Asked to leave the parking lot bc they didnt want van life in their parking lot even though they have semi trucks. Idk.
    Ha Lim P.

I'm doing van life and had a friend stay with me. I put her in this hotel for over a week so she could deal with her medical issue with dignity. She's allergic to something in my van. Today, Best Western Ontario Mills didn't give me a parking pass and asked me not to stay in the parking lot. The culture here is about taking your money with little regard to the struggle of people who don't have thousands to throw around. If you're a struggling entrepreneur, or social media influencer theyll eventually tell you you're not welcome here. They'll make you feel poor because they're insecure and not doing anything interesting with their lives. They're not very nice.

I stay in hotels every month and this was a surprise. A friend was in town doing a show so I booked the room last minute. It was a 2 hour drive in 101 degrees. Location was easy to find and in a perfect spot. Entered the check in area and was greeted by aircon and a full infused water dispenser with lots of ice. It's a real nice reception area with a comfy home feeling. To the right a nice fireplace. To the left a well stocked self pay sundries counter. A beautiful dinner table decorated in Halloween in front of glass doors that opens in the am for free breakfast. Across from there is self serve coffee and tea station. A very nice outlay of the first floor. The gym was open and I liked the fire pit with chairs in the back. The staff who checked me in engaged in genuine conversation which I didn't expect and I appreciated. He gave me a lot of tips and I wish I got his name to give him a shout out. But it wasn't just him, I had nice conversation with another staff getting coffee and breakfast. Luv the staff here. Up in my room my goodness. I didn't expect my room to be that spacious. Nice fridge, microwave and coffee maker area. I liked the old school telephone on the desk. The ventilation heater and aircon worked great. The bathroom had a lot of room and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner dispenser. In the morning there was yogurt, cereal, bread, bagels, fruit, make your own pancake station, sausages, eggs with cheese, eggs with veggies and juices. Even the other patrons were polite. I did not expect how great this experience was. I wish I stayed longer to enjoy the area and this room. I'm going to book another stay here just coz the experience was so positive. Mel M Yelp 23:23

Stayed here for 1 night . They could have did a little better cleaning the room but it wasn't too bad. The phone didn't really work and the AC was working but seemed damaged. Could not find the TV remote but learned how to work it on the TV itself. The bed was pretty good I got a decent night's sleep.

Very clean and they had soap in the bathroom brand new and the view was not that bad. In-N-Out and canes is right next to it.

I arrived around 1:30 a.m. to find the front doors locked, but it was easy to use the phone outside to reach the front desk, and I was buzzed in within seconds. Quick, smooth, and reassuringly secure. The late night check-in process was hassle-free, which is exactly what you want after a long drive. The room itself felt freshly renovated, too. Everything looked, felt, and smelled clean, modern, and well maintained. It was also impressively spacious, with plenty of room to spread out, a comfortable bed, and a convenient in-room mini fridge (which, the older I get, is one of the best perks of staying at a Hampton Inn). The free Wi-Fi worked perfectly, which is always a plus when you just want to unwind and watch YouTube videos before bed. In the morning, the complimentary breakfast was pretty standard. I never really eat breakfast, but they had a small selection of hot (and ultra processed) breakfast foods like premade English muffin and egg sandwiches and sausage patties. I opted for a small container of strawberry yogurt. If you travel with a fur baby in tow, the hotel was very pet-friendly. I noticed that they even have a little doggie water bowl in the lobby, which is a thoughtful detail for anyone traveling with their four legged friends. I wish my cats liked to travel. Parking was free, plentiful, and well-lit, and the surrounding area felt very safe. The hotel is located in a suburban-style area near office parks and a mall, with tons of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. I could see that being super convenient if you're staying longer than a night. The only downside is the price. I paid around $200 for one night, which feels a bit steep for the area. At least the quality of the room, the cleanliness, and the overall service made it feel (almost) worth it. I also loved that it's a completely non-smoking property, which really adds to the fresh, clean atmosphere. Overall, this is a reliable, comfortable, and well-maintained stopover hotel. It's perfect for road trippers, business travelers, or anyone needing a clean, safe place to recharge.

Staff was helpful when we could flag them down and get extra towels and amenities from them. This was also when the hotel was used as overflow for some of the convention's events such as, I think gaming, tabletop, and swap meet. Lighting was a bit dim when we went when it was mid day, but this may be to add to the mood. Lobby and pool area are used for cosplayer photoshoots and we luckily got parking since we checked in earlier on day 0 since it got super packed as the convention went forward. Overall not bad and definitely better than the Rachetson (when it was that) and when that arson happened at the Azure (stayed there that year...).

While there were some hiccups along the way - the front desk team showed care and empathy, and follow through - which is why I'm rating my experience as "five stars". To clarify - my experience and imo - the property - is five stars in its class. It doesn't mean its a five star hotel class (Intercontinental/Fairmont) - but it is five stars in its hotel category (mid-range). That said - onto the review! I was pleasantly greeted by Matt and Alyssa at check-in. My request I made via the Marriott Bonvoy app for a high floor/away from elevator was honored, and I had a nice placement closer to the Embassy Suites side (I didn't want to be close to the Haven St. side due to noise concerns). My room on the 4th floor was spacious! I'm happy they left the air conditioning on since Ontario/Socal was going through a nightmare heatwave this past weekend. As you can see from my photos - my King Suite had a lot of extra space - a couch, work desk, microwave/fridge/coffeemaker station. The TV wasn't working (no signal?), but it's nice to have a high tech monitor if you need to use it. Spacious bathroom, walk-in shower, but huge vanity with a closeup mirror. Tons of closet and storage space. Wifi was free since I booked directly through Marriott - and the connection was fast and solid my entire stay. There's a little market by the front desk with chips, snacks, drinks if you need - but there's also a Costco Business Center, Costco Gas, Starbucks and a yummy poke bowl spot across the street. Stater Bros is 10 minutes down the street, and the Panda Inn (predecessor to Panda Express) is also 10 minutes away from the hotel. The first issue that came up though as I was settling down for a quick nap after my stressful drive - there was a noticeable sound of water dripping. At first, I tried to ignore it. Yea that didn't work too well, as the noise didn't go away. So I went hunting for the source of this mysterious noise. Turned out, the AC was leaking! Specifically, the condensation was leaking. I get it - it's a heatwave, its a machine, it's going to break down at some point. So I went downstairs to the front desk to voice my concern... Alyssa listened with empathy, and after I showed her a short video I took of the leak - said she would get maintenance to take a look. I returned back to my hotel room - but on my way back - literally ran into Matt (the FDA that checked me in earlier) and Raul, the hotel's maintenance guru. They told me they were also on their way to take a look at my AC leak. Raul worked his magic, while Matt kept me company. The leak seem resolved after about 30 minutes after Raul applied a fix. I was pleasantly surprised. Rather than having to wait an unknown amount of time to get my AC leak looked at - I literally ran into the very people that were notified about my issue on my way back to my room! The thing about customer service issues - if you have a problem, bring it up to staff - and then (here's the important part) - give them a chance to fix it. Too many times, people are quick to complain because the fix isn't instant. Something like an AC leak is not going to resolve itself by someone pressing a button. Give the people who can help you a chance to remedy your concern. And be calm - don't take it out on them either. It's not their fault their machine broke in the middle of a heatwave. The rest of my stay was uneventful. The leak returned Sunday night - but Iuckily I had packed ear plugs, so just plugged my ears and went back to sleep. I didn't receive any service related issues - my room was still very comfortable with the strong AC during this heatwave. Complimentary breakfast was great. Water pressure and hot water was great. They have a pool and decent gym as well. Parking is $12/night - but this makes sense for a hotel that's across the street from Ontario Airport. Unlike some of the other hotels I've stayed at that are in the middle of nowhere, a parking fee does make sense here to ensure there's sufficient spots for hotel guests - not just air travelers trying to avoid paying for parking at the airport. Overall, I had a wonderful stay. Thanks to Alyssa, Matt, Elizabeth, Raul (maintenance), Carlota (housekeeping). If I ever find myself out in the Ontario airport area - I'll most likely book my stay here.

We had originally planned to stay at SpringHill Suites by Marriott, but due to the Garden Grove chemical spill and reports at the time of a possible explosion, we contacted the hotel to see whether our reservation could be rescheduled. We were fully aware of the hotel's policy and understood that rescheduling might not normally be permitted. After speaking with a supervisor named Alondra, we were told that given the circumstances, rescheduling our stay for a later date would not be a problem. Based on that assurance, we believed the matter had been resolved. However, after a week passed without receiving any confirmation, we called back and were informed that the hotel would not honor the arrangement that had previously been approved. Despite the commitment that was made to us, the hotel ultimately refused to follow through. The issue is not the policy itself--we understood the policy from the beginning. The issue is that we were given a clear commitment by hotel management and then later told something completely different. For that reason, prospective guests should be aware that our experience raised serious concerns about the hotel's reliability and integrity when it comes to honoring commitments made to customers.

When I arrived, my room was filthy. At **8 months pregnant and already in pain**, I should have never been put in the position of having to clean my own hotel room. This was not only unacceptable but completely inconsiderate of my health and well-being. What makes this even worse is that **no one offered to move me to another room**, **no one came to inspect the room**, and **housekeeping was never sent** despite my repeated complaints. I was left to deal with a problem that your staff should have resolved immediately. I spoke with **Marlene Santana**, who simply told me, "The manager will be in Monday." That was not a solution. I needed help at that moment, not days later. I also repeatedly called the front desk afterward, but my calls were ignored, and I was unable to get any meaningful assistance. When I finally received a response from **General Manager Adriana McGill**, it became obvious she had not even reviewed my complaint. She responded to the wrong issue entirely, which demonstrated a complete lack of concern for what I experienced. I also made several attempts to contact her directly, but she never returned my calls or made any effort to speak with me. I also spoke with **Vanessa in Guest Services**, who likewise failed to resolve the issue or provide any meaningful assistance. Instead of taking responsibility and correcting the situation, everyone seemed more interested in avoiding accountability than helping a paying guest. The customer service I received was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. At no point did anyone seem to care that I was a pregnant guest in pain who had been given a dirty room and left without assistance. Your staff failed in every aspect of customer service by ignoring my concerns, refusing to escalate the issue appropriately, and avoiding communication. Because of the condition of the room and the complete lack of response from your staff and management, I am requesting a **full refund** for my stay. I paid for a clean, safe, and comfortable room and received the exact opposite. I should not have been forced to clean a hotel room while eight months pregnant because your employees refused to do their jobs. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will continue pursuing every available avenue to seek resolution, including filing formal complaints with corporate offices, consumer protection agencies, and posting honest reviews detailing my experience.
