I stayed at this hotel for my mom's wedding, and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had. We drove 8 hours to get there, only to walk into a room in terrible condition. There were ants everywhere, including on the bed, which is completely unacceptable. The door had holes in it and didn't seal properly, so there was constant air coming through, making it nearly impossible to keep the room cool. The fridge didn't work at all, which was a serious issue because I had insulin that needed to stay cold. That alone could have created a dangerous situation. On top of that, the beds were extremely uncomfortable--you could feel the springs through the mattress. To make matters worse, I was charged $170 for one night, even though my room was reserved for two nights, so I assumed that was the total. The next morning, I was called and asked if I was checking out, then told I needed to come pay again. When I went to the front desk and explained not only the confusion with the charges but also how unacceptable the room conditions were, the best they offered was charging me $140 more and claiming they "took off" $65. I ended up almost being late to my own mother's wedding trying to sort this out. I even explained that I would not be staying the second night due to the conditions, but needed the room temporarily for my service dog and cat during the wedding. Despite not staying, they still charged me another $140. We ended up leaving the wedding early and driving the 8 hours back home that night rather than stay in that room again. Between the unsafe room conditions, lack of basic cleanliness, broken amenities, and poor customer service, this experience was beyond frustrating. We thought the price was okay for the stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was welcoming. The shower was slow to drain, but had good water pressure. There was a Reese's cup wrapper near the bed on the floor. We hadn't eaten any Reese's. The breakfast buffet was good for a free breakfast. It was hot and the counters were clean. Our stay at the Best Western was not a good experience. I will say that we were greeted by a very nice staff and they seem to be very accommodating. After that however, we were told to go to our entrance on the outside of the building and when I asked if we could be in the interior, I was told all King beds were outside. I didn't really have a problem with it except the room was cement dark walls, spider webs, shower was full of stains and the worst of it was the sheets and towels had crusty things on them. They were very quick to come in and clean the webs and did provide new linens, but at the end of the day, this was NOT a good experience at all. read more

Horrible BW. Not a plus. Diamond member here so not my first rodeo with BW DO NOT STAY HERE. HORRIBLE customer service, a few problems and doesn't rate as a BW Plus. Things went down quickly: 1.Had to ask for welcome gift. Wasn't offered. Said to just grab 2 waters. No welcome, thanks for staying with us or nothing polite. Zero customer service or friendliness upon check in. 2. Brought all my stuff up to room. First key didn't work and had to come back down. 3. Got a second key and big pile of previous guests DIRTY SHEETS sitting on table where tv is. Gross! 4. Called down and they brought another key, the THIRD ONE by now for another room. The room has a lot of peeling paint throughout. Again, this doesn't qualify as a Plus property. Maybe a regular one but definitely not a Plus category. No creme rinse so bring your own ?? Bathroom is smaller than a motel 6. Be warned The front desk clerk, Tim had a horrible attitude, very sarcastic. This is absolutely the worst BW Plus I have ever stayed in. Right off interstate 65 in a very convenient area. Reasonable rates and was good enough for a place to rest your head overnight while on the road. It wasn't fancy but I didn't expect it to be. The bathroom was tiny, there was no soap in the dispenser (luckily I did bring my own), our lights flickered (but hey we didn't need them anyway)...the imperfections are there if you look for them. Beds were comfy enough, rooms have microwave and fridge, it was clean enough and the free breakfast buffet was actually really good! This hotel was DISGUSTING. Do not waste your money staying here. The hotel pics online were completely deceiving. Walking down the hallway to the rooms the paint on the walls and doors are scuffed up and scraped. Got to the room and the room smelled terrible. The curtains were broken. The sink was broken and wouldn't drain. The paint on the ceiling was peeling off. The tub was rusting in the middle. Luckily we only stayed for one night- but for what we paid I'm very disappointed. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and stay somewhere else. I wish we had. read more

We didn't use the pool. The service was nice. The people were kind. The night before, we accidentally booked wrong, and they adjusted the date instantly. Getting up to our room, it was clean. No hair or bugs or stains. If you're used to fancier places, this room is small. The beds were on the firmer side. Amenities wise, they have a microwave, a mini fridge, a clothing iron, a hairdryer, and an AC unit. The bathroom is small and has a tiny tub. Overall, the experience was nice. The free breakfast had no bacon, but sausage and scrambled eggs as well as a cold station with yogurt and pastries and a hot station for waffles. Leaving was easy, check out wasn't difficult at all. My one complaint (we should've complained to the staff) is that around 10, there were children running back and forth through the halls giggling really loudly. They were banging on doors. We should've called someone, but it stopped fairly quickly. We'd stay here again! Close to Yuki (highly recommend, read my other review). read more

What a gem! It's so modern, new and very nice. Loved the room and bathroom, but forgot to take a pic. The entire staff was so friendly! They have a complimentary breakfast buffet, but I usually don't get up for these because: 1) They're never impressive 2) I don't wake up early enough BUT, we had to be up early so I was like why not?! Well, let me tell you, this breakfast buffet was amazing!!! It has eggs, biscuits & gravy, hashbrowns, sausage, waffles and it was alllll delicious! There were so many other options, but this is what I had. The lady working the buffet was soooooo nice and sweet. I didn't get a name, but she was also from SoCal. Such a sweetheart! Reservation and check in was quick. Rate was $69. You get what you pay for. Room was pretty clean. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was so small. The a/c was so very noisy. You could hear the traffic from the interstate as well. The "full" breakfast didn't have anything my husband or I liked. To each his own I suppose. Would I stay here again, probably not. read more

I just received my credit card statement and I was charged $150. I called to ask why and they said my window was left open and they could smell marijauna in my room. I told them, yes, I left the window open, but I do not smoke anything of any kind, nor do I do travel with candles or incense. Do they not think that someone could have walked past my room, it was ground floor next to a parking lot, smoking a joint?? I'm in the fight of my life at this point to save my company a $150 smoking fee. BEWARE of false charges from this hotel trying to make an extra dime... Yes, they are willing to go the attorney route to get their $150 dollars. People, realize, you have NO way of proving yourself innocent, nor do they have a way to prove you guilty if there was a smell...this will be interesting. They better have proof more than a smell if they think they are getting this $150. read more

A very old Concrete bunker type of hotel that has been extensively remodeled. This hotel has exterior room doors. The hotel looks to have a nice pool and the room was clean and well prepared. However the King sized bed comes with 4 postage sized rock hard pillows. Being located RIGHT NEXT to I-65 it's a noisy place. Breakfast was a lot better than most hotels, there is plenty of choice except there are no yogurts? Coffee was bitter tasting, pots need a good wash out. Plenty of parking available and you can walk next door to the Cracker Barrel. My hotel room door had a touchless lock set that did not light up to let you know it was unlocked. This is irritating when your hands are full. read more

We picked this place because it was close to places we wanted to visit during our brief stay. The staff is nice and breakfast was good. The rooms could have been cleaner. Our floors looked like they had not been been mopped in a while and there were ants in our bathroom. Also, our room on the first floor did not look like the pictures they show on the website. Pretty much everything is brown. And when I say brown, I mean brown, not beige or tan. Brown. The walls, the floors, the furniture... all a dark, gloomy brown. Very uninviting. Plus, the description said two bathrooms. There is just one bathroom and a sink outside the bathroom and very small. We were placed on the ground level with outdoor entry.. had to keep curtains closed with the windows facing the parking lot, and we were in the back of the hotel, so you hear all the highway traffic. read more

My sister left an extremely valuable, sentimental ring in our room. She came back immediately after to retrieve the ring. But she was denied access to the room. And was given awful service by Jennifer at the front desk, who was more worried about leaving work than helping my sister find her ring. Just leaving the hotel after staying there over night from traveling from Florida back home to Michigan. We arrived around 930 at night and I must say we just wanted a nice bed to lay our heads on for the night. The outside is very impressive! Very welcoming. We were greeted by Austin, the desk clerk with a smile and a warm welcome. He ask me if I had AAA for a discount, which I totally forget about. I was so happy to only pay 80 bucks for the room before taxes. We get into the room and it was very clean. Beds were very comfortable! Breakfast was very good, not bad for a complimentary breakfast. The young lady that was taking care of that, made sure everything was stocked and full at all times. I hope this review helps with you deciding to stay here. I recommend it highly!!! read more

Chemical sensitivities. We stayed here last night and the room is clean, small but clean BUT when we entered, the smell of cleaning supplies was SO strong, I had to open the window and air it out for half an hour. If you have chemical allergies or sensitivities you'll find it hard to stay here. On another note, the tv barely had sound even turning it all the way up. The bed was not comfortable as other hotels we've stayed in, no soft comfortable bedding. This is important for us to get a good night's sleep. The good part was the hot breakfast, it was well stocked and they even had almond milk, gluten free items too! Which you normally don't see elsewhere. We paid $89 plus tax for the night. The night before, we stayed at the Wyndham in Texarkana for $63 plus tax for the night and that hotel was much much nicer in every aspect! I will pay $20 more next time and stay elsewhere in browling green, like holiday inn, rather than here. read more

This place is apparently a renovated hotel and it shows that a lot of work went to updating the building. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. I booked this hotel as a last minute decision on a holiday weekend (Memorial Day) and there was apparently a soccer tournament the same weekend. The hotel was fully booked by Saturday night but let me just say that the renovations must have included some serious soundproofing. I never heard anyone talking, laughing or a tv once while in the room. The full, hot breakfast buffet was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable (2 queen beds) and easily accommodated our family of four. Parking lot very well-lit and secure. Easy access from I-65 and accessible to nearly everything (Beech Bend Park, Corvette Museum, Historic Train Museum and more). Only reason it did not receive 5-star was the quality of WiFi. Couldn't get it to work but didn't bother making a fuss about it since we were there to relax not work. We MOST definitely will stay here next time. read more

Tried to fix up a run down rat trap. The hotel was nasty from the moment we walked in. Front desk wouldn't/couldn't give us any extra blankets. Keys didn't work when we got all the way up to our third floor room. Pool had no towels, although a nice man, who maybe worked for the hotel went and got us some. He was grilling in the pool area that said no food, and wearing a regular T-shirt rather than hotel attire. The room was horrible. The toilet flushes so loud and our daughter was terrified it was going to suck her down. That's honestly what it sounded like. The worst part was the sheets that were stained. My girlfriend and I were driving from Florida to Chicago and late last night got stuck in the ice storm in the area. We walked into the Best Western and was greeted by Jordan. He was very professional and helpful with what we needed. The hotel room was very clean and nice. Jordan even called about an hour after we checked in to see how we were and if our room was what we needed. We slept great! We were up at 7am just in time for breakfast and was greeting by Kristie who made the food and was very sweet. Everyone who worked here was very hospitable and we will be back! read more

CLEAN! That's the first thing you need to know. AFFORDABLE! That's the second thing you need to know. We showed up and asked for a room and was given a double queen with a military discount of $73 a night. You can't stay on base, in as nice of a room for this price as we did here. We got in late last evening. Checking in was very quick. When we arrived to our room you could see the floor was very dirty and sticky. We had to wear shoes until we got into the bed to avoid our feet getting dirty. After turning the lights on you could see huge cobwebs in the corners of the rooms. We looked around the rest of the room and my husband found a white pill on the side of the bed which he put in a drawer. I am so thankful I brought sandals to wear in the shower. The shower curtain was brownish yellow along the bottom. Never again will be stay at a Best Western regardless of the location. read more

This hotel was fantastic. Brand new, spotless, staff were amazing, decor was beautiful, and wi-fi was free. Free breakfast had lots of variety and was good. Right off the highway. Also, about 50 mins from Nashville so we were able to go in for a show and not pay a fortune in taxes. We compared this to the next few cities closer to Nashville. Trust me go with this exit. Cost and quality are much better. Easy drive to Nashville there and back. Secure location and had no worries arriving late in the evening or parking car overnight. read more

We have stayed at this location two or three times in the last couple of years. The first time we walked in they were really busy at front desk but they stayed courteous and respectful to each guest. Jordon was working every time we have booked in and has been really patient with all my questions, he got us a great room and we were very pleased. Coming from a hotel/restaurant background I'm not one to give praise if it's not warranted. There was a couple of things I pointed out that needed to be addressed but nothing that effected our stay. I hope this kind of service continues in the future. It's the only place in Bowling Green I would suggest to anyone, and I have stopped and checked out most of them in that immediate area. read more

Amazing. This hotel looks brand new and it's beautiful. The rooms are so quiet and the bathroom shower is so nice after a long day of traveling. The beds are high up, quilted and come with 4 pillows!! Now let's talk about the FREE breakfast, it's so fancy. Every selection you can think of to start your day off right. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and always greet you with a huge smile. Oh did I mention the rate for the room is totally reasonable!! I had a unique experience with this hotel. When I checked in the desk people were rude and un helpful. I had booked two nights and they only had me for one and basically told me tough that they were all booked up for second night. I was furious so I decided to talk to Kay the manager and she was extremely nice and understanding of my situation and she did everything in her power to accomadate the situation. She got everything fixed for me and was NEVER rude at all, actuallly she made me so comfortable like I had know her all my life. Moral to my story is that what could of been a devastating event was turned around due to the professionalism and kindness of one person. I want to say a big shout out and thank you to Kay!!!! I am very impressed with her professionalism and kind heart and believe me if I am ever back in Bowling Green I will definetly stay here thanks to Kay......
