We located a Comfort Inn in Johnson Creek which is located just outside of Madison. While it looked conveniently located just off of the highway, it took a few minutes to get to their location. Not a big deal. We actually really liked their location as the hotel is located in a neighborhood. This was nice as it was far enough from the highway where you could still hear the vehicles driving, however it was not loud enough to make it hard to sleep. Some of the Yelp reviews were certainly mixed. We found that there was plenty of parking. Check in process was smooth. The room was large and clean. The bed was decent and the shower pressure was decent. They do have a continental breakfast which did not meet what we thought would be a continental breakfast from our previous experience.There was some juice, cereal, granola bars and eggs. Not much of a selection at least when we stopped in. Not that big of a deal for us as we already had breakfast plans. The best part of this hotel was the price. Our room with a king bed was about $100.00. Very affordable! We would certainly consider staying here again next time we take a trip this way.

Staff were, yes, and they give you a baby-size hand sanitizer. But the guests at this hotel didn't follow signage. I do wish there were more hand sanitizers around and enforcing masks in public areas.
