I found Dr Cho on Yelp and I am so happy I did. I had previously gone to a different acupuncturist a few weeks before, but I was not seeing any results. I wanted to give acupuncture one more shot, and I went to Yelp like I have done many times before. Dr Cho had great reviews and he was close by. When I met Dr Chi he was both professional and very compassionate. He took a look at my MRI results and came up with a treatment plan. I rarely write reviews unless I'm getting something free out of it, however this time that's not the case ha! I genuinely owe so much thanks to Dr. Cho and the amazing masseuse's he has. I go to Dr. Cho because I have PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome), aka my hormones are out of whack and I rarely get my period. However 9 out of 10 times I go to Dr. Cho for my symptoms the next day I'll start my cycle. It's actually INSANE. The first couple times I was like "this is just luck" but then it kept happening....so yes I'm a FIRM BELIEVER that acupuncture really really works. I also recently started boxing and my wrists have gotten really sensitive so I went to him and got treatment for PCOS as well as something for my wrists and not even two days later my wrists feel like they're completely back to normal with barely any pain or sensitivity. Dr. Cho truly has a gift. I have been dealing with hip pain for over a decade, getting x-rays and physical therapy to address the pain to no avail in the long term. Dr. Cho immediately identified the issue on the first visit, noting that I had been misdiagnosed. Instead, he noticed I have an issue with my TL Junction and even after just two visits, the pain is nearly gone. I can't believe it! He and his team are incredibly thoughtful, kind, and thorough, always checking in on you and your comfort. They make you feel like you're the only patient and tend to your concerns. My insurance also takes acupuncture care seriously and Dr. Cho already spoke with them prior to arrival, so that when I got there, he could manage expectations on what my care plan would look like and how it works with my insurance. I was a patient of Dr. Cho's about 5 years ago and I decided I needed to start going back to see Dr. Cho, but since there has been a change in the office staff Dr. Cho has lost a patient. Love, love, love Dr. Cho. Been seeing him for acupuncture for several months to help with side effects from chemotherapy induced neuropathy in my hands and feet. I have seen significant improvement since seeing him. He does a pretty comprehensive evaluation of medical history and literally asks what issues you have from head to toe. The assistants in the office are nice, pretty easy to get an appointment, they are open on Saturdays but closed on Thursdays. Best of all, they take insurance! They also have massage therapists on hand and some people get both acupuncture and a massage. Dr Cho himself is very knowledgeable and explains everything. Dr. Cho is magic!! I have been his patient for the last 4 months. Luckily with my insurance, Health Net, I have unlimited session at a low rate!! I make it every week, if I miss a session or 2 I can feel the difference in my body and energy. I originally went to see him for a complex cyst on my right ovary and possible endometriosis. I was a bit nervous for my first few session but it only took me a few to get used to the needles. 9/10 I don't feel anything! He does a great job explaining normal sensations and then feelings you shouldn't have. No question is to silly to ask. He is very attentive and makes you feel as comfortable as he can. He will check on you at least 4 times through out your hour session. The daily pain I was having from my endo and cyst has drastically decreased (I rarely feel any pain, if I do it's from something I ate or over exercising), my energy has gone up and I am genuinely in a better mood, feeling light. As I said before I initially went in with 2 concerns but realized that the sinus problems/daily allergies I woke up every morning for 15+ years went away after about 6 session. Another great thing to note is that a little half way through my time with him I was told the type of cyst I had would only stay the same size or get bigger, it wasn't possible for the cyst to shrink or go away on it's on ( a dermoid cyst) and that I would most likely need surgery. I held off scheduling a surgery and monitored it for a few months, sticking with my acupuncture sessions. My last ultrasound report, from a week ago, showed that the cyst has actually shrunk....... God bless this man....I have not found a cure for my eye problem in almost 4yrs. I've been to many doctors including eye specialists that couldn't figure it out. Spent thousands of $ and no answers.
