If I could give him zero stars, I would. I took three pair of boots in and had the soles replaced. I wore my work boots five times and the whole entire soles fell off. He overcharged me what his initial price would be and didn't even replace the shoelaces like I requested. read more

Had a great experience here 07/22/2025. Brought in some American made Danner "Power Forman" work boots for a resole. He was able to somehow make them look better than they did when I pulled them out of the box. I use these boots like a rented plow mule, and was worried they would never be the same. But they somehow fit better than before I took them in, and look great too! Dropped off my prized Danner "Elk Hunter" hunting boots after I saw the great quality of work done with my work boots. 10/10 would recommend. He was fair, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Not really sure what the problem is here but it is weird at best ! You pay for the shoe repair upfront in cash only. It may or may not be done when they promise you. Woman who is working the counter has the worst attitude of anyone I've ever seen in a retail business ! But wait , it gets better, after I tell her that, she tells the grouchy old male owner who calls me when he returns to the business. Yelling, screaming, and cussing at me the customer ! I used to like this guy but over the years his work ethic has gone MIA. Last year I paid him $20 up front to have a zipper on a jacket fixed - only to be told it was unfixable. He kept the $20 but recommended a woman who lives six miles from me for the repair. She told me it'd take a week or two. She had the jacket nearly two months and never even attempted to fix it. So, I was out 24 miles worth of gas and over an hour of phone and travel time on that one. Finally, I took some shoes into Bestway to have the soles reglued. That should have been easy enough. I wasn't happy with the "repair" or the attitude i received from this Bestway... not only did the person complain that he was going on vacation and wouldn't be able to get to my one pair of shoes for a month...but also went on to complain about the cost of the glue he was going to have to use to make the simple repair I came in for. ($20) Oh and by the way, that expensive glue he used to repair my shoes - didn't work. The first time i strapped on the shoes, the glue came loose. Do not recommend. read more

This place has good prices and pretty speedy at fixing things. So far I've taken in a Samsonite rolling luggage that needed a leg replaced and some Dansko's clog shoes, that needed some leatherwork repair. The second half of the pair was looking wornout, and he cut me a deal on getting the second half fixed for just a few additional dollars. I read some reviews about this place on another website about the owner not being the most sunshiney of people. And I do think that's true. He's not exactly super chipper, But he does get the job done quickly and a reasonable price, so I'm pretty pleased. His posted hours on Saturday are mere suggestions at times, and close to closing times on weekdays, it's been closed early. read more

Awful, just awful, they could not fix my suitcase, fine, that is what it is, but communication was terrible. One of two employees I dealt with, when I went into the store, said to me several times that she had no idea was the the situation was with my luggage since I had dealt with the other employee. I told them several times that I needed it back by a certain date. Not only did I not hear anything, when I called no one answered the phone. I went there during business hours and it was closed (no sign saying 'back in 5' or anything akin). Don't bother with them, take your luggage and shoe care needs somewhere else. read more

TERRIBLE. I have never posted a review, positive or negative, but my experience is absolutely warranted to share and I wish I did not even have to give at least one star. I have taken several items there to be repaired: shoes, luggage, etc. Each time I have visited, none of the employees have been overly friendly. Which is fine, not everyone needs to be overly kind... however, when it affects the way you treat your customers that is when it has gone too far. I went to pick up luggage that I had dropped off. Yes, I was on my phone and understand that was not the most ideal, but I was dealing with an important matter with my ailing mother. I had got the claim ticket ready to give so that it would be quick and the owner would not have to wait for me to request my luggage. I handed him my ticket... he proceeded to yank it out of my hand and then tossed the suitcase toward me. I was shocked, never had I been treated that way by ANY business. I was very upset and called later, in which the phone was answered by a female employee. I proceeded to express how inappropriate that was handled. I mentioned that yes, I was on the phone and I understand that can be a frustration, but that no customer, regardless the situation should be treated that way. She then said to me, and I quote,"Well if you're rude enough to come in on the phone, then we can treat you however we want." Following that statement she hung up on me. The man that does the work here... was honest that he couldn't repair one pair of shoes that weren't made to repair because of the manufacturers but did an amazing beautiful job putting new soles on my boots!!
