Avoid if you're not into loud noises as the work space is a little small and others and their crafts will be making lots of noise! (Especially the hammer for the leather works!) I've never had a drink here I didn't love, but the espresso martini especially is one of my favorites in the city. Really mellow flavor and very foamy. After a few days you can pick up your beautiful item!! I can't wait to pick up line! I will post that picture later!! Lindsey was a doll and set everything up for us. On top of all that, I forgot my plates, cups, wine opener, napkin... Pretty much everything at home! And she dug around to find all of that for us. Happy Dance Quilting was different than the other quilting services I was considering because they use a mosaic style design. Other companies only use a fixed square size, which won't always fit large graphics. On the other hand, HDQ cuts out the best parts of the shirts/graphic sweaters to include in your quilt. It's very personalized and they will work with you to make sure you are completely happy with your quilt! I was able to pick the color, add an embroidered message, and even have a voice in the design of the quilt. I am so so happy with my quilt and it is something I will cherish forever! So thrilled with my two quilts!!! My husband passed unexpectedly 2 years ago, so I HDQ make a…read morequilt for each of my daughters! The result was beyond my expectation. Priceless! I chose the shirts that my husband wore the most plus, things that he enjoyed doing and those that reflected his personality. (I created a paper map of the quilt and why the shirt was chosen, so my girls would have the context.). HDQ is not the cheapest, but durability was way more important to me than price. I wanted to blanket to last as the shirts can never be replaced. The real quilting to pull the layers together is critical, so the blanket can be washed repeatedly. I want the girls to be able to curl up with the blanket and use them. Not just put the blanket in a drawer to preserve it.
