She did ask some questions about my skincare and skin concerns, but some of the responses to my answers made me feel a bit embarrassed and self-conscious about my skin rather than supported or educated. As someone new to facials, I was hoping for more guidance and encouragement rather than feeling like my skin was being judged. When it came to the extractions, some of them felt quite forceful and were pretty painful. The pressure used felt a bit aggressive at times, and the way the towels were used on my face also felt a little rough rather than soft and soothing. Because of that, I didn't necessarily enjoy the process as much as I had hoped. That said, I do love how my skin feels a few days afterward--my skin definitely looks and feels refreshed. I just wish the experience itself had been gentler, more communicative, and a bit more reassuring for a first-time facial.

Why not offer a price list for a shorter massage? Why be so ugly? Please don't waste your time or money on this business, they don't care. Unprofessional and petty. It was not a good vibe. After my last massage here, I'm done…read more The communication is terrible. Every appointment starts with about a 10-second conversation about what hurts, and then the massage begins. There is no effort to clarify the exact pain location, explain the treatment plan, or make sure the massage matches what you asked for. My most recent massage was with Angela. I specifically showed her the exact area of where my chronic pain is and asked for that to be the focus. I understand working around the pain target is part of the process, but when a client specifically points to the area they want worked on, that request should be respected. Instead, very little time was spent on the area I actually came in for. Angela yawned throughout the entire hour long session. There were also numerous periods where it felt like she completely stopped massaging me. Her hands would stay in one spot with little to no pressure. The front desk experience was no better. The blonde woman with her hair slicked back in a bun was rude, dismissive, and acted like basic questions were an inconvenience. This is extremely disappointing when someone is dealing with chronic pain and spending money to hopefully relieve some of that pain. Unfortunately I won't be back.
