Booked Last Minute and Well Worth It !! I was in the Bowling Green area for business and after staying at the Fairfield Inn I had to stay another night in Bowling Green. I used the Bonvoy app and found this TownePlace Suites at a very good price and decided to stay here. Townwplace Suites in general is one of my preferred Marriot Hotels for affordable stays. The Bowling Green Kentucky is a very well-run property. The staff are great, the hotel is clean and and has many modern hotel amenities. The rooms are bigger than a Fairfield Inn or Courtyards and can be used for single-night or longer-term stays. My room was big, bright and clean and had many amenities like a kitchenette and lots of room. The grounds have a pool and fitness center which I used. You can get a good workout in the fitness centre as it has free weights, cardio machines and other exercise equipment, The wipes and the water cooler were maintained. The breakfast had many hot and cold options as well. Overall I had a great stay for a last-minute booking. The Townplace Brand is consistent with its modern facilities and it's guest amenities. read more

Easy check In polite desk people. Room clean and bright. Comfortable beds. Pillows took a bit to find the one that fit me. Hallways and from what I saw in the 3 days we are in town for a wedding was great. With my background in facilities I try and let the workers know what I see and pass on the good job they do. I spoke with a gentleman doing some repairs on the 3rd floor and let him know and then ran into a lady. I know I'll spell her name wrong Sumico??? And she used her phone as a translator as I told her as well. Pleased with the stay as well as the quiet location. read more

This hotel was a very nice surprise and served perfectly as a place to spend the night before attending an event at WKU the next morning. The entire property had recently been renovated, smelled nice, had a nice amount of amenities, a solid free breakfast, and friendly staff. Parking and location were also excellent. The Room Itself: I had room 409, a one king studio sweet, which had minimal cosmetic issues and no major cleanliness issues. Upon entering, there was a hallway doubling as a kitchen, with a spacious closet, functional door locks, and a well stocked and well lit kitchen. My only complaint here was the large calcium deposit on the coffee maker. The main room features a comfy couch/sofa bed, a nice king bed, a desk, and plenty of outlets/ storage. The bed was very comfy and there were zero cleanliness issues, with my only complaint being the desk light not working. The HVAC and few were fine by the way. The restroom was spacious and featured a functional sink and toilet, a tub/shower combo, and weirdly, closet access to the same closet discussed earlier. It also featured pump product, with my only complaints being a lack of lotion and some most interesting caulk around the tub. With that being said, this is an excellent hotel I could recommend to anyone. read more

Service was fine, and room was adequate, but I like to work in my room AND watch TV. The TVs in this place are tiny! And room layout is such that you cannot sit at the desk working and see the TV. Bad layout and they went cheap on the electronics. I know, 1st world problems. I usually stay at the Tru literally next door, but was working on my gold lifetime points...mistake. Recommendation to Towneplace...upgrade the TVs. read more

This is a review for trying to directly book a room at TownePlace Suites Bowling Green: a very disappointing, frustrating, and fruitless activity that resulted in me looking elsewhere (and finding an amazing place to stay)!!! I will be attending an event later this month with a local, high-profile business based in Bowling Green; this corporation includes this hotel in their list of preferred hotels (with corporate rates). When I called TownePlace Suites last night to try to book a room, the front desk person was unable or unwilling to help me - she seemed to not understand the protocol for issuing a room with a corporate rate on file (which should be systematic for most hotels with nearby businesses). I was told to call back after 8 AM the next day (today) to talk with the Sales dept.; I called at 8:30 AM and told they would not be in until 9 AM. After four more calls on my end (with either talking with a robotic, disinterested front desk attendant, or having my calls ring until they were disconnected w/o answering), I came to the conclusion and found all the signs pointing me to go another hotel route. Thankfully, Home2 Suites (a Hilton company) took my call and transferred me to the Sales Department who immediately took my information and processed a reservation with the applicable corporate rate. I was so impressed with Home2 Suites' efficiency, professionalism, and dedication to accommodating the Traveler, that I will definitely go to this hotel every time I stay in Bowling Green, meeting with my account(s) in the future. I went to the trouble calling back to leave a VM with TownePlace's Manager (because the Sales Contact, who I eventually connected with, was supposed to transfer me to the GM's VM); the Sales Dept. contact seemed to prefer to disconnect me instead of transferring me. I left a VM with the GM to call me when she is back the next day, so I can share my experience with her. I believe that one often leads by example, and I am hoping that this is not the case here. I should not have to beg to have a hotel take my reservation request, giving them my time, money, and eventual loyalty. I suggest looking elsewhere for a hotel in Bowling Green KY, and highly recommend Home2 Suites by Hilton. Worse stay I've had in a hotel in YEARS!!! When we arrived we were told our room was on the first floor. I asked not to be placed on the first floor because you always have someone above that's disrespectful and I don't get any sleep. At 4 am a kid starts running across the floor and an adult that sounds like they weigh 400 lbs is all over the room above and it doesn't stop. I call the front desk and ask them to ask them to be quiet. No change so we get out of bed and go to the front desk and was told they don't have a room 204 above us so now we have to take the elevator up and walk the hall to see if there is a room above us and guess what there is!!! . So do I look completely stupid?!? So she never called or went up to ask them to be quiet! Because there is no room above us! The room is subpar with a 32" TV and an extra small bath. Definitely won't be back! read more

This place is apparently awash in Diamond and Titanium Elite program members. Despite having made only one room preference request (high floor), I was given a ground floor room near the lobby. When I checked at the desk, I was told it was impossible to move my booking to a higher floor. Apparently once they enter a room number in the system, there's no way to change it. In any case, I hope their other guests don't mind seeing me naked, because I like natural light and leave the shades open during the day! Also, the premium internet doesn't work, so be sure to have a data account with a local cellular carrier! I would also like to extend my congratulations to the winner of the Second Floor Track and Field Qualifying Rounds, which has been taking place directly over my head for the last four hours. read more

Great hotel, especially for the avid traveler. Brand new just over a year old so every thing is clean and smells fresh. The location is perfect. Right off 65 behind greenwood mall. The room layouts a spacious and the kitchen areas are great. They have the updated NFC keys so no worries about demagnetizing your key. They have the usual breakfast items of most hotels, but I stay in suite hotels because I cook all my meals so I don't eat their food. The laundry area is bigger than most I've seen with 3 washers and 6 dryers. The gym has 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, some free weights and medicine balls. Their snack center has plenty to choose from and you can get beer and wine. If you need groceries there is a Kroger within walking distance. The a blouse best thing about this place is the staff!! They are amazing!! Very professional, kind and outstanding at their job!! One note, this hotel gets a lot of use due to its location (corvette museum) so I would recommend booking early. read more

Carpets a filthy! We stayed in room 413 and it was discussing. As you get off the elevators the carpets on the 4th floors are horrible. This is not the Marriott standards we have know as we are platinum life members. read more

Nice hotel! We stayed for two nights while visiting our friend and attend the WKU football game. The rooms are equipped with a mini kitchen and nice sleeping area with a good size work area. Only down fall was the shower, it was small and the water pressure was not desirable. Also the free breakfast did not have any low carb or no carb options lots of bread and cereal type items. We did like how friendly and knowledgeable the staff was from the moment we were greeted or wen encountering an employee in the elevator. read more

For a "new" hotel, they need to do some maintenance. There were cracks in the walls and paint. The room looked and smelled much older then the building it was in. I had a 2 bdrm suite with kitchen for 6 nights. Checked in on Saturday, and Sunday the room was not cleaned, the TP and paper towels were not refilled, and there was no vacuuming. We had to visit the front desk EVERY day of our stay to ask for a roll of TP and or paper towels They have cards in the room that state that a "deep cleaning" will only be done between guests or by request during your stay. On Sunday night I noticed a toenail clipping (NOT mine!!) in one of the bedrooms. First thing Monday morning, I requested vacuuming. Came back later that evening, the toenail was still there. Wednesday morning I inquired again at the front desk about cleaning, asked again that the room be cleaned and actually watched the clerk take notes and write DEEP CLEANING on the housekeeping form. Came back later that evening, the toenail was still there. I was checking out the next day so I didn't bother asking for another attempt at cleaning. Maybe if I'm ever in Bowling Green again, I will go visit the resilient clipping. I'm sure housekeeping will not have managed to clean it up yet. read more

First and foremost, the service here is 5 star all the way. The first impression was when I called beforehand to ask specifics about what the kitchen and room had available for use. What she didn't know, she asked about and also reassured me that if they didn't have something, they could get it for us. Check in was quick and simple. Every single person was smiling, greeted us and went out of their way to be helpful. The location is outstanding - very close to tons of restaurants and shopping, the highway and 2 grocery stores. The small pool was nice for the kids. I appreciated that towels were available. It can feel crowded quickly and can get loud with those acoustics! We needed an HDMI cable of all things and the desk had one that we could borrow. That was so great! And one cool thing we meant to take advantage of is that they have a nice Weber grill outside and you can use it. They have the tools AND seasonings available at the desk for free. That is an out of the box touch we haven't seen before. Free breakfast is exactly the same mediocre selection every day- VERY runny oatmeal, bread, bagels, English muffins you can toast, sausage patties and eggs that aren't scrambled - more like cracked open and cooked in a round mold. Cold cereal - Froot Loops, Special K with berries and Corn Flakes, yogurt, milk, juice, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, cheese slices and "danish" which are really muffins that are very processed blueberry and apple cinnamon but they for sure snuck some banana ones in there too. On Saturday and Sunday it switches over from the sausage and eggs to make your own waffles. Please consider slipping the person who prepares it a couple of bucks each day. They make it and clean up after you and it really thrills them to be noticed and appreciated. However. There are some problems that were beyond the control of the employees but not out of the realm of the company. The hotel needs a makeover. The carpet is dingy and stained in the common areas as well as the rooms. Some dishes were dirty and chipped. It would be a great touch if they took the time to make sure there were as many settings as booked the room. For instance, we had four of everything but we booked for 5 people so adding an extra setting for us would have been lovely. The dishwasher in our room was not bolted in so that every time I had both racks pulled forward, the entire dishwasher fell forward out of the cabinet. Understandably, the pots and pans were the cheapest quality. That makes it harder to cook in because they were warped and hard to have an even contact with the stove. The non-stick coating was coming off and that's not all that safe or appetizing. The hallways are very loud. You will hear people in the room next to you and in the hallway. This was the only option for our family with the last minute plans we made. I am glad we had a kitchen and two bedrooms but it's small quarters. The employees are ALMOST worth it to come and stay again but not without an update to the property. read more

So dirty and loud. They don't clean the rooms during your stay the rugs are filthy with stains and dirty matted into the carpet. There were bugs in my bed I asked to be moved to another room and I was told it would be ready when I got back. however the evening person had no idea of the situation and I had to wait while she worked it out. It's also extremely loud you can hear everyone in the surrounding rooms as well as the out door area. The gym was also unkept their were old sweat drips on the equipment. My review for this hotel is 4 stars for the simple reason of internet. The internet is almost slower than my school's Wi-Fi. That's pretty atrocious. Other than that, my experience was quite good. I had a blast in the pool yesterday night. After that, I enjoyed a nice shower in my room. The beds were quite comfortable too. In addition to this, the complementary breakfast was delicious. On our first official family road trip for spring break. This hotel was absolutely fabulous. From Jessica greeting us at the front desk, interacting with my children, remembering my name the next morning, and just overall being incredibly friendly, we knew it would be a great trip. My five year old said, " can we come back sometime to see Jessica again?" The room was beautiful and clean. Shower was delightful - with a high nozzle (tall family) and great pressure. Breakfast was just right and tasty. The worker there was also attentive and friendly. Used pool - it was clean and not as chlorinated as some hotel pools are. We are thinking of coming back here again on our way back home. Awesome place. read more

We were very pleased with our stay. The rooms are nice. They have modern upscale finishes. The facility is clean and the amenities are over the top. The breakfast offered is addictive. We stayed here for a soccer tournament and were very pleased! They were very accommodating and even opened their breakfast an hour early for the teams that had early morning games. My car broke down while we were there and they even let me store our luggage until we were able to get a ride home; even after we checked out. Of all the years we have traveled for sports the staff here were the best!! read more
