I was really terrified all my life of plastic surgery and when I was researching doctors it was…read moreeven worse because every time I spoke to an office I always felt like an agenda was being pushed or these crazy unbelievable results were being heavily pushed towards me. Offices were spam calling me back daily or bombarding me with emails like ad agencies lol. Or that typical tiktok "this doctor has THIS special technique" which felt sooo gimmicky and fake. I never felt like I really got to see PS doctors as medical providers and get to speak to them without the shiny Beverly Hills facade. Plastic surgery does have this trendy side.. i get it. But it is still a very big medical procedure and I really felt like I just couldn't trust a lot of these flashy doctors I'd spoken to... I lost around 40 lbs and I always dreamed of fixing my lower pooch area - my case is a little odd because I haven't had kids yet and am relatively lean - I was looking for a really refined result. AND zero BS. just tell me what's possible and what's not. Dr. Kim didn't take a crazy consultation fee. I didn't wait months for a consultation. He didn't try to sell me anything. His office looks and works like an actual (clean and beautiful) medical office. I never waited for my appointments. During my consultation, he gave me plenty of time to ask questions and voice my concerns. I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or being sold a used car. Finally felt like I'm speaking with a doctor who can actually lay out to me exactly what to expect moving forward, the downsides and upsides of my options, and what was and wasn't possible. Nothing was downplayed or overexaggerated. I had never had surgery before and so I really wasn't ready to have a big procedure like a tummy tuck. I asked if there was a more conservative option for my loose skin/pooch - we settled on a mini tuck with lipo to remove a large portion of my problem area - with the door always open for a full if I ever wanted. Dr. Kim was supportive, nonjudgmental and honest about whatever decision I chose. Results - my mini TT results were BEAUTIFUL. My stubborn lower pooch was totally smoothed out - no lipo ripples or weird creases. I recovered in like 2 weeks. No infections, no broken stitches, no seromas, no hypertrophic scarring, no dead skin, just... nothing. Dr. checked in with me after surgery multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. My garment fit comfortably and I was on just tylenol by the end of day 2. My incision healed into a thin, fine line which was sooo easily covered in a bikini. Way later when I was finally ready for a full tummy tuck surgery to reach the last bits of loose skin, the ease of my decision was in large part influenced by how smooth my past experience was. I trusted I was in good hands, and I was right. AGAIN, the entire procedure despite being a WAY bigger one, was just as smooth as the first time. Drains were easy. Stitches dissolved easily. The new incision is exactly where we planned for it to be - thin, and very very low and replaced my older scar. I entrusted Dr Kim to decide whether muscle repair was needed or not - he said he will if needed, since we're already in there let's make it perfect! I am snatched lol :'D my belly button looks so cute with a little hood, it looks natural and lovely. I'm around 3 weeks out and my incision is already so clean and healing very well. At this point, I can say I have a very good idea of how Dr Kim's office works, the pre op, surgery, the follow up, as well as healing/recovery. All the girls remember me, they make scheduling extremely easy, are fun to talk to, and before and after my operation my nurse really made me feel safe, cared for, and at ease. I was given all instructions and medications promptly and on time, as well as the Dr's personal number for any issues at all. Everyone has their own experiences and surgery is a big decision which can have unpredictable outcomes. But for me, choosing Dr. kim (twice) was the best decision I made for myself. I called Dr. Diaz's office to confirm if this was normal and if anything had happened to not achieve the perfect results expected. Dr. Diaz called and explained everything perfectly and removed all of my concerns. Dr. Diaz is truly one of the best plastic surgeons, and a rhinoplasty is like trying to do surgery on a moving target. To solve for the final 1% of my concern, I was invited to speak to him for a revision in the future if needed. This is all to say, he is truly the best and while 99.999% of his results are all home runs, sometimes very complex noses (like mine) have a slightly almost perfect result and that is OKAY! Absolutely nothing to do with his amazing expertise or the amazing team. If you have any concerns, please call the office directly rather than leave a negative review out of emotion, trust me it's a win-win and also a practice of self love!

From the moment I arrived, the entire consultation felt surprisingly impersonal. Most of my appointment was spent with very young staff members rather than the surgeon himself. By the time I actually met with Dr. Barrett, it was only for about five minutes. He was pleasant and professional, but the entire experience felt rushed and transactional. I left almost feeling like it was a fever dream, it was over so quickly that I walked away confused instead of confident. The biggest disappointment was being told that the only way I would have a good breast augmentation result was with a lollipop lift and implants. I wasn't told this as an option it was presented as essentially the only option that would look good for my anatomy. I left feeling discouraged and thinking I didn't really have a choice. Thankfully, I listened to my gut and scheduled consultations with other highly respected, board-certified plastic surgeons. Every other surgeon had a different perspective. I ultimately chose another extremely reputable surgeon who recommended Motiva Ergonomix implants placed over the muscle (subfascial). He explained that because I had only mild pseudo-ptosis, the implant itself would provide the subtle lift and upper-pole fullness I was looking for without requiring a lollipop lift. I'm now on the other side of surgery, and I could not be happier with my results. I got exactly the look I wanted, avoided unnecessary scars, and didn't need the more invasive procedure I had been told was my only option. To be clear, I don't think Dr. Barrett was unkind. He was nice during the brief time we spoke. My issue was that the consultation felt rushed, impersonal, and left me feeling defeated rather than educated. Looking back, I'm so grateful I sought additional opinions before making such an important decision. My biggest advice to anyone considering cosmetic surgery is this: please get multiple consultations. One surgeon's opinion is not always the only answer. I'm incredibly thankful I kept looking because I'm absolutely thrilled with the surgeon I chose and my results.

Time passed and I had I infections he had to take care of these In the beginning he sounded like he would take care of my breast. After my third reduction after that I have had infections on both breast. Recently i told him I was in pain due to breast hurting. The conversation felt like him upsetlling me for another surgery that was basically to reconstruct and not address the issue I had was pain. Around covid he had to do an emergency surgery because I had a infection that spread on the right breast which the St. JOES Hospital told me since he was my surgeon maybe he can treat me without leaving major scars. Today i had been scheduled with a doctor my from insurance because Motykie did not listen to what my pain was about for the bump on my breast causing pain for years and years. What my breast specialist thought inside was a cyst... was not.. it was something else left inside my breast from Dr. MOTYKIE.

PLEASE READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION!!! I got my breast augmentation done this past June with DR. TSAI, and the outcome was a NIGHTMARE to say the least. 11 days post surgery I began to develop a capsular contractor; this was approximately around the same time as my first consultation with "Dr" Tsai. As we discussed the issue, he seemed very dumbfounded about what transpired after my surgery. We conversed about an action plan, his exact words to me and I quote,"I am not certain why this happened, I've never dealt with this problem before and I'm not sure how to treat it." His primary suggestion to me was to purchase a foam-roller (YES!) a foam roller from a department store to roll the inflammation out and shape my implant. He blindly failed to recognize that it was 11 days post-op which at this point I began to question his credentials. As a concerned patient I followed his instructions and immediately realized that the rolling therapy had to be done by a trained professional. I became very scared, and the pain was unbearable! I immediately followed up with Beverly Hills Physicians for an emergency appointment which by this point Tsai was redundant about the treatment with no other alternatives. The most unprofessional part of this ordeal was the transition from one physician to the next. I was handed over to a secondary physician (Hodnett) which diagnosed with certainty my capsular contractor. Since BHP is just the housing and prospect generator for these physicians their partnership allows them to profit from one another, so the new physician seeing an opportunity suggested a treatment or two to break up the scar tissue, which I was ok with. Unaware that this treatment machine was patented by the physician ($$). The treatment lasted approximately 3 months, once a week at 150$ a session. During this lapsed time I never heard back from DR.TSAI to follow up with his work or to inquire about the progress of my recovery; the lack of professionalism I encountered is what I should expect from an inferior retail store, not a "reputable" business like BHP. As for Dr Tsai, I understand that I am not a high profile individual, or IG influencer as he showcases online, but rather a hardworking women who simply needed this procedure to boost myself esteem which I struggled with for some time. The feeling of being just a number amounted to no more than torment. The final outcome? A second surgery and thousands of dollars later. Please save yourself from this horrible place and don't think you're saving money by consulting with Beverly Hills physicians. The reality is there's a high probability that you'll end up spending more on fixing problems that might arise due to negligence. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable in certain capacities but in particular Niki which guided me and walked me through the process as much as she could. As far as the upper management at this specific facility it lacks accountability and leadership. They stay true to the blind eye and cliche statements. My honest recommendation to future prospects is truly invest in researching and utilizing the tools provided to you such as the accredit websites mbc.ca.gov and asps.org to divulge and uncover any recent complaints or past unlawful practice judgements. UPDATE..... I spoke to Nicki from Beverly Hills Physicians and she stated that I won't get my money back. I had Lower Blepharoplasty, Rhinoplasty, Dermabrasion on right check and multiple scar revision surgery last January 2013, and remain devastated, scared by the pain and swelling from the surgery. The effects of the surgery have not subsided as promised, and it has not been responsibly performed within the standard of care in the medical community. My left and right eyes remain swollen, scarred and "flipped down," and now I have got blurred vision and is forced to wear glasses or contact lenses, and constantly must use eyedrops because of the dryness. An ophthalmologist informed me that too much fat has been removed during the surgery. Botox and refilling will cost me $3,000.00 every 6 months. My general appearance has significantly worsened and the desired result was not remotely achieved. As a result of the surgery, I am sufferering from depression, lethargy, headaches, immune system deficiency, and sleeplessness. Now, I am taking antidepressants and has other emotional disturbances due to the result of the surgery. Prior to the surgery, I will testify that my life was very nice, and happy. I never had experience with significant mental, physical or emotional trauma. I was in excellent physical and emotional health. I had no major concerns or emotional or physical difficulties or fear of people, places or things. For the first time all that has changed as a result of the surgery. I have obtained four separate opinions after the surgery and found that the procedures dr. Hsu performed were exaggerated and rushed in order to spend less time and charge excessive amounts of money for substandard work. The surgical procedures could have been simplified to achieve the desired result. Instead of cutting a small piece off the nose, it was broken. Instead of applying Botox under the eyes, the flesh under the eyes was cut. Moreover, the Lower Blepharoplasty and the Rhinoplasty should not be performed in the same surgery. The areas of the face are too close to one another and should not be performed in the same day. Breathing through the nose is now difficult for me. Sleeping is constantly interrupted by congestion of the nasal passages, which leads to uncomfortable dry mouth. My entire body aches and I am depressed. The current pain, discomfort, fear, and emotional distress I have never, until this surgery, experienced. My personal life was very pleasant and worries free. Now my life has changed completely, and I am the victim of gross negligence and substandard work. This substandard work I had paid for in full in cash. My attorney sent a latter, and it was simply ignored by Dr. Hsu, by the medical director, and office administrator. I have never received any response from Dr. Hsu, nore from his associate. Instead I was told "go ahead and sue, we are prepared." Do not never-ever go to Dr. Hsu, and never trust any plastic surgeon who works for Beverly Hills Physician's office, unless you wont to look awful and spend a lot of money for that. Go to more experienced doctor who is more responsible for his/her work. I hope this will help other people to make a right choice, and will never experience which I am going through. read more

I called the 1-800 number that I found on the BHP website to book a rhinoplasty consultation, and I was given a 10:30 AM appointment for the following week, I was not given the name of the doctor who would see me. I arrived a few minutes early on the day of my appointment, there were a few people in the waiting room, but they were called as I arrived, even the patients who arrived after me were called within minutes of arriving. I waited for more than 45 minutes, I even thought about walking out of the office if they didn't call me 50 minutes past. Finally, after waiting for about 48 minutes, my name was called and I was seen by Dr. Kincaid, the consultation with Dr. K was very brief and although he asked me if I had any questions, I was left with many doubts. Right after, I met with the consultant Iris Mora who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the procedure, she went over the pricing and showed more interest in keeping me as a patient than Dr. K did. Iris told me that if there was another doctor within their network who I was interested in seen, that she could arrange for another consultation, but I didn't know anyone from there, so I asked Iris if they had any before and after pictures that I could see, and that's when she showed me the work of Dr. Richard E. Mack Jr. It was an album filled with before and after pictures, which was very impressive to me. Iris called Dr. Mack into her office and introduced me to him. Although, I didn't have an appointment with Dr. Mack, he showed interest in helping me with my problem, he took he's time with me going over the procedure and that made all the difference for me. I'm a young 40 y/o mom of 5 minor children (including 2 teenagers). After having kids I was ready to do something nice to reconstruct my body. I am one week post op on my very first breast augmentation w/ a crescent lift w/ one of the best doctors in the world. After researching for a few years I decided to go with Dr Andrew T. Cohen of the Beverly Hills Physician family. Because he's a doctor that is skilled far more than only Plastic and Cosmetic surgery ( learn about him via research YouTube.com), I decided on him primarily because he comes from a medical family background. I just recently had a breast augmentation with Dr. Ashjian on October 3rd let me just say i am super thrilled and more then satisfied with my results. I would give them more than 5 stars if it was possible. Since I went to my first consultation to now f/u appointments, I've never came across any disappointments. All the girls working here are very friendly and not only do they focus on their job but they also chat with the patients about how they feel and how everything has been going for them. Alicia is the first one I see as soon as I come in and another very nice girl that sits next to her as well. Both very friendly and approachable. After so much research and research I found Dr. Peter Ashjian BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON. Front office was friendly, exam room was clean. After 1-2 min waiting Iris Mora consultant introduce her self to me and explain the process.. I had such an incredible experience with Beverly Hills Physicians - to be specific, Gina Norman and Dr. Cohen. Working with Gina was better than I could have ever imagined. While remaining 100% professional, she knew exactly how to make me feel comfortable and guide me through the whole process of my surgery - start to finish and all the ties in between. Honestly, one of the best clinics I've visited! The staff, the doctors, and everyone working there are so kind and patient, and would go above and beyond to make a patient satisfied. I did a surgery with DR KASHANCHI and I thank god everyday that i chose him to do it for me. He's very kind, humble and he really knows what he's doing. Had surgery 5/3/21 with Dr. Johnson Lee, lipo 360 and BBL. Prior to surgery, was thinking of liposuction only. Was afraid of having a BBL, that was out of my comfort zone. Dr. Lee at time of consult and day of surgery, reassured me that he would give my glutes volume and not make it drastic. One month later, I'm so ECSTATIC with my lipo and BBL results! I couldn't be more pleased with the overall process. From the initial attentive consultation with Iris Mora and the calm, patient and skilled Dr Bruno. I went in thinking that I was in need of breast implants and after some probing questions it was decided that a lift would be more appropriate for my desired results. Words can't explain how happy I'm with my results and staff at BHP. Dr.Bruno is the Most honest, nicest surgeon I have ever consulted with ,he answered all my questions, and let me tell you I had plenty. Before Dr. Bruno I Consulted elsewhere and I wasn't convinced he failed to tell me that it was better to lose as much weight as possible before my TT, something that Dr. Bruno recommended of the bat. My consultant Iris Mora is the best she worked out a payment plan for me that worked out magnificent for me, she is the best. First impression was amazing. I had a rhinoplasty and was less than impressed. The piece connecting my nostrils was clearly crooked. Dr. Bruno assured me that in one year he would correct the problem but wanted to wait 1 year. I went back in to have the correction made and he directed me to another doctor that slapped me with a $7500 estimate of costs for the procedure. Basically in a nut shell, I was mislead. I believed Dr Bruno would perform and deliver what he had promised and in the end I had crooked center piece that connects my nostrils and another $7500 expense. It was beyond traumatizing and I wish this on no one. Do your research!!! Even if you're being promised great results and you feel confident. Just because its Beverly Hills doesn't make it any better than a surgeon in Compton. The saying "you get what you pay for" in this particular situation NOT APPLICABLE. See the size of the scar. See the muscle draping. Too bad I cannot show you excessive nerve damage and crooked smile he has caused. I'm now having to spent over 10K to fix the damage he caused but I will never get my smile back. The nerve damage is permanent. He is a general doctor practicing and flexing as he goes.
