We were super excited about the show. We've always watched him on tv. Now let me say I was a lil disappointed in the snack choices; so popcorn was the choice. I live Reese pieces , water and pineapple juice. I don't drink so the alcohol was where it was. The staff was very attentive and trying to fill every order. There were so many people and they were doing their thing. The lines were long but moving quickly. I haven't been in the theater since 2008. So I did not like the seats an how close they were. I felt cramped and crowded.. The restroom was clean and the theater itself was neatly decorated and clean too. The first comedian that opened up was amazingly talented and great!!! He was funny and a principal.. I really enjoyed his and could see him again. He had the crowd cheering and laughing uncontrollably.. support this brother whenever you see him. He's worth the time. The dJ was fire he had the crowd amped up. He was dropping hit after hit getting us prepared for the show. When Ali came to the stage they erupted into applause and cheers. His mannerisms and demeanor were just characteristic and down to earth. He was funny and my side was hurting from all the laughing. We paid for the meet and greet and the line was long but worth the wait. He was so cool in person and love his fans. I would love to come and see him again.

I will say it's a small theater with limited seating. If you come later, there's a chance you'll have to stand for a show. It does get a bit stuffy and hot on some nights, but seeing people try out improv is worth it. There seems to be a lot of various classes to take including, but not limited to, improv, comedy, and puppetry. Our seats were front row balcony and I'm normally afraid of heights. When I first got to our seats i felt kind of woozy but before the end of show I was over my fear. They have 6 rows of padded seats on both sides of the performance space for this production. This play was titled Willy/Nicky based on historical correspondence between Kaiser Wilhem of Germany and Czar Nicholas of Russia (both were cousins and grandchildren of Queen Victoria of England). It covers the time period before, during and after World War I. It included the "Mad Monk" Rasputin. Lots of sexual innuendo with Rasputin portrayed as a draq queen. A funny and thought provoking play.

It is fun to see big productions like Cats or Phantom of the Opera on Broadway or in larger venues, but it is more engaging to sit 15-20 feet from the stage and feel as if you are part of the action. We tried the Curious Theatre for the first time this fall, and loved their production of "The Minutes" (always enjoy Tracy Letts). We returned for the wonderful production of "Letters to Suresh" as well a month later. The theater uses an old church so every seat is great, street parking is easy, and there are fun food options within a block - we enjoyed Zeps Epic Sandwiches and Torchys Tacos, coffee at Cherry Bean Coffee, and will try Eiskaffee on our next visit. Definitely worth a visit!

Beer, pre-mixed punch, and shots should be quick for inexperienced bartenders to support.
