I never thought that I would find anyone that could equal the person that I have been going to in Massachusetts for at least 15 years much less better the experience. She was very personable and has just the right amount of quiet and talk during the massage. Like magic, she zeroed in on the areas that needed the most intense work and the areas that needed a gentle touch. It is obvious that she is very knowledgeable about human anatomy and physiology. Came here on a Groupon for an hour couple massage. Called ahead to make an appointment and the girl was flexible with time. The establishment is a cute little house on the side of the road on a small road. We got there early and the masseuse ladies were finishing up with a couple before us. They quickly reset the rooms after the previous couple left. We had Evelyn and Anna. I asked for their names since they didn't introduce themselves. The room is big and the blankets were fluffy and plush. The beds were about twin sized but was a bit hard. I think they were wooden cause I could hear the other one squeaking during my massage. Also the walls are rather thin cause I could hear the washing machine in the other room. The music was on but not always loud enough to cover the sounds. I had Evelyn and she did a pretty good job with the massage. She apologized for her cold fingers. Her style was long strokes and specific concentration on small areas. She uses her knuckles a lot and the pressure was decent. One thing I had a little problem with was her nails were a bit long. It distracted me from the relaxing muscle tension release cause I would feel her nails grazing my muscles and scratching. Wendy, which I think is also the owner, only cares about your money. I went in there for a massage and she was the one that did it to me. I knew it was supposed to be a Swedish massage, and I've had many before, but all she did was rub my back. It was almost like if she was trying to spread the massage oil constantly. No pressure AT ALL. Swedish massages are supposed to have light to medium pressure. I had neither. They even gave hs a paper to circle on the part of our body that need most work: I circled my lower and upper back, and thats where she applied the LEAST pressure. Sly business tactic to get me to upgrade, so when I asked her about the pressure she said I could "upgrade" to Deep Tissue for 25$... really?? You're not even doing the first massage correctly. On top of that, at the end of the session, she forced a gratuity on me!! She then kicked me out of the establishment as fast as she could by saying "Thank you for coming bye now" with a really bad attitude. Not only was the massage terrible, she was very condescending. Choose somewhere else to go to, since they've reopened after the Covid-19 shutdown, they are money hungry. And I am talking about Wendy especially. The other employees are decent. read more

My neck still hurts to the point I can't turn it without cringing, and of course I am not happy with the response I got here that basically justified everything they did and makes me sound like a fool. That's never a good approach to an unhappy customer. Yes, the pressure to my neck wasn't applied, but for some strange reason Elaine turned my head into a very uncomfortable position on the bed while massaging my arms. First left, then right, each side for about 5 mins. Again, my mistake was to trust her as a specialist, as I am used to do in such spas. I am guessing she pulled something in the neck keeping me in that position. I wish I knew about the doctor's note they mention here beforehand, because I would have provided it. I've never heard about any restrictions for hip massage during pregnancy - that's a common sore zone for many pregnant women, and after all my other prenatal massages I feel great for at least a week. I had to ask for pillows, they weren't offered before I asked and I had to lie on my back for quite a bit in the beginning. In the end we did say that my husband loved his deep tissue with Evelyn, that is true. I politely didn't say anything about my massage, in the hopes that they know better what they're doing, and I'll feel better afterwards. I'm still sore and still have to schedule another massage. Waste of money and a very negative experience afterwards. read more

Much needed after weeks of exams.. although it probably wasn't a good idea to get a full body massage after hardcore kickboxing, it was still somewhat relaxing. My masseuse was Evelyn, my friend recommended me to her and he went with Wendy. We found a Groupon+student discount code and the couples massage was only $75 for the both of us. Which is sweet deal. They also give you 20% first time clients! They also have reasonable prices compared to other massage places. Durning my massage, Evelyn was quick to ask me how I like the pressure and what not. On the paper that we filled out, I circled certain spots on my body and she definitely focused on what I asked. She uses mostly kneading if you like that but you need to let her know if it hurts or not because sometimes it can be very rough. All in all, she helped me feel comfortable and relaxed at the end of the massage. The essential oils are a plus, I like how she made me inhale the oil on the paper to help me relax. We were also offered water which is nice and refreshing. I think what would be nice is if they added like fruits or cucumbers or lemons to make it more refreshing in a way. Don't be fooled by the location, although it looks like a small sketchy house, the inside was quite comforting and home-like. The bathrooms were clean and everything was well put together. read more

A massage is just what I needed to end my last day in Florida. We found this place thru groupon since we were tired out from the week we had celebrating my birthday. We decided we needed a very much deserved massage. So we found this place! We were actually 20 mins late to our appointment. We had to call to tell her we were lost but from what the gps says ... we're 7 mins away. She didn't seem to happy with it cuz i think they closed at 6p and our appointment was at 5p with an hr massage scheduled, BUT she didnt give us an attitude. She said its fine that they will still take us. As we got there, they were very friendly. They asked us to sit and fill out some paperwork. There were only 2 chairs and 3 of us. The receptionist, who also was a masseuse, brought out another chair for my friend. Then they took us to our rooms and gave our massages. The masseuse i had was Elaine. She did a wonderful job. Im a very tensed person and all my stress goes to the back of my neck. She worked it and my whole body feels good. They had minimal conversation, the music was low and soothing, and the chairs we laid on were so comfortable. I do suggest for those with long hair to tie it up. My hair got caught to the seat twice. Walked away with just alil less hair lol but not their fault. If we do go back to Florida and we're nearby again ... ill definitely go back to this spot. I feel so refreshed!! As a long time athlete and weightlifter, I've always had a difficult time finding a therapist who can give a good deep tissue massage. More often than not, I get a deep tissue massage that feels more like a Swedish massage. Just not deep enough. Occasionally, I've gotten a massage that was deep, but not soothing, that just didn't hit the spot. After sampling a few massage therapists in the area, so far I've found Evelyn to be the best at deep tissue. My massage with her was penetrating and therapeutic, but also relaxing. I didn't walk out feeling like I'd just survived a train wreck. The only thing I didn't like was at checkout. There was a little too much pressure to book another appointment. I had to say no three times. My schedule can change by the hour. I need to book when I know I'll be available without having to worry about having to call to change an appointment. Or worse, being billed for canceling too late. I probably would have knocked off a half star for the sales pressure if I could have, but didn't want to take a whole star because the massage was fantastic. But checkout is part of the overall experience and should be just as comfortable for the client as the massage itself. read more

Had a couple's massage here today and I upgraded mine to the prenatal massage. My husband and I were so incredibly relaxed afterwards and I really felt like she did wonders for my circulation as I have been extra swollen lately and left with a glow and feeling wonderful. I was nervous getting a prenatal massage as I wasn't sure if I would truly be able to relax with how much my baby is constantly kicking me and having a more difficult pregnancy in general that brings with it a lot of consistent discomfort. I was however truly able to relax and loose the aches and pains. My husband just about fell asleep and genuinely enjoyed being pampered for an hour and his muscle aches worked out since he has been exercising more lately. I received a deep pore facial from Ana Paula. This is by far the best facial I've gotten anywhere (up against Chicago and NY spas). I don't have enough good things to say about her - she made my skin clear, and even after a through extraction there was no inflammation. No redness. People are now commenting on how nice and glowing my skin is. Ana also recommended products to me to use after the facial. The atmosphere was great and she went almost a half hour longer to give me special attention(I was her last client of the evening). Thank you, Ana! My husband and I love this spa! We go frequently for a "Side by side" deep tissue and the staff is well trained and incredible. The pressure of our massages is always perfect and they always make sure we are comfortable and enjoying the experience. I have had some of the best massages of my life here. Disappointed. Have been to many spa's. Chose to try a couples deep tissue massage here and wound up being a mild Swedish massage. When we questioned the type of massage at the end, we were first told that "it was booked as a Swedish massage" and when I reminded them that I specifically asked for deep tissue and additionally my wife even asked therapist to go deeper during the massage. The response changed to "we did a deep tissue and we would not up-charge you for that". When we said that it wasn't even close to deep tissue the response changed again to "the therapists were not strong enough to do deep tissue". Finally we were offered to come back and pay for another session and the owner would personally perform the message, which we politely declined. I think there was a total lack of communication, as neither therapist talked to us at all before (or after) regarding areas of concentration or type. If you like Swedish massages then they are OK here, but don't expect any deep tissue or good sports related massages. read more
