Price: $85 per hour, and there's a discounted rate of you go for longer, which I couldn't imagine. Unique: Betty is a small lady and tends to massage more lightly unless you say something. However, she has put rails on the ceiling of one massage area to walk on your back, which is pretty novel. Keep in mind English is her 2nd language, and she's the only masseuse at this place so there's no one else to answer the door (resulting in interruptions as another reviewer mentioned). I came for a massage because I had a very painful kink and needed a focused attention on one spot on my back. I told her that's what I wanted when I came in. She avoided it for a while until I reminded her of that painful spot. She actually at one point deeply massaged the bone at the top of my spine. I told her it hurt and that it wasn't muscle and she said it was good for me. I thought maybe I was wrong, because I'm not a massage therapist, turns out she was wrong. It didn't feel like a pro massage. I wish I researched her business more before going. This was a surprise from my boyfriend because he knew I was pain. Unfortunately I'm in more pain now after my bone massage. She was very rough on my neck too, which, after researching is also dangerous. I wouldn't trust her again. After being in a lot of pain this morning (spinal pain), I did all my research, and looked into ALL the reviews. I found a forum that I really wish I saw before going in. My long-time therapist retired and I wanted to find a new one closer to work. Found Betty Massage Therapy on Kijiji. I called and arranged a 60 minute treatment. The location is a house, but the surroundings were clean, organized and bright. The first massage that Betty gave was ok. She was concerned about the pressure and attended to the areas that needed work. She did leave the room 3 times and was returning texts during the course of the hour. All-in-all the first trip was about a 3 out of 5. Now although my first experience was mediocre, I thought I would give her a second chance. The second time I went there, Betty's style of massage had dropped off dramatically. Much less energy and certainly more distracted with answering the door and phone. This was not a good experience when I'm paying for the time.This second experience was a 1 out of 5. I will not be going back. Lack of consistency and lack of attention will be her downfall. read more

Looks like she took this home and made it a business. I didn't park in front her house and I had to go move my vehicle and the as the neighbors called and complained (I was 6 houses down). I had to use the alley access and park behind the house. If I can barely understand someone that ok as long as they know what they are doing. I told her I like a firm massage but it was still to light. The phone would ring and she has to attend to that 3 times. I don't like being interrupted for the time I'm paying for.
