Nyesha helped us check in early so we could relax after an early travel morning and helped with any questions we had. Breakfast was tasty, the lobby and breakfast area was clean. Our room was spacious and spotless. The location was wonderful and close to what we were there for. We were in town for a volleyball tournament and it was a 5 minute drive across the bridge with ample parking. Very easy! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

My work travel plans…read morechanged abruptly, and while I understood there was a restrictive cancellation policy, I was told by an employee that they would make a one-time exception, refund me, and not charge me. After that, the general manager was incredibly difficult to reach and refused to speak with me directly. When I finally received his response, it was essentially that the employee "should have known better" and that they would not be honoring what I had been told. That is unacceptable. If a staff member represents that an exception will be made, the hotel should either honor it or at least have management speak directly with the guest and take accountability. Instead, I was brushed off and left with a charge I had been told would not happen. Our office has about 20 people who travel to the area regularly for work, and based on this experience, we will not be staying at this property going forward. Terrible customer service, poor communication, and no accountability from management.

First of all, no fire alarm!! I guess it was because for a non-smoking room they actually allow people to smoke because the smell doesn't lie. room stunk. sheets were dirty. thank goodness we had our own. holes in curtains taped. Tub gross floor disgusting. So, when i sent a message to Wyndham about the room the manager called worst customer service ever asked me why i stayed. why have you ever had to pay for two rooms in one week no i went got my own sheets and made the best of a terrible mistake save yourself run away. The elevator doesn't like to work either, sounds like it's about to break. scares you half to death and the people that stay long term even laughed because they already knew how bad it was. when we got there the tv didn't work so I was grateful that he did come and fix that and he also sprayed the room down because it was horrible so thanks to him for even recognizing that it smelt bad. but honestly people pictures don't lie don't book here.

I got a basic room and it was more spacious than other places I've stayed at. I had a mini fridge that was bigger than most mini fridge, microwave and TV. the bathroom had 3 large mirrors over the sink and the main area had a full length mirror to get ready. everything worked fine in my room, a few missing and loose screws. most of the walls, doors and furnitures are dirty with stains all over. rooms definitely needs an upgrade. water pressure was good and had plenty of hot water. bedsheets and towels were washed. I had 3 furniture chairs and a lot of lamps that was bright enough for lighting. the floors were fake wood which I prefer over carpet hotels so my room didn't smell. complimentary parking and basic simple breakfast every morning, and ice machines. a male employee at the front desk kept staring at me while I ate breakfast. there's a pool that was keep clean, vending machines and laundry washer dryer area. close to downtown and other attractions. I came with friends and their room smelled like cigarettes and they didn't have toilet paper. housekeepers came and took my trash but didn't replace the trash bag and left the trash can on my bathroom sink which left the sink dirty

Enjoyed breakfast and room was spotless and ready for us. We got to enjoy a balcony in our room and that was an extra treat. William at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. New Orleans had me at hello and the Hampton Inn made sure my stay was comfortable. On an impromptu,…read moreromantic getaway, we ended up staying in New Orleans after our trip to Florida and the Hampton had great reviews so we stayed here. However, many of the reviews failed to mention the train that runs through the nearby track around 4 and 6 in the morning. The first night it woke me up but after that it didn't bother me as much. But it may hinder me from staying there again. The room, not much of a view, even from the top floor but my private balcony was everything. Every morning I grabbed my book, stepped outside, existed the scene for a while. It was prefect. The complimentary hot breakfast starts at 6 and they take breakfast seriously. There's something for everyone with the spread they have. Parking: you're going to want to get the secured parking option. Trust, it's worth every penny. It could be considered pricey but in my opinion, not for the area. The other option is to park on the street. You decide. The property is newer to the area and sits right on the edge of the French Quarter so it's in great walking distance to everything going on. I strolled the neighborhood several times and felt comfortable the whole time.

Super…read morefriendly front desk staff...Southern warm welcoming vibes :) The location was recently built so everything still had the new car smell :)) I appreciate the fact that the front desk don't turn their nose up at me because of my room specifics, not by the exit stairs or elevators AND don't assign me an ADA room uuug! I didn't feel the need to look at my room first because every room is still nice. I also like hotels that have a large t.v. and mounted on the wall. Friendly staff will always lure me back and overlook "thats just the way it is". The location is in walking distance of several restaurant options and service stations. Thanks guys for a pleasant weeks stay! Did I mention they have motorcoach parks and street parking if ya choose! Here today! There tomorrow!

First time here and a little out of town but without the New Orleans prices. Great front desk…read morestaff. Rooms are a little aged and have funky smell like a super cleaner or something. The carpet could stand replacing in the room. Actually thinking the smell that is on the whole 3rd floor could be from new carpet in the hallway. My biggest pet peeve is NO hard line Ethernet only Wi-Fi which is never as fast. The rooms still have the cables, but they have cut off service. They don't realize some device like the Amazon Kindle is very much a pain to get on their Wi-Fi. You have a code but has to be entered on there webpage. The Kindle is just one of many devices that has a really poor browser and without internet it doesn't want to connect most of the time to their page. We had to wait till we are somewhere else were you can just connect like Starbucks or McDs. I could create a hotspot from the MacBook if I had the hardline. Neither of our cellphone plans include hotspots. Like the dual pillows pick hard or soft. The bed was also very good. OK what's with not being able to an ice machine on every floor. It's a 3 story building and only the 3rd floor doesn't have an machine (really) or washing machine. They have Cox cable and you get all the HBO and more so huge credit for that. Our room had a mini microwave and the small refrigerator both were handy. Down to food only got bacon one day they seem to like the sausage links and turkey sausage patties. They did have chocolate milk. They have popcorn machine which is nice in the evening. They are close to several good eating spots. New Orleans Food and Spirits is great. The only thing keep this from a 4 star review was the smell in the room and 3rd floor. We checked in another Holiday Inn after leaving and there was NO smell at the new location.

Starts with the friendly and accommodating front desk staff name Benny and the entire staff. The house keeping supervisor Michelle is always on top of everything when you need something for your room. My housekeeping lady name Brenda is such a sweet lady that cleans and make my bed everyday and the rest of the staff from front desk and to all the housekeeping. so when I come back from work my room is always clean and ready for me to relax and sleep. Our room was cleaned and restocked daily and also had a microwave and a refrigerator. All of the staff members were friendly except for Michelle at the front desk. When I checked in our room block was supposed to include breakfast but she said I booked past the block date which I didn't. I told her the block was open until the 31st and I booked on the 29th. She still refused and was not polite about it. I didn't try the food at the restaurant but the bar wasn't well stocked. They ran out of mixers on the first night of the conference. Upon check out I encountered Michelle again. I asked to confirm my room rate had been adjusted to the price of the block because it was showing more than what he should be. She quickly responded with a very rude tone that she can't change room rates. I told her we emailed our contact with the hotel and it was supposed to be fixed. She scoffed and told her eyes then began typing on the computer. No pleasantries, no small talk just an angry look on her face as she continued typing on the computer. When she finished typing she handed me a receipt with the adjusted room rate and never said thank you for staying with us or anything- just handed me the receipt and looked back at her computer. This review would've been given a 5 but because of her rudeness I decided a 3 would fit more of how I felt the stay went just because of 2 interactions with one disgruntled employee. This will tell you how awful the experiences were with her. I would recommend staying there but avoid Michelle if at all possible because she'll ruin it for you.
