For those of you who live in the South-East part of Houston, and who love Health Foods / Organic…read moreGrocery, here is one listing that for some reason is missing from Yelp. Judging from their website, they must be associated with Nature's Market (another listing that I added). By the way, this website offers the option to purchase online, which is convenient. I will try to review this store more thoroughly- but for now, at least I wanted to add it to our Yelp directory. Check it out!

I've been going here for years ever since they had the location on Fuqua St. and I have never,…read moreNEVER, had their employees follow me around in the store. But as soon as they move the new location off the Beltway 8 near HEB. One of their employees, the cashier; follows me around in the store. I always come in and buy the same thing I've been buying for years. I didn't confront them and ignored it at first. If he does it again, I will confront them. It's normally the cashier or someone standing near the cashier. I'm AA woman and I don't appreciate being followed around the store as if you think I'm going to steal. I haven't stole and I won't start. That's not my forte. Get off my back and let my skin breathe. I want to be able to walk around the store like I've been doing for many years and don't need you to follow me like some creep. About the pills, they have a wide selection and it's still expanding. I only get one certain pill and like everything else it's gone up. It used to be $15 a box now it's $23 a box. Oh my he-ba jebbies? I want to continue to come back and not have this hiccup ruin my time here. Rod!!

Dr. Wu is simply THE BEST! He treated me over 6 years ago after dealing with severe back pain. I…read moreshowed up to his office and could barely walk but I walked out of his with a pep in my step! I honestly and absolutely felt NO pain!!! It was truly unbelievable the quickness of my recovery which was so unexpected. Dr. Wu is professional yet kind and charismatic, he wears a genuine smile and he's such a pleasure to talk to. He makes you feel comfortable and at ease removing any anxiety one may have with the thought of acupuncture. I have now returned for a new issue after all of these years. Dr. Wu remembered me and he was the same as I remembered him. He assessed me and confirmed my suspicion of sciatica. After the assessment, he honestly told me that sciatica is hard to treat but he would work on me. He suggested a treatment of cupping and acupuncture. I agreed and am pleased with the result of lessened pain and the ability to walk without feeling the shooting pain from my lower back down my leg. Dr. Wu suggested 3 treatments total and I'm looking forward to seeing him again soon. I'll be back with an update after my next visit .

I'm writing - finally - today because I ran into an old friend that told me how great I looked…read morecompared to when I last saw him a year ago. I said, "Acupuncture!" He told me, "That stuff's amazing! The best guy I know is on Shepherd..." I cut him off for both of us to harmonize, "Dr. Wu!!!" And then we had a moment, mainly with him saying, "I told you so..." I have multiple autoimmune diagnoses which were causing my entire body to stop working properly. I was at a point where I was almost completely disabled. Dr. Wu is nothing short of a miracle for me. This review is overdue but it's hard not to write a book here, so I'll be brief. I went in for something small, not expecting much. But 4 months later, I had gotten my life back. I have many things that I have to do to keep my autoimmune disorder in check, but acupuncture is the one thing that I cannot do without. And when I went in, it was for foot and tailbone pain, not autoimmune issues. I want to reiterate: I went in with no idea what would happen. Two weeks of appointments, the incredible progress started, systemwide. A few months later, I still don't know what happened. But, when I don't go, I can literally feel the pain and lethargy crawl back. I respond well to acupuncture. You may not get the results that I did. But, if you're not responding well to traditional medicine and have chronic nagging issues (inflammation, pain, malabsorption, mysterious diagnoses), I suggest you try acupuncture with Dr. Wu for at least a month, preferably two. You may find that you get your life back, too.
