Inspire Talent is not an agency it is acting lessons and connections. If you are okay paying a 1-2 grand for that then I am sure they are a great organization. The one star is because of their shady tactics. They send over a script a couple days before to have your child start practicing for their "audition" when in reality there is no audition it is just a tactic to get your child pumped up on the idea of being a star. I can almost guarantee that all the children who "audition" are given a call allowing them to sign up for the classes. It wasn't until about 8:30pm on a school night when the "auditions" started. I was called the next day and told that 2 of my children were a yes and 1 was a maybe they just needed to talk to him and see if he was committed. They set up an appointment for me to come back that night to discuss further, again a school night. I dragged my children back again for our appointment and was made to wait an hour while they finished their other appointments ( I saw a lot of the people from the night before) . After 45 minutes of waiting I asked if I could see someone else since the lady I had an appt with was busy and I saw that the owner wasn't doing anything and still no one came to me. Since it was getting late again I left much to the disappointment of my children who thought they were special and were going to be movie stars. This happened a couple of months ago and I decided not to leave a review then but yesterday I saw one of their Facebook ads for another audition so I left a comment about how it wasn't worth showing up unless you were willing to spend some serious money for acting classes and my comment was deleted and I am unable to leave another comment. I will save this review in case they manage to get this deleted.

They say all the right things and lure you in with pomises of stardom, training and all their access to the industry. But then they will ask for money up front by pitching you their package. These packages are in order to "train" you and are thousands of dollars! That's how you know that they are a rip off. When they ask for money up front, just walk away. This is one of those 'legal scams' because they do offer a service for a price. They may even get you an agent! But don't be surprised when you don't hear back from them. They sell you based on your lack of knowledge about the industry. You should NEVER have to pay that kind of money just to be represented by an agent. An agent recieves 10-15% of what you get paid for jobs. Therefore agents have an incentive to find you work. The other reg flag is that Inspire Talent is missing from the list of 'Professional Representatives' on the SAG-AFTRA website. That means that the industry itself doesn't even recognize Inspire as a legit agency! It is a competitive industry and the advice from reputable agencies for local training is to take classes at the Denver Center for Performing Arts. Don't let the intoxicating feeling of potential fame and fortune lead you down the wrong path! Thanks for reading and be smart!

However, he has been highly unprofessional with me. He frequently does not do what he says he will do - especially if I asked him to do it. He doesn't communicate well. His responsiveness is unreliable. He sometimes dropped out of contact for days - when we were up against deadlines. He is unorganized in scheduling lessons, many times I didn't know my lesson time until the day of, making it impossible to schedule the rest of my day. And now ultimately, he has ghosted me over a disagreement about an advanced lift he wanted to get me into. I didn't feel safe. I told him so. I requested we work it in a supported environment. He agreed, but never followed through. This lead to an argument, after which he has refused to communicate. I paid for 16 lessons for the month of August, and only got six lessons before the disagreement. He still owes me for 10 lessons, and has, as of today (almost a month and a half later), refused to acknowledge any of my communications, or my requests for a refund.

This studio offers a lot of options from several professional teachers who teach a variety of ballroom dance styles, group classes for beginners and for those who are interested in competing, as well as a group cardio class with dance steps incorporated. I've seen people come in who are interested in learning more social dance skills, those who want to create that special dance during their wedding, those who want to perform as a solo act, and those who want to compete all over the nation. Everyone here is super friendly and social (even to the awkward introverts like me). It's definitely a welcoming environment and I'm so happy I found them.
