This place hasn't been updated in far too long, the kind of hotel you would be okay paying $120 for, but we paid $291 (!!!) on a weeknight in June. What a joke! On us, unfortunately. Stay here for the weekend because it was close to our wedding venue. Worst idea we could have ever had! We booked over a year out and mentioned that we would be getting married that weekend and our entire wedding party were going to be staying there as well. We had issues from day one, my husband and I got to our room and noticed the bed had a visually noticeable dip on one side. When we laid on the bed it was lumpy and the springs of the mattress were no longer functioning properly. We called down to the front to ask for a different room or a different mattress. The woman running the front was very lovely and apologetic and told us that she would talk to the manager about what our next steps would be. The manager gave us two options 1. To cancel our reservation the night before our wedding 2. Suck it up and stay and sleep on a broken mattress and they would take $75 off our bill. Neither of these options seemed acceptable as this was the night before our wedding, so the front desk woman got creative and had us change rooms every night as the hotel was completely booked the entire weekend, but had guests that didn't stay the entire weekend. We are very grateful for the front desk staff as they were lovely. Next one of the groomsmen booked a double queen bed room for himself and another groomsmen, when they got to their room they discovered that they received a single king room. The hotel had no desire to fix their mistake, and our wedding party had to make it work amongst ourselves. Overall not worth the money, the rooms are mid at best. Worst experience I've ever had at a BW. Changed a reservation weeks in advance, ended up still being billed for 3x the correct amount. They refused to fix the error, which was on their end. Manager ghosted when trying to resolve it, only able to get it fixed by disputing the charge. Don't give any money to these crooks. read more

9/4/23 finally got an response from BW corporate. Not that it was helpful. The hotel owner did tell them he was willing to make a "one time" exception with a $250 room deposit. He felt that that exception and his "exception" to cancel the reservation and not charge me for a late cancellation fee was generous. Mind you, I made that reservation 2 months before the cat show WITH a notation in comments I was bringing 2 cats, but whatever. Worst customer service all around from Sky Valley Inn AND BW Corporate. ************* I made a reservation on 5/3/23 for my stay on 7/1. I placed in the notation I was traveling with cats. I called on the hotel directly on 6/24 at 6:42 pm and confirmed they accepted cats and I was told yes. I was attending a cat show on 7/1 and received a call from the hotel at 2:30 pm, telling me unfortunately they don't accept cats. I told the gal I had called and confirmed and that I don't know if I can find a hotel tonight and wasn't wanting to drive home. She contacted her manager. Mr. Guzman called me and reiterates they don't accept cats and no one at his hotel would say others wise. I must have called the main reservation line. Basically saying I was a liar, a couple of different times! Then he said again, no cats but for this misunderstanding, he would allow it, if I paid a pet fee, the cats were to remain in cages 100% of their stay and then he added an extortionist fee in them of an addition hefty room deposit! I'm a bit stunned reading some of these reviews! Like this couldn't possibly be the same place? Other sites have this property rated very high and that is the experience we had. The property is clean and decorated for the 4th and it looks extremely nice. The breakfast in the morning was probably the best I've come across. Including homemade breakfast burritos (both a red & green), waffles, eggs, and much more. There was a well stocked pantry to buy snacks and drinks in the lobby as well. Room was clean with a nice jetted bathtub. The pool area was closed, which was a bummer, but it looked nice and had lots of toys and floaties for kids. The people at the front desk were super nice and friendly. My impression when I left this place was that this should be the gold standard for the Best Western chain! read more

I am a professional who travels for work (not that it matters, but I want to give backstory to show that this is definitely not my first time staying in a hotel) I decided to book a suite so that I could spend time with my grandchildren. Like all kids, they just wanted to swim. The pool was closed the first day which was a big disappointment. We went to the movies instead . They were able to swim the next day but it was FREEZING COLD and they only went in for a short time (so it was back to the movies) The breakfast food is awful, but that is what you expect from a hotel buffet breakfast so I really didn't have an issue with that. We stayed for four days with no housekeeping. Whenever I leave a hotel, I clean to the best of my ability. We piled the towels in the bathtub (isn't that what you are supposed to do?!) and bagged up all of our trash. We're there crumbs left on the floor? Absolutely! What do you expect with four kids over four days and NO housekeeping provided? We left housekeeping $20 and left. Imagine my shock when I saw a $250 charge on my card!!!!!! The hotel said that they had to do a 'deep cleaning' !! I wouldn't be upset over a small additional charge, say $60 if they said they felt they needed to do a quick carpet shampoo, but $250?? They said we left a pile of towels that were getting 'moldy'. We checked out at noon.... Exactly how moldy could they get before being removed for cleaning? My daughter called to speak with the owner and he basically accused us of thrashing the room like Led Zeppelin circa 1972. They rented the room that same evening (they said they were totally booked and we called to confirm) so it's not like they even lost revenue on the room. I called Best Western corporate to complain and they basically told me that the hotels are individually owned and the owners can do and charge whatever they want. Do better, Best Western! We have stayed here many times, for several nights at a time over the past four years. The Owners are extremely kind, and the hotel keeps improving. Very clean rooms, with everything you need. The breakfast buffet is fully stocked with anything you could hope for. Great that they are pet friendly and the rooms are still perfectly clean! We had no notice we would need his room and hoped they had one available when I pulled in. The front counter person listened and took care of us. She told us that if my sister needed ANYTHING, all she needed to do was ask. As I walked to my car, the Owner / General manager came out and told me, "his family would take care of the family" and that I did not need to worry about her. I was quoted 1 rate for my Dad's Christmas stay. He arrives 12/22 and planned to depart 12/26. I called and the woman said my rate was $148.97 period. I was NOT told at anytime during our conversation that the weekend rate would be $161 and $158 dollars and that only Monday and Tuesday would be the quoted rate. When I reviewed my email and saw the discrepancy, I emailed them right back - and was told oh that was the other lady, she isn't here - this is the rate. ?? So while running errands for Christmas I stopped in to explain and straighten it out - I encountered the 2 rudest people running a hotel - I have no idea where the "friendly staff" went. The manager was rude and condescending and the lady with the long hair and accent just acts like she doesn't understand the language. I was treated so poorly, and made to feel like I made the mistake, which I didn't. I was only quoted 1 price, that should have been my price. So if you are dealing with these people, do it online and get it in writing - because if you have a conversation with a person onsite, they will make the reservation for whatever they want, they won't fix it, they will blame it on each other - and guess what - you are stuck. I suggest going 1/2 a block east to the Holiday Inn, where they truly do have "friendly, honest" people, and book your room there for a consistent single-price & lower rate. Pool, hot tub, and breakfast. You are only missing out on the rude, condescending liars here at the "Worst Western of Monroe". No one in the service industry should behave like they did. read more

I needed a place to stay in close proximity to the equestrian center/fairgrounds. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Bath towels were above average for sure. I booked thru travel up, best western never received my payment from travel up. I had to pay again for two nights . Manager was no help. room sucked light switch's didn't work mini refrig only worked on the coldest setting. Shower faucet was loose. Don't use travel Up or stay at this hotel. My bank is trying to get my funds back from travel up.travel Up won;t resond to my bank, next step is to report travel up to the feds. I've have stayed at several Best Westerns before and some are just ok... but this was BY FAR the best one I have stayed at and one of the best places I've ever stayed. First, let me say that it was especially nice for me as I love Christmas and we stayed just after New Years so please see my photos of their glorious decorations... But I am sure this is outstanding at all times of the year as they just get everything right and clearly spend a lot of what could be profit by making the property a show place. Let me list some of the small details that really added to the experience. First, the staff is SO friendly and helpful. The maid had left a darling bunny folded from a wash cloth and a note telling her name and inviting use to feel free to let them know if we needed anything. The TV remote was in a little sleeve so you'd know it was cleaned.The room was beautiful and the beds very comfortable and the TV was easy to use. There is a beautiful laundry area for guests that seems like a fancy home not just a storage room with a washer and dryer. Out in the lobby, like many hotels, there was a small "store" area. This is usually just aspirin, tooth brushes & a few candies.... But they had a HUGE selection of fabulous microwave meals, fancy bakery desserts, all kinds of beverages. Stuff I didn't even KNOW I wanted! LoL. But the REAL high point was the incredible breakfast. It was like going to a banquet! 3 giant warming dishes full of eggs,sausage, breakfast potatoes, as well as almost "brunch" type of items like enchiladas and biscuits and gravy. And again with perfect small touches: they had the waffles as they do at a lot of places but they ALSO had it in a cinnamon roll flavor. The butter was room temperature, they had gluten free bread, every kind of bagel & pastry, oatmeal ,cereal and this very deluxe machine for toasting(not a typical 2 slot toaster), the coffee was excellent with choice of flavored creamers. It is all beautifully presented right in the lobby near the fireplace and cozy couches with the desk clerk there if you have any questions. Then you can go into the charming dining room, a long rectangular room with a TV at one end , far enough away so it's quiet at the other end if you prefer the selection of news papers and magazines . It was especially magical to be here at the holidays but I can't wait to go back again. Not far from Snohomish antiquities or perfect when the fair's in town! This used to be a reasonably priced hotel. Not anymore! I was shocked when I had to pay upwards of $200 for one night at a hotel in Monroe. We've stayed here every year for about ten years and it's been between $100-$135 per night. Until now. It's a standard hotel with the basics. The room was clran and comfortable yes. But the outside grounds were not cleaned up and the lobby and elevator floors were dirty. It is overpriced for Monroe and for what it offers. Upon checkout I asked for a receipt. I was told they couldn't do they because I booked through Expedia. I always book through Expedia but never denied a receipt by the hotel. Are you serious?? David had great service at complimentary breakfast & was always around the corner coming to top off your coffee! Below is (most of) the letter I sent to Best Western Corporate about this hotel. TL/DR: The hotel reeks of marijuana and they will gaslight and lie about it. The way they acted was an absolute disgrace to the Best Western brand. At around 9:00 the morning of our arrival, we received a call from the hotel to ask if we were still planning to stay with them. Of course, we said yes and that we were still driving; it was well before check in. We were then asked if we needed the room type that we had booked (2 queen) or if we could make do with a different bed configuration. We let them know that my husband and I would like at least 2 beds for ourselves and our 2 kids, but could maybe make a 1 king work, and of course 3 beds would be even better. After hanging up, we discussed how we found this call to be a bit odd since check-in isn't until much later in the afternoon. Upon our arrival around 4:00 in the afternoon, we received our keys and went straight to the room as we needed to quickly get ready for an event that was happening that evening. As soon as we opened the door, we were struck with an overwhelming smell of marijuana. My husband immediately went to the front desk to complain and see if we could be moved to a new room. Both a housekeeper and the woman working at the front desk came back to the room to spray cleaning solution on the carpet and provide us with an air freshener. They both claimed to not smell anything and insisted it was the smell of their cleaning solution. They even called over a third housekeeper who said she didn't smell anything. Given that my in-laws were staying at the same hotel, I visited their room and found that their room had no odor. I am very sensitive to the smell of tobacco and marijuana and know that I can't stay in the room we were assigned. In addition, I didn't want my toddler and baby to be in the room either for their health. I went to the front desk this time and was confronted by who I assumed was the manager. Both he and the front desk attendant insisted that they didn't have any other rooms available. However, I did note that they had many sheets of paper laid out on the desk for people who hadn't arrived yet. I was told these rooms were already assigned and that they can't be re-assigned and given to us instead. I remembered the strange call from earlier in the morning and I realized that it was possible they had checked someone else into that room who had complained and was switched, and we were then assigned that room. They continued to insist my family couldn't be moved. I let them know that I had visited my in-law's room too and found there was no smell, so it was clearly marijuana in that specific room. The manager insisted that this was a non-smoking hotel and that no one on their staff smoked marijuana, although I'm not sure how they could be certain of that given that personal use of marijuana is legal in Washington, and they would have to drug test their employees regularly which is unlikely. He also stated that if the housekeepers identified a smoke smell when they were in a room, they immediately reported it and the guest was charged for smoking. Eventually, the manager said that he might have a room we could move to for one night but they'd have to move us again for the remaining nights of our stay. I stated that I would be ok with that because I did not want to be in that room. The manager then said he didn't really want to do that from a customer service experience perspective (which is odd given the whole situation) and all that he could do was use neutralizing fans to try to remove the smell. At this point, my family needs to get ready to leave for the event. I unenthusiastically agreed to trying the fans and let him know that we'd be out for most of the evening so they could run. As I was leaving to return to the room, the manager and two other employees went into the back office and began whispering. After I had started walking down the hall, I turned back to the front desk to ask an unrelated question, but could hear the whispered voices and they didn't come back out to talk with me. After getting ready, as my family was leaving for the event, on our way through the lobby we were stopped by the manager who said he was able to 'find' a room to move us to. It was a suite and would be an upgrade since it normally booked at "$400 a night". Since we had unpacked to get ready for the event, I quickly re-packed everything so his staff could move our bags while we were gone. Upon arriving back at the hotel later that evening, we checked into the new room and our bags were there as expected. This room had no marijuana smell, so we were happy that we finally have a suitable room. Later that evening, we noted a very strong marijuana smell throughout the hallway. We stayed at the hotel for three nights; each night the whole hotel would be permeated by the smell of marijuana. This whole experience was terrible and we will never stay there again. read more

** TWO ROOMS HAD MOLD ** I was in room 305. Initially the room was and found my heart racing as I was trying to fall asleep. Found strong mold. Showed to night manager who confirmed, thanked me for bringing to his attention, and moved me to another room on third floor. After taking a sleep aid, I woke up 2.5 hours later coughing. That room also had mold (less strong, around the bathroom vent). Moved to 3rd room, this time on second floor. Room was fine, slept fine. I asked management for some discount and instead got **BILLED AN EXTRA $150 for cleaning the rooms since they had to keep moving me because of their mold.** Front desk said their manager Alex won't call back, I just get to keep calling until maybe I happen to catch him. It's rare to find service this bad. Highly recommend avoiding. See my google review for PICS of the MOLD. Lastly, as a point of reference, as I was checking in, 25min early, they charged me an extra $20. Would have been nice to waive it but whatever, I needed to get ready early. Someone in a wheelchair was getting escorted out at 2:05. Destiny, their front desk lady was training a new lady and said they would charge them because they weren't out at 2:00pm. Kicked out because their TV wouldn't turn on, I asked them nicely to fix it, and they kicked me out with my baby and dog that just had surgery. For letting them know their TV would not turn on, the manager, who had worked for more than 24 hours while I was there, displayed very poor hygiene and was rude. They called the police on me and wouldn't let me enter the building to get my child after I was kicked out. The police had to intervene to allow me entry. This is completely unacceptable. I stay at Best Westerns while traveling most of the time this time I'm in my hometown staying here because we are moving and having our hardwood floors done so this was totally unexpected but it was close by it turns out this happens to be one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in it's clean it's courteous the breakfast is great the breakfast burritos have to be homemade because they are delicious I wish they were all like this. We are traveling back to Tennessee so I will have a lot to compare this to I hope they all live up to what this best western is like. read more

We just stayed here and we were so impressed by all the friendly staff and attention to detail and decoration. When we entered the room there was even a welcome note. When we made the reservation we did not notice that the pool use was seasonal and we looked at the place for the pool the staff was very sympathetic and kind and the manager even gave us some sweet treats to make up for it even though it wasn't his fault. We really appreciate the kindness and look forward to coming back this summer in the summer when they will have a pool and a hot tub and lots more cool stuff outside. AMAZING OWNERS & STAFF! My mother, sister & I stayed for an extended time as we were moving my mother out of state. During our stay, we we're always greeted with friendly, smiling faces, no matter what time of day and we were able uto watch the Seattle Seahawks game on the big screen in the dining/conference room on a Sunday morning. Not forgetting to mention their breakfast was beyond any hotel I've ever stayed in. We were so comfortable and welcomed, it was like staying with with our favorite aunt and uncle. He resolved a very complex reservation concern that I had spent a lot of time trying to resolve the day preceding our arrival without success. Was on hold trying to speak to a Best Western national reservation center for the better part of an hour before giving up. I had never been on hold that long with the national BW reservations call center. This was especially galling as I have been A Gold Crown BW member for over 40 years. I stayed 2 nights with my husband as we had just sold house to relocate, my husband had to drive one of our cars to Arizona then fly back, in the meantime he left his credit card open as I was still there for a few days till he got back to drive motorhome to new home. She stated I had to pay for another night,( this was about 8:30 a.m and check out time was 12:00 p.m) I said my husband's card is on file and, she said no you need to pay!! I said, I only have cash so, I gave her $149.00 plus tax in cash she then said since it's cash she needs $300.00 deposit? Keep in mind she still had husband's card) I said, well I have bank card but not enough on it but, I would go put money in the bank as there was only about $50.00 on it and then I would call her, (she already ran my card so had all my banking info and husband's!( I HAD THE CASH IN BANK WITHIN 15 MIN) I was in a rush because I had things that I had to do, same receptionist called me and asked me when I would be back HU... When I arrived back with bags of groceries in hands and my small service dog on leash, I was greater by a man manage and some other guy and same receptionist as I walked I saying how ya all doing? The manager said I front of other people in lobby, " YOU NEED TO GO GET YOUR STUFF FROM ROOM AND GET OUT OF MY HOTEL" I was completely shocked and asked why? He said " WE FOUND A PIPE IN YOUR ROOM!" I said I don't smoke a pipe and neither does my husband!! He said " YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!" I told him then you come and shoe me what you saw? HE DECLINED AND SHOUTED FOR ME IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS FROM MY HOME TOWN TO " GET UP AND GET MY THINGS NOW!" I asked him why he was in my paid room looking around? He said, " THE DO NOT DISTURB SIGN WASN'T ON? I said yes it was, he then said it was housekeeper, I said that's funny as I was just told the housekeepers don't enter rooms for any reason till you check out "Covid" I went up and noticed my $308.00 that I had was gone! When I was bringing my things to car! I said I wanted deposit back and the charge for room I paid in cash? He said, FINE AS SOON AS I GO UP AND CHECK ROOM" But wait you where already going through my paid room? I was in tears as I didn't know where I was going, he went up and came down and said " YOUR GETTING NOTHING BACK, I SAID WHY? HE SAID HE WENT THROUGH MY DIRTY LAUNDRY AND DOG PEE ON A TOWEL!!" Excuse me, he's trained to go in the bathroom on potty pad! He kept saying he was calling police, I said please do because you stole $308.00 plus $148.00 plus $300.00 damage! I waited outside on phone with husband who was irate and told me to just go to our motorhome and call police and he would deposited more money to account. He knows I have panic attacks and seizers when I get upset like this and he would handle it! Ok getting to point, I called corporate right away and they apologized and said hold on they would call him? Now he mentioned nothing about some pipe he said, It was because blood was in bathroom!!! Stupid ass, I had done a spray tan and I did it in bathtub and since I was going to stay a few nights , it all would have been cleaned!!! The truth is he knew my husband left and snuck in my room and then ripped me off. This was over 2 months ago and I have sent demand letter to him that he got and has not responded and we are taking B.W to court for a lot more then what I have said! They also kept all money!!! I think he was going through my dirty laundry and got caught by someone! Grouse pig! Corporate will answer to judge! Why did he not want to go show me some pipe of some kind? Because it wasn't there and then also police called me and said I left my laptop there? I was staying in hotel about 100 ft away but they where going to leave it at desk witch they did" WITH A SHATTERED SCREEN!!! Service at the front desk was professional and impeccable. Prices were higher than expected, but I'm sure the market must be there, as the hotel was full when I visited. The continental breakfast was good, and even exceeded the norm at Best Westerns. If I could score this place a negative 10 I would. I booked this place 3 months in advance. Have my confirmation email and all. Got another confirmation email the day before our reservation. While driving to the best western, they called to confirm we were still coming. I've NEVER had a place call to confirm. I should have known then and there something was off. When we got there to check in they said they don't have our information which is BS since they clearly had called us earlier that morning. I literally thought he was joking. He tried to blame the booking in a third party being xfinity. When they had called earlier in the morning it would have been nice to be honest right away so we could have had a chance of booking something else. I was adamant on having some kind of solution and the manager offered us literally nothing. I let him know that is considered fraud charging someone and not reimbursing. He called the cops on us to get us kicked out of the lobby. Be aware of this place. I've never had such a horrible experience. read more

I give this a one star because first they said my kid broke the water heater when she didn't because the day before she used it perfectly fine and they accused my kid. The kitchen staff was talking in the kitchen and didn't see who break the water heater and accuse her. She saw my kid press the heater water button but it was not working then my kid got accused of breaking it. If the kitchen staff blamed her that may avoid herself blamed by her manager, this made us even more angry....my kid was so sad and thought the adult was listening to her just pointing fingers on her since the kitchen lady accused her, this upset her so much since she didn't do anything wrong. Furthermore, they also charged us $45 saying that we used extra plates in our breakfast while we had breakfast at their small breakfast room. We stayed three nights there and we only went to breakfast for two mornings because the winter storm that we can't return to the hotel one night but we got charged extra plates for three nights. What a ridiculous Hotel!!! I called the hotel and left my phone number to have their manager call me back. The corporate hotel manager (customer service manager) called back and told me that the hotel put a note to my charge that we use extra plates. The hotel provides continental breakfast but we were limited to take one plate? During Pandemic time, the hotel was so cheap to charge us extra plates? I was so shocked. The manager apologized politely and promised to credit me back the $45 they miss-charge us in 10 days. Now over two weeks, I still didn't see my money back. They are wasting my time. I am warning people who want to book this hotel or this chain be very careful for their unreasonable charges. If they keep accusing their customers for something they didn't do and charge something supposed including in hotel night. They will have no customers at all. The sign at elevator saying not to bring breakfast to room and Togo is so obvious. We wouldn't miss it. But We don't see any sign saying charge extra plates. Overall, being accused and charged extra is really a bad experience. This hotel is super cheap for doing this! I don't know who took to go breakfast before to make the hotel put that notice there.....I've never seen any hotel do that for my last 20 years of travel trips! read more

Horrible stay! I paid over $250 for one night. I was put in room 106. The bed and kitchen share a wall. I was awakened just before 5 AM with banging, beeping, doors opening and closing and just busy kitchen noises. After about 25 minutes I called the front desk to ask if I could be moved. I was told they were full and to have a better morning. Well I couldn't sleep anymore not for lack to trying. The room was clean but the toilet kept running unless you giggled the handle and to flush anything you had to hold the handle down a couple times. Upon check out I was advised that hopefully my next stay would be better. read more

We had the best time at this location. We're somewhat local yet came to stay the night because my significant other was working nearby and we didn't feel like having a fun night and then driving home. The hotel manager was absolutely wonderful and not only helped me, being exhausted, get an early check in...but, was friendly and fun during every encounter in our visit and his lovely wife was equally as pleasant. Yes, They charge you to take extra food up to your room from the morning breakfast, But if you just take a moment to gather your food and sit down and enjoy it, it's one of the best complimentary hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Needed a hotel in the Monroe area. This hotel was the only one that had an available room. Should have known right then that something's wrong. Stayed anyways. Almost everything was not up to expectations with the exception of the folks who worked at the reception area. They were great! The other areas of the hotel, the cleaning, the food, the outdoors, etc., were nothing near where they should have been. Would I stay at this hotel again? Absolutely not! read more

I just got back from this place and we had a nice stay there. The room was in good order and very clean. The whole bedbug scare that is all the rage now was on my mind so I did a thorough inspection before we brought in our stuff. I found zero bedbugs and zero evidence of bedbugs. The breakfast bar in the morning was fairly complete and pretty well stocked. The make it yourself waffle thing is a nice touch. The batter must be runny for it to come out of the dispenser correctly, and I understand that. The timer is automatically set for 2:40. I think that putting the timer at 3:00 would solve the problem of the waffles coming apart. I made waffles for my kids and found that if I waited an extra twenty seconds the problems went away. The wi-fi worked just great, and the TV was very nice - much nicer than the one we have at home. I also thought the alarm clock with an input for any music playing device with a stereo headphone jack was a nice touch. The coffeemaker in the room was nice to have. I would love to see a few tea-bags thrown in, too. I was quite pleased with this place. My main complaint was that the rate advertised by the conference I was attending was not honored completely. They got close to honoring it, but there was still a ten dollar/night difference. The only reason I didn't jump off to the other conference hotel was that it was already more expensive. I found the staff alert, friendly, and accommodating. We will be back. read more

Would give a negative if I could. My mom reserved a room for me and her and it was under her name, she was paying for the room. She checked in just fine and got to the room, I went to front desk to ask for an extra key to the room, they asked for my ID which I did not have on me at the time, I asked if my partner could show his or if my mom could come down and just get the extra key herself then instead. The manager stepped in and EXTREMELY aggressively said if I couldn't show my ID then I couldn't stay at the hotel...? Which made no sense at all. I was extremely confused and he kept screaming at me louder and louder that if I didn't have and ID that I needed to leave or he'd call the police and that he had multiple cameras on me. It was so bizarre. I ended up crying and calling my mom because I felt so unsafe. She was extremely upset and we decided to just leave. When we went back to room to pack, another lady who was just a receptionist came and apologized and said she was so sorry for the way he acted. He's literally the manager and acted like this. I'm 25 and he was about 60 screaming at me. It was awful. I really hope best western does something about him, I've already complained to corporate. Oh and to top it off my bath tub spit black mold out when I started it. read more
