We did one phone consult and thereafter had an in person appointment scheduled, the provider then canceled on us last minute and we have since then been unable to schedule anything because the front desk tells us they will have to call us back every single time we call. Not sure how your front desk staff can't even book an appointment? All that money paid and we have never even been seen. I requested a refund via email and no one responded! First of all, I am pregnant and I informed two women…read moreI spoke with over the phone on two different occasions while I was deciding dates on my first appointment and announced it again at the front desk when I showed up for my first appointment and ALSO, filled it out on my intake form...."I'm Pregnant" They called me back to the room and put me on a body scanning device-- I asked, "Is this was safe for pregnancy?" and she hurried me off of it after I had already been on it for a good 45 seconds. I asked the NP Ashley if that was harmful , to which she replied "I'm not sure, but better safe than sorry." Which was a little unsettling for me. I thought to myself "You don't know...?" Moving on to my next concern...I have spent well over $2,000.00 for testing and 2 appointments with KALE, I was prescribed supplements for my gut issue, picked them up and started taking them a month ago. After taking my supplements for a month, I received a phone call a few days ago saying they prescribed me the wrong supplement and that I need to order a different one instead. Well, of course this raised another red flag because I'm pregnant and there are MANY things I cannot take while pregnant. I asked if there were any negative side effects to taking this supplement while pregnant that could harm the baby - and the guy on the phone was not sure and would have to ask the doctor. So I looked it up online and It is NOT recommended for women while pregnant. Received a phone call back and he informed me it was ok.....Are you guys just trying to save your ass? The third issue that arises is that I have food sensitivity to beef and they told me to put beef tallow on my face for skin issues I'm encountering. Mind you, this was prescribed before the results came in...but does no one go over the files of their patient to make sure things are still copacetic after results are in? I'm just dumbfounded. I don't even know if it would affect me the same as ingesting it, but geez. Come on guys. I really wanted to like this place. I understand we are human and all make mistakes, but these are not small mistakes especially when a woman is carrying another life inside of her. At this point, this is just negligence on KALE FUNCTIONAL'S side.

Ashley was attentive to my concerns about my health, ordered the right tests for us to get answers to the health problems I was experiencing, and was mindful of my budget with all of her recommendations on supplements and testing that were necessary for the insights needed. She has been very responsive and helpful with changing direction of some of these recommendations as we get more data. With Ashley's help, my cortisol levels and insulin resistance issues have decreased, and I have seen some big changes in how I feel and my overall self-esteem. Your private infrared sauna booth is within a private room itself, and because of the design, the booth is not claustrophobic at all! There's Bluetooth so you could listen to your own music/podcast and the temperature/timer settings are clear and easy to adjust. Towels and a floor mat are provided and a cold washcloth wrapped around a big ice cube is thoughtfully prepared for you on the bench in the room for your face. Parking- shared lot in the back. And you take the small alley to get to the front entrance. I don't think you can get inside it from the back lot. Service- I had my class with Charla she was good, very precise. It was only 4 people in the class, so it was very individualized, like a semi private class, she offered verbal assist. The room was small. This may be intentional for a more intimate experience. I brought an empty water bottle with me to fill up before class. But found out they do not have a water station. Then the staff member said they do have bottled water available. I declined because I assumed she meant purchasing bottled water. But after she said bottled water was complimentary when you sign up for a class. I wish she would have just led with that, if that's the case.
