RUN! So-called Dr. Gina Jiang gave me a second-degree burn (see four attached pics) after placing what she said was a special root in a container on my stomach. While left unattended and in mid-meditation, it fell and burnt my upper thigh (inches from my vagina), other parts of my leg, and my buttocks. When I jumped up and screamed, the root fell off my leg, onto the bed, burnt a hole into the sheets and towels. Dr. Jiang did NOT have a first aid kit to help me as I was in serious pain. She left me alone again to tend to a patient as I screamed in pain. And upon her return, she placed alcohol, a cotton ball, and a band-aid on my burn which pulled the skin off. I later found out this is a major no-no for dealing with burns. When I finally rushed out of the office and to CVS to buy my own over-the-counter burn Medicine (and later went to urgent care where I had to be prescribed something for the 2nd-degree burn), the nurse at Urgent Care was so horrified by this story she suggested I contact a lawyer! Dr. Jiang texted directly after I left her office to urge me to come to my next appointment. I never returned. If she can't handle a burn, how on Earth can she properly handle anything else? Yikes! She never reached to me after that day to check on me. Not once. I now have a horrible scar on my upper thigh. A forever reminder of the horrifying experience that was so scary, and traumatic that I have not been back to another acupuncturist. But when I got up enough courage to research another, he told me that Dr. Jiang broke the law by having me fudge my documents to make sure the reason I went to her would be covered by UnitedHealth. Stay away from this woman. There are MANY others around town, acupuncturists who can handle a burn or not burn you in the first place. You've been warned! RUN! read more

Dr. Xiao Jiang is first of all, extremely rude and untrustworthy. I called to make an appointment and let her know this was my first time. Also to get more information about the service, as well as payment details. She told me it would be $40 copay and I'll need to come in so she can explain everything about the service and annoyingly said she didn't want to do it over the phone. Ok, I understand that. I had a feeling to cancel the appointment but decided to give her a chance despite her short tempter. It doesn't matter that she's an awful person as long as the service is good, but I didn't even get to that part. When I came in, she said that I would have to pay $40 copay and an additional $40 for a consultation. I calmly asked her why didn't she tell me that information over the phone, and she laughed and said, "It's common sense! It's common sense!!". She acted like a crazy person. At this point, I realized she's unstable and was not comfortable with proceeding. I will keep an eye on my insurance for wrongful charges, because she is either crazy or shady, or both. DO NOT GO TO THIS UNETHICAL SO-CALLED DOCTOR! The only thing Xioa Li Jiang cares about is money. She has zero ethics. Her clinic is dirty, cold and the table that I had to lay on had two small towels with holes in them! The carpet of the treatment room looked like it had never been vacuumed. More importantly, I went in for pain relief and came out with much more pain and four days later, I am still in worse pain. She forced me to pay a co-pay amount even though I had already met my deductibles and did not need to pay anything. My insurance company called her to inform her to refund me the co-pay amount but Jiang yelled at the representative and hung up, lying that she will send me a check even though I used my credit card. She said she didn't have my address even though I filled out her medical form which has my address. How foolish and small-minded of this woman to risk so much and behave so unethically for $20.00. My insurance company has filed a complaint against her and I want to make sure no one else gets hurt or taken advantage of by this unethical, greedy woman. Shame on you! read more

After a slip and resulting disc bulge, one of the Physical Medicine doctors (spine specialist) at Kaiser referred me to Dr. Jiang for acupuncture. I have been going to see her for weekly treatments. I do not take pharmaceutical pain killers -- I much prefer to manage the pain and inflammation with acupuncture and cupping. I recently broke a bone in my foot (what the heck is going on with me??), and Dr. Jiang prescribed herbs for the acute trauma, in addition to the acupuncture. (I've also bought herbs for sinusitis, and to boost my immune system.) She seamlessly bills my insurance and I take care of the co-pay at each visit. There's free two-hour parking in the Beverly Hills Tennis structure across Gregory Way. Dr. Jiang always has a room ready at the time of my appointment (hardly ever have even a few minutes in her waiting room), and she cranks the heater up for me on chilly mornings. I first went to her in 2003 for treatment of my chronic fibromyalgia. Other than a slight needle prick, the treatments were pain free and very relaxing with no bad side effects.
