There's also a café on-site that serves breakfast and lunch with plenty of seating, plus free coffee in the mornings and water in the evenings, which was a nice touch. The only downside is parking. You can use their paid lot or street parking, but both require planning since permits may be needed. Overall, I'd recommend this spot if you want to stay near downtown without being right in the middle of everything.

Great bartenders and unique drinks. The "art" part of this hotel is very much evident right when you walk in. A bright and colorful design which provides another opportunity to explore art but different mediums. I always make sure I have cash in hand to grab a piece or two from this brilliant addition to the hotel. Such a wonderful feature and an asset for Milwaukee!

The attention to detail is off the chain! The front desk staff was so friendly. Check in was easy. I was given an overview of the hotel including amenities. I was provided a bottle of water for my walk. There is extra water (complimentary) which can be found in your room too. I had the opportunity to enjoy breakfast at the first floor restaurant. The avocado toast with fried capers was delicious. Definitely will be back.

God, where do I start?…read more First off the place is sophisticated and well appointed. That's not the problem. I was there on a Saturday night and my room was just above the street, freeway side. There was non-stop drag racing, loud stereos and yelling till 3AM. At first I thought the window was open because it felt so close, like it was 10 feet away. Turns out there's just really poor noiseproofing. They do provide ear plugs but they didn't help. When i complained about it, (everything by text, BTW) they said they had never heard that complaint. The first lie of a series of other crazy lies. At checkout, Rosa said she would talk to the owner and adjust my bill. I thought.... great! Weeks go by and like 20 texts, still no credit. I called and talked to the owner. He assured me I would get the credit. Another week goes by. Finally they said they had issued the credit and sent me some "proof". My name and the words "-$100". What the hell was this? I still had no credit, having checked my credit card daily. Finally, almost a month goes by and I email the owner and say, I never got the credit. He said he didn't have time for this and they would void the credit card "credit" and mail me a check. It's been weeks and still no check. I figure these grifters need the money more than I do so I'll just let this review suffice. Stay at your own risk. Sketchy as hell!

Manager on duty answered my call on check in day to confirm we had a 1st floor room (rolling in bikes) and give us an orientation when we checked in. Took care of getting me a replacement light bulb for one on the fritz. For $120 a night (no minimum stay), we got a fireplace suite double queen. Didn't test the fireplace but it had a serviceable coffee table, couch seating for three (no sofabed) and also a separate desk to work at. Fridge and freezer included. I forgot that there was vending in the building and Hardee's across the street closes at 10 p.m.! Beds were comfortable and shower was efficient. Inside/outside sinks make it easier for folks to get ready. Relaxed - did not test TV for streaming. Wifi was fine. Sorry no photo! No frills inn - so lobby is small for seating, so some folks hung out outside to enjoy the great Friday evening. Folks are friendly enough...don't get nervous and think it is nefarious loitering...not your town. Evening was quiet - slept well to sunrise.
