Long story short, the last guy from there was telling me I needed $700 worth of maintenance. What he didn't know, or even ask, was that I just bought the car certified used from the Lexus dealer not even 6 months ago! So, NAH! No thank you. And this brings us back to J&CP... Pros: Prompt Courteous Reliable Communicative Friendly Fair & honest pricing They took the time to answer any questions I had, and didn't pressure or upsell me. Bonus-I even got a free magnet and calendar from them! I had a diagnostic and maintenance check, and tune-up which cost $167 plus tip ( it was 3 days before Christmas, I felt it was the right thing to do.) I asked if they could install my windshield wiper blades that I forgot about, on the day they showed up. They said, no problem! They showed me all parts to be installed prior to putting them in, and gave me my old parts back. Cons: The only thing that I had issue with was that a) Either they overfilled my power steering fluid, or b) They didn't put the power steering fluid cap on securely, because I had fluid leaking onto my driveway and street. Negative 1 billion stars. Call this guy at your own risk and you've been warned. This guy came to do a mobile radiator swap in my Honda. Pretty basic job. I ordered my radiator from Napa. I asked him when he arrived to be sure it was the right one and he said yes it's correct. I also had a thermostat that I asked if we needed to do at the same time which he stated we did not need to do (in most cases of my experiences in past mechanics have always changed both and that's what it recommended) So this guy gets my radiator in and then calls me over only now after install only to find it's not the right one and my fans can't be screwed back on/the holes do not line up and it's thicker. So basically he said it was correct before install and in fact it was not. Now that's partly Napas fault, but he said it was correct when I asked him to check before putting it in so that's on him.....but instead of pulling the radiator back out he zip tied my fans on! Claimed he was in a hurry etc. Then he literally just spent like 10 min burping air out of the system and claimed he had to go, charged me and took off. He didn't even finish burping the system. I ended up having to do it for another hour watching a you tube video. On top of that suddenly my temp control sensor stopped working which means he unplugged or damaged it. He totally blew me off and said to take it to a shop. So I have the wrong radiator and no way to read my Temp. I'm taking to another mechanic to fix this and paying much more $$ I would not trust this guy at all. Seriously I think most of these reviews are friends of his. Avoid. read more

Our car started acting up on the afternoon of July 4th I wasn't sure what to do,so I Googled auto repair and they came up. I was shocked Jose answered his phone at 3PM on the fourth. What a great experience! Jose is the best!! My driver door open warning kept beeping even when the door on my 2007 Hyundai Sonata was shut. I knew it needed a new switch and ordered one based on my VIN number and was going to try to replace it myself because it seemed like an easy plug it in, but had difficulty. I called J & CP Mobile Mechanic yesterday and Jose was able to come to my house today to install it. At first the new switch didn't work, but Jose knew how to adjust the lever that fits into the door when it's closed and that fixed it.
