We were moved here from Aikens Lodge where the tvs were not working. Room was fine but there were dirty wet towels left in the bathroom. Nighttime desk women were very welcoming. The morning woman was not. Once she found out we moved from Aikens she waved her hand dismissively and seemed uninterested in helping us. Note: NO MICROWAVES in the rooms. If that's important to you go elsewhere.

not very happy with this place! i called the front office to ask about the vendin machines to buy a cola. i was told to go to the vending machine by the pool. i bought 2 coca-colas, they have charged me $40.00 for them. (4 separate pending transactions of $10.00 each) after i saw a phone alert from my bank, i called the front office and paul said he was unable to do anything.

Looks more like a motel on the outside but the interior hallways look like a larger hotel's. The bathroom inside the bedroom is larger with a large enough space to open the door while you're in the toilet. Dial shampoo, conditioner and body wash are on mounted wall dispensers. Queen beds seem a bit smaller. Might be a full? There is an outdoor pool kinda in the middle of the parking lot. The ice machine is also outside in an enclosed area beside the pool. This Best Western is cheaper than other Best Westerns in other cities/towns. Kanab is a super quaint tourist town with tons of pokemon stops, lots of signs along the sidewalk showcasing historical buildings and fun historical facts/trivia/tidbits encouraging you to walk around the town. Complimentary breakfast is served in what the super friendly front desk ladies fondly call "The Dungeon". The oatmeal was a bit watery but customizable. There are plenty of fruits and yogurt. Pastries and warm savory items are also available. The super friendly front desk ladies also gave us great restaurant recommendations. GREAT WIFI. Every hotel we used during our road trip offered free WiFi, but a lot of them have bad signals rendering the wifi virtually useless.

Excellent hotel, competitively priced. Super friendly staff. Hotel is older, but updated comfortably, with everything you need. Rooms are clean, very nice pool and spa. Plenty of parking. Great location, only a few minutes to Horseshoe Bend and other Red Rock area attractions. Big free breakfast room - I'd give breakfast a 3. But it's clean.

Older style hotel that should be reclassified as motel. Our room was located at one of satellite building with room entrance facing the small parking lot. Room badly needed an upgrade. No ice machine or vending in the building, so outside trekking was needed. Free breakfast was below average. Coffee was just warm and weak. While we were eating breakfast, the food supervisor was yelling at her co-workers. Two stars for the friendly front desk workers and the fresh baked cookies they gave us.

The Best Western Red Hills is located in the heart of downtown Kanab, Utah. It is walking distance to several restaurants and plenty of shops. The staff was very friendly & helpful. They offered recommendations for dining/entertainment. The property/grounds and room were very clean. At check-in, I was offered fresh chocolate chip cookies and fresh fruit. The continental breakfast selection was great/generous...choices to satisfy all (oatmeal, cereal, fruit, egg, etc.).

Wow! For the price I was slightly unsure of what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised!! The first thing that you need to know, though, is that there are three buildings. One has an elevator, one does not and I have no information about the third. If you need a room that has no stairs to access it, ASK for one when making your reservation. The double queen room was large, extremely clean, comfortable, well decorated and bright. There are ceiling lights and floor and table lamps. The extra table has charging ports and plugs, the table lamp has plugs and of course there are standard wall plugs. Free and fast wifi. The closet and sink share an area with a mini fridge and small coffee maker. There is a sky light in the "L" shaped building on the second floor, in this area. There are also lights above the mirror. The bathroom is tiny. A toilet and shower only. No tub. There is an outdoor pool with a vending area, laundry ($2 per load in washer and the same price for the dryer), free breakfast and an EXTREMELY awesome front desk reception!

I was also hoping to "rent" a pet from the Animal Sanctuary for the duration of our visit, but alas, checked in too late for that. I'd advise anyone who wants to "rent" a pet to call in advance to understand the process and time cut-off. I loved the room. It was super cute and well-appointed for guests with pets. There were two bowls waiting near the front door, and two adorable sleeping areas - one in a cut-out in the wall, and another a pull-out trundle-style bed. The mercantile/ store was stocked with cute apparel for pet-lovers as well as items for pets. Breakfast was also served in the store in the morning - with lots of interesting and yummy options - like vegan egg bites and chia seed pudding. 10/10 recommend this place!!

The Best Place For Travelers With Or Without Pets…read more.... For our final 5 nights across the Southwest US, we stayed at the Best Friends Roadhouse. The BF Animal Sanctuary was on our schedule (at least 2 of the 4 days) and both reviews and their website looked great. Pros: - Location: Convenient, especially is you're visiting the Sanctuary. On the main road in the north part of Kanab. - Exterior: A newish looking hotel with nice views to the north and west. - Room: Excellent. Our king suite was spacious. One VERY large room included a big bedroom, a good sized kitchen and a spacious bathroom/shower/vanity. It also had plenty of space for storage and large closets. All done with contemporary Scandinavian furniture which minimizes clutter and convenient controls for lighting, ventilation and automatic shades. - Employees: Helpful. People at the reception desk and in the breakfast area/"Mercantile Shop" were all very friendly. - Breakfast: Vegan and very good. Included with the room. While it wasn't a buffet, you could order as much as you'd like. Much of it was homemade and I especially liked the "Overnight Oats". Unusual Pros: - Cats and dogs are encouraged to stay with accommodations in the room and across the property - "Barn Door" to create privacy between the bedroom and bathroom - Free laundry - Free iPad to use while in the room - Nicely equipped kitchen - Plentiful towels - Choice of full daily housekeeping, partial or none - Attractive high desert landscaping - If you'd like merchandise from Best Friends, the Mercantile Shop had everything Cons: - Bath towels for our first day were luxurious. The next 4 days were like a Holiday Inn. - Toilet paper was 1...maybe 2 ply and quite scratchy - Tissues were a bit rough - Parking was tight, especially on weekends and after 7 PM There are many places to stay in Kanab since it's a busy stop for Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, but the Roadhouse would be our only choice.

It is located near EV charging which is great! The room was clean, furnished just right and quiet even while overlooking the parking lot. Microwave included was good. My only concern was the barn door to the restroom did not fully close! It would close but then creep open! Included breakfast was good, offering a good selection of waffles, cereals, eggs, meats, fruit, and yogurt. Several fruit juices were also available. All in all, this location was on par with other Hilton properties. The constancy was there as expected and appreciated.

Several famous movie stars stayed here back in the Westerns heydays. It has a fun retro vibe with a beautiful main building that houses the breakfast area as well as lovely sitting areas. It also has a lovely, well-maintained outdoor pool but I didn't end up taking advantage of it due to rain both evenings were we there. We stayed in the "Joey Bishop" cottage, which is actually connected to another suite next door. They gave us a free upgrade to a king suite because they accidentally canceled our reservation a few days before we were scheduled to arrive (still not sure what happened there). It definitely felt like a step back in time with historic design including a sitting porch outside and a roomy living room/bedroom as well as separate bathroom. It had a large "closet" area in the bathroom that was undoubtedly historic. There was also a fun window in the bathroom that hinged on the bottom but I don't think it opens anymore after many coats of paint. Also the living room floor sloped considerably but at least it had a smooth flooring over its entirety. Outlets were quite loose and of course did not have the modern cell phone connectors so good thing we brought our own converters from home. The included breakfast was delicious especially the sausage and the breakfast casserole. Very friendly and helpful waitstaff. Had an interesting barn in the back 40; my guess is for weddings and the like. Definitely fun to stay at, but be very, very careful walking around the property if you are elderly like us because we both tripped and almost face-planted a couple of times because of numerous up and down steps (some without railings) inside and out.

It's tucked against those incredible red rock views and endless Utah skies, right on the main road through Kanab. Granted, that's not saying much because Kanab basically has two main streets, but the location is perfect for getting anywhere in town while still feeling peaceful. The best way I can describe it is that it has Airbnb personality without the Airbnb hassle. The room felt modern, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated instead of looking like it was furnished by the Hotel Beige Committee. The bed was genuinely comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the rain shower head made me briefly consider whether I should just live there now. Everything about the place was easy. Keyless entry, simple check-in, easy parking, a nice little pool out front, and lots of those small touches that make you feel like someone actually cared about the guest experience instead of just checking boxes. I booked online, although you'll also notice a QR code posted at the property if you're already in town. Either way it's as painless as booking gets. It's rare that I say a hotel actually made my trip better, but this one absolutely did. I'd stay here again without a second thought. Five stars. I'd give it a 10 out of 10, but Yelp insists on limiting my enthusiasm.

If you are ever in Kanab, a stay at the Inn is a must. Kathy's attention to her guests enhances the pleasure of staying at the inn. Her attention to detail is boundless. The coziness of the bed and bedding, along with her thoughtful care of her guests, does not go unnoticed. And, of course, one cannot compliment her breakfasts enough.
