The air conditioner in the room rattled so bad it made it hard to sleep at times. The treadmill in the "fitness center" was a joke. It was so old and squeaky it hurt my ears with every step. I will say though, the older woman who does the breakfast in the morning was always on time and so nice. Also, they took away the coffee pots in the room and now you have to go downstairs for coffee, which is a big turnoff for me. All in all I would not recommend this place. The issues with my room (I will add pictures) obviously have been there awhile and are known, yet they are not repaired. These kinds of issues don't just happen over night, they are from neglect and lack of cleanliness.

I was able to spread out all around that room and complete more than I thought I'd be able to.... Thanks to the rainy weather. While I was working, my husband enjoyed the main living area/bedroom/tv. He said the bed was perfect for him. For me, not so much! I felt the mattress was too soft and the pillows may as well have been bath towels. There was little to no substance to them! My husband didn't care for the energy efficient shower head! He said he has to keep his head under the shower head too long to rinse out the shampoo. I used the tub & had no issues. Water got hot quickly! One weird quirk about this room's set up is that the bathroom sink was separated from the room that housed the tub/shower/toilet. Oddly, the sink was placed across from the tub/toilet closet immediately inside the hotel room door (where a closet is usually located.) I've never seen that particular placement before and it seems quite strange as most people get out of the shower and immediately dress in front of the mirror without leaving the same physical room. Aside from the quirky things about the layout of the room.... It was fantastic! Hotel is quiet. The room darkening curtains & dreary weather made for good night's sleep. The staff was helpful with all questions. The breakfast was decent, the one day we made it. I look forward to staying here again next year for the American Truckers jubilee.

The website states $20 per night for dogs. We dropped the dog off and left to go to dinner the clerk called and stated they didn't allow dogs.We left in the middle of dinner to go pick her up, she called the cops and the owner told the clerk to not refund any money. I spent $300 for 3 night stay and walked in the room for 10 mins to drop her off. The cops said they have had multiple problems out of the hotel and I showed them the policy's where it says super 8 allows dogs for $20 per night. The owner called the clerk and told her to tell the cops that they want a no trans passing filled against me. They refused to refund any money and told me it wasn't their problem. We booked through booking which has given us the run around since then. Finally today booking says that we need to contact the property our selves. So we did, and we're straight up lied to about OUR experience by the so called "property manager" Val or bal, whatever her name was. She said we NEVER ONCE complained on the property, then proceeded to say that they knocked and knocked and knocked and knocked (her words not mine) on our door the day after our complaint to see if we wanted to change rooms. They said we REFUSED housekeeping in our room, all lies and honestly disgusting to be to told that your experience just didn't happen. The "property manager" is a very rude lady. The breakfast was nothing to speak of, no protein at all, the next morning it was the same items, nothing added. The vending machines had only fabric sheets in them, no snacks. Not the best I've stayed in, but have been in worse.
