I booked the jacuzzi room for one night for me and my husband. I got a call around 4 pm the day of the reservation asking if I was aware of a $100 CASH ONLY deposit for the room. I was not. I was informed that it was "on the website somewhere." I investigated and there is a drop down that you can click at the very bottom of the page of the reservation summary. It's labeled hotel information and is completely separate from the deposit and fees drop down. It states, "Guests living within a 50 mile radius of the hotel will have an additional $200 per stay authorization or cash deposit that will be released upon checkout if no damage occur." I've stayed at other hotels that required a deposit, but never had I needed to provide one in cash. There is absolutely no reason for it. We had to stop off at an atm to get the money. The stay itself was fine. The jacuzzi was nice and everything was clean. The bed was comfortable and it was pretty quiet. The bed has a metal base so if you bump it there's a terribly loud noise. Breakfast was pathetic and there wasn't much to choose from. The icing on the cake was when we checked out and wanted our deposit back. Housekeeping checked our room and there was ONE washcloth that had some brown coloring from us wiping out the residue from the bath bomb we used. The hotel attendant asked, "What happened to the towels?" As if they were ruined or something. After I explained she seemed reluctant, but she did return my money. She also made a snide remark about my signature being "interesting" and that "no one will ever steal it that's for sure." What? I don't recommend unless you want undue hassle for a mediocre experience. read more

Best Western has upped their game. It's been a while since I stayed at a BW. This hotel is either new or recently renovated. Our room seems to be nothing more than the others, meaning it wasn't a suite or such. Microwave and refrigerator is standard. Comfortable bed, nice shower and a large tv. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our rate was, including all taxes, was $114.00 total. They have modified the breakfast but it's plenty. More than expected, really. It's right off the interstate (actually a route but, it's limited access 4 lane) and near all the restaurants and shopping in Searcy. Looking fir a place? Give them a try. read more

While visiting a family member at the hospital we stayed at this location and we were not disappointed. This location appears to be fully renovated. Room was very clean, hallways clean, indoor pool area well kept, and a great breakfast which was included. The breakfast was equivalent to the breakfast at holiday inn express. I would have given this location a 5 for customer service and cleanliness but one thing really turned me off; there is a lemon oil diffuser on high in the lobby that its so overpowering you will leave smelling like lemon pledge someone please turn it off and put in a plug in instead. read more

Hotel staff did not wear masks during Covid despite signs all over that ordered guests to don them in midsts of a spike in cases in that region. The exterior looks more modern and updated than rooms. Rooms were dated. Beds were very uncomfortable with tremendous spring. Every movement by my spouse was felt throughout night. Pillows were 15 inches x 15 inches in full sized pillow cases. There is NO ATM in the area. we were required to drive to another business' atm. it frustrating to be told about the deposit at the last minute. There reasoning. They been burned. Be careful! At 10:30 p.m., I made a reservation for this hotel. I had concerns over the no-refund policy, which is why I waited to make the reservation until the night before I'd hit the road for a 9-hour drive. I wanted to ensure nothing would happen to change the timing of my trip. I reserved a room for (I thought) the following night and went to bed. Little did I know that at some point (maybe because I was having trouble logging into my Best Western Rewards account), the date had defaulted back to that night. (I know with absolute certainty I had initially changed the date to the following night, because I thought to myself how silly it was to try to rent me a room at 10:30 at night for that same night.) When I arrived at the hotel, I was told, "Oh, yeah. You were our no-show last night." I was stunned to realize I'd paid $90 (plus taxes and such) for the previous night. I asked the manager whether he would just apply that toward my stay that night. He said the best he could do was to offer me a room for $70 that night. It was my fault, he pointed out (several times). I pointed out that I'd already paid him $90 (plus taxes and such) for nothing, and again asked if he could cut me a break. He said to look at it from his point of view (because it isn't about the customer, after all) and that he'd had to hold that room for me. I noted that I'd made my reservation at 10:30 at night (technically 10:38, but I was rounding), and that he hadn't lost anything unless someone had come in AFTER 10:30 the night before and been turned away. He again told me to look at things from his point of view, and the slight discount was all he was willing to offer. Needless to say, I left. I feel it's important for prospective customers to know that if they book a room here, and anything happens to their travel plans (or the website glitches on them), they are unlikely to get any sympathy. I certainly know I would never think of booking at this hotel again. And, by the way, since the manager asked me at least three times to look at things from his point of view, I have tried. Somehow, I keep coming to the conclusion that I'd try harder to help my customer, and that I'd feel dirty keeping $90 from someone based on a website glitch. But that's just me. read more

The staff is so friendly and nice. We loved the renovated room it was clean and well kept and beds were extremely comfortable.

Friendly people and clean rooms. The room was a great size and the best were comfortable. Linens and floors were clean.

My cousin and her friends who are college students house burned and left them homeless l. They tried to check in to have a place to sleep and was refused service because they smelled like smoke. What kind of business does that??? read more

I was so disappointed at this Best Western. Found pop-corn on the carpet the night stand was so dusty and the water pressure was horrible. I had drove for over six hours so I did not immediately tell the front desk. Thinking I would talk to someone in the morning. Was rudely told that nothing could be done and no management was available to speak to. And the breakfast bar was also very lacking the eggs were horrible. My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Searcy, AR for a school reunion in August of 2014. The room was clean, facilities were kept up and the front of house staff very helpful. One thing they can work on is breakfast . . . it needs help. read more

It was okay. There isn't much to choose from when staying in Searcy. There are very few hotels that I would even consider over sleeping in my car in this area. If Searcy or a surrounding area is your destination, I would give this Best Western a shot, especially if cost is a concern. I had a week long trip to a smaller town that was about 30 miles from Searcy. Searcy was the closest "major" city, so I had to find something that was somewhat inexpensive for the duration and tolerable otherwise. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are remodeled, which makes the room look cosmetically appealing. They definitely skipped on the beds and the bathroom though. I stayed in a double, where both beds leaned significantly when laying on one side. The linens were not bleach white, as I normally prefer and the bathroom felt like it had been skipped in the remodel. All in all, for the area and price, it was tolerable. read more
