To be clear, Luis had ZERO intention of telling me anything. It was only after I called him that he told me anything. He then offered to buy me new pieces of trim and mail them to me. I thought OK, this is a workable solution. The only issue is - He Never Sent Them. Over the course of 4 months, I texted and called him 5 times and he told me over and over - Sorry its been a busy week, Ill send later this week. Guess what? Never came, no call no text, nothing. Every time I'd follow up, he'd tell me " This Week I Promise" These are pieces that cost $300 in the US (and thats from EBay) probably much higher from the dealer. On my final attempt with Luis, I offered to pay the shipping or send him a label (That would still be worth it to me) but not even that worked. He still blew me off So does he do quality work (apart from breaking things on your car and then hiding it) ? The answer is only time will tell. the paint looks like a new paint job now, but my concern is they are not honest people so who knows what kind of paint they used on my car and it very well may start peeling off in a year.. We agreed on factory quality paint but seeing how he handled this whole situation with the trim, I would NEVER trust them with another car. I would have been a lifelong customer and he screwed me over a few pieces of plastic trim. Its just unfathomable how anyone would run a business like this. Anyway, thats my 2 cents. Bring your car here at your own peril. The price seems great, but its really not if they break your car in the process

When i got the car back, the windshield had not been seated properly with caulk (!) nor had the seal been put on right. Was driving down the highway and the rubber molding came flying off. Was lucky the windshield stayed in place at all. They also worked on the car with the windshield off so there was debris all over the inside of the car. They didn't bother to cover the interior. Was also told to come back the following week to have the car polished and to have a part of the body pulled back into alignment that they neglected to do originally. Called back and the guy said he was somewhere like Eastern Europe with his family. I asked when he would be back because he didn't mention this trip. He wouldn't say and didn't seem to care since he already got paid. The main reason I came here was to have the roof fixed with a rust spot. That wasn't done properly at all. The paint is now coming up and i i have to pay to have it done again. But I wouldn't waste my time going back even if it was free. Guy talks a good game but don't waste your time. UPDATE: the response by the business owner is either purposely misleading or he is confusing me with someone else. I have never asked for money back. Wouldn't meet with him to get money back. And a reply to a comment isn't the way to refute a review. There are no screenshots from me. Which must mean he has issues with other customers. Just left this review so that others know what they're getting into when getting work done here. And the reply to my review tells you everything.

He did a quick preliminary diagnosis and gave me a fair quote for the alternator parts and labor. A few hours later, instead of just doing the expensive repair, he called me and explained that the alternator was actually fine -- the real problem was a wire that was shorting out and causing the symptoms. The repair ended up costing significantly less than expected because they were honest enough to fix the actual issue instead of replacing parts I didn't need. I also had them change the fluids and filters while it was there. He said it looked like my spark plugs needed changing as well. Everything was completed quickly and professionally. It's hard to find shops that are this honest and transparent these days. Highly recommend Total Care Transmissions for their integrity, communication, and quality work.

I had to scramble last minute to find transportation to work and handle my day. PLUS my car is STILL leaking oil the main thing I bought it in for and paid for soooooo they had it for FOUR days and charged me and fixed NOTHING. Luis notified us of a few other optional concerns on the van and when I asked how urgent the timeline is if we wanted to delay these repairs, I genuinely appreciated his honesty because he helped us assess that the break repair was more pressing than the shocks. Knowing the impact of delaying these repairs is helpful to prioritize as customers. In terms of their prices, they were competitive with others too. I'm relieved we found a shop where we can trust the mechanics and we'll be back!
