Well, Baytown Buc-ees was my 4th in a series of stops around the southern United States. My only…read moreregret was not stopping at the one in MS, but I really wanted stop in Biloxi and get to New Orleans. I had also just stopped in Alabama and spent a fair amount of time at that Buc-ee's location. Baytown Buc-ees was a stop I made at about 3:30pm on 6/10/26 and I knew I was going to battle Houston traffic to get to Austin! I was able to purchase some nuts and snacks here and the store was consistent with other stores in the chain-- tons of food, super clean restrooms, mesmerizing merch, and plenty of gas pumps. Along with my love of Buc-ee's, I also have a ton of perks at Starbucks and was pleased to see that there was a store next to Buc-ee's. I was able to get a cold brew and be on my way in 30min. Fastest Buc-ee's/Starbucks stop on my trip! I guess it possible to do a quick stop at Buc-ee's, but before I left I saw a manager and asked her if this was the first Buc-ees and she said in a polite TX voice, "No sir, we are store #34" She also let me know that the first store was in Clute, TX. Knowledgeable staff!! Since I live near the first Chipotle I was curious. I didn't get to visit the 1st Buc-ee's store or the first In and Out Burger on this trip but there will be more. :) I did visit the first KFC and museum in Corbin KY! lol

You can literally buy anything here...food, drinks, clothes, souvenirs, candles, etc. Some of my favorites are the beaver nuggets, glazed nuts, and Buc-ee's OverBite (Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter). You can literally find just about anything you need here, from snacks and souvenirs to fresh food and desserts. The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh brisket and barbecue hits you right away. The brisket sandwiches are fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The bakery section is dangerous in the best way possible, filled with so many delicious goodies and sweet treats that it's hard to choose just one. The hot food section had so many tasty options available that I honestly couldn't decide what to get. Everything looked fresh, hot, and delicious. No matter what you're craving, they probably have it. The store itself was super clean, well organized, and surprisingly efficient considering how busy it gets. The staff kept everything moving smoothly, and the atmosphere was fun and energetic. If you've never been to Buc-ee's, you need to stop at least once. And once you do, you'll probably find yourself wanting to stop every time you see one on the road.

The potato chip things were not good. They were stale and soggy. We were able to get a couple of bottles of wine for the hotel room next door. They had the braver mascot in the store so the kids were able to take a photo either him and that was cool.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating and we opted to use the suite for 3 hours with the first hour included from Priority Pass. There was no wait, although it was probably around 7am when we stopped by. The facilities are pretty small--we only saw about 4-5 rooms, so I can see why there would be a wait during peak travel hours. The room itself is fairly small--it's barely adequate for 2 adults and luggage--so if your group is larger than that, you may want to consider 2 rooms. There's a couch with a pull out "mattress", a desk, and some basic lighting and white noise controls. If you're using the suite to work, it really isn't worth it IMO. I'd rather use one of the many airline lounges for free. As many have mentioned, the couch itself wasn't super comfortable. There was a hard wooden support right in the middle of it, making it difficult to get comfortable. The pull out mattress was firm, but at least it didn't have that uncomfortable wooden support in it. The suites themselves are pretty insulated from light so with a combination of the white noise generator, we were able to get a good amount of rest. The only saving grace for this place is that you don't have to leave airside and it's significantly more comfortable to be able to lay flat to rest vs. sitting up in a chair in an airline lounge. Is it worth almost $50-100/hr for the privilege? I'm not sure.

Staff at the entry are nice. Unfortunately, I have never had less than a one-hour wait to get in…read more For me, it's been worthless and my Priority Pass useless.

I got the chopped brisket sandwich as I have heard it was THE thing to get here and it was pretty good. Good flavor and a good portion size for a good price. I also appreciate how there is a lot of fruit and meat/cheese snacks to grab in addition to the more classic jerky and nuts traditionally found at gas stations. Plus the gas is the cheat around! The fudge I tried was definitely hurt-your-teeth sweet, but fun to try nonetheless. The merchandise section is full of their branded merch, which is a fun gift for friends! The home goods is also pretty well stocked, and the regular gas station drink/candy/snack section is very well organized and has a TON of options. Also, what they say is true....the bathrooms are impressively clean! Best road trip pit stop we've had. It definitely gets a little loud and crowded, but I have been wanting to try Buc-ee's for awhile and this fully met my expectations!

This was my first ever time at at Buc-ee's! And WOW! This place is wild!…read more We stopped by around 1:30pm on a Thursday and it was a mad house. Every single gas pump was taken; we had to park the car pretty far out in the lot. And inside was full of people. But wow! What an experience. I had seen videos of Buc-ee's but nothing can prepare you for being there in person. It is huge! And there is literally anything you could ever dream of. From houseware, to decor, to clothing, to camping supplies, to pool noodles, to grills, to animal toys, travel items, to literal cow hides! I was walking around just shocked. And then you get to the food area. Tons of flavors of beef jerky, candy, and popcorn. It goes on and on. It is definitely an experience. We left with a few items and no food since we had just eaten, but a time was had! Every employee we ran into was friendly and helpful. You could spend a ton of time in there and still miss something. So glad I got to finally experience a Buc-ee's!
