The shop has a surprisingly large stash of nice wines -- we didn't examine them in detail, saving that for our next visit -- and spirits that include products from Litchfield Distillery as well as some uncommon bottles of bourbon and gin that some larger shops in larger cities don't seem to stock. We were impressed. The shop also carries a number of distinctive cheeses, although when we were there it was a few weeks before "cheese season" gets underway. The space is very clean and attractive, and the owner offered welcome good advice about purchases. Bottom line: We liked very much what we saw but will have to return later to be able to offer a more detailed review.

Shop is small, but selection of wine & various beer, cider and spirits was surprisingly wide. Loved the little tags on the wines in the chilled cooler describing the facets of each bottle. The store shares the back parking lot of Northville IGA. The store has advertisement for various products, and inside you have about four aisles for wine and liquor, with beer in the back. They have a few shelves of really expensive wine, lots of shelves of about $20 or less wine, and my preferred sweet spot of about $40 a bottle had a shelf or so. I did find something (fathers day was coming up), and the cashier confirmed my choice in acceptablness. The clerk at the front knew exactly what I was talking about, but unfortunately was out of stock. He called the bigger store and they also were out of stock. Like everything else, there is apparently shortages with certain beer. He took my name down and said he will call me as soon as it's available. Said he will also contact their sales rep and see if they could speed it up a bit. Great customer service, very friendly, plenty of parking spots in the front. I have bought from here before and the prices are great. Very convenient if you live off Route 202 or 67 in New Milford.
