I would highly recommend Dr. Kim. I had breast augmentation done with him last year. I enjoyed my experience with him. He is professional and experienced and will get you the results you want. He and his assistants reply to questions promptly too. I did a virtual consultation with him where I asked questions and he answered and gave me his professional opinion. Then I booked an appointment. During pre opt, he'll ask you what you want and answer any questions you may have. He'll tell you about the procedure, recovery, everything you need to know basically. Currently I am only post-op, I will update further in ~6 months when they fluff/drop. My preop experience went smoothly and although I was nervous, all the staff reassured me about everything! I truly believe how the staff treats you before everything is a reflection on the business and they were amazing at answering all my questions as I've never been under the knife before. I showed all my inspo photos and made sure to let Dr. Kim know I wanted an athletic, full look to my breasts and not extremely big. Many Drs I've seen only give their patients gigantic breasts and I decided to trust Dr. Kim because he also works on petite asian girls like myself. Day of surgery went extremely well. The nurses and anesthesiologist also reflected amazingly on the business. I forgot their names but the man with glasses who handled my IV was quick and efficient, seemed like he didn't like small talk but I liked it because I absolutely hate IVs and he did it in an instant without me passing out. I fell asleep, woke up with boobs. Recovery sucks, but it's not as bad as I thought. I am so grateful for Dr. Kim. I am absolutely in love with my breasts!! I had no idea what a big difference having cleavage and boobs would make in my confidence and level of happiness. So a few things that I want to say.... Pick the surgeon YOU trust! I had a handful of consultations, some of the surgeons were more expensive and some much less expensive then Dr Kim. I asked Dr Kim why he decided to become a plastic surgeon and he said it was because it brought him joy to make people happy!! He had been another type of surgeon before and he said it was a bit depressing (this is all paraphrased so if I misquote you at all, sorry Dr Kim!). I asked him how many of these surgeries he's done...he said sometimes as many as four a day...so I knew he had the experience! Dr. Kim was also very patient answering all my questions before the in person consult, during the consult, after the consult before surgery, on the day of the surgery and afterward. He was also very informative. I'm on a breast augmentation forum and many girls had no idea what they should be doing before surgery, after surgery, on the day is the surgery?! I knew exactly what medications to be off of before the surgery and for how long, what meds not to take after the surgery because they can cause bleeding, when I could shower again, what the massage looks like and how to do it... Dr Kim even called me the day after my surgery on a Sunday to make sure I was ok. I also saw he had one negative review on here...and he addressed it! Dr kim is on major auto pilot mode as a plastic surgeon. I should have seen the red flags when all my pre op appts. Prior to surgery felt rushed. His office looks tacky, cheap, and dated. I had told him I wanted a natural look for my Breast Augmentation and I also specifically said I wanted frontal side boob. He said ok and at the appt right before my surgery I even told him let's go bigger to make sure I get frontal side boob. The day of the surgery I asked him if he was going to put different sized implants since my breasts were clearly uneven in size. He said "maybe". He lipoed my chin and did my breast Aug. in an hour and a half. Right away I noticed my right breast was not carved out in a circle at the bottom and it looked like there was a corner missing from the bottom roundness. I didn't think anything of it since I figured they would drop and look fine. About 2 months post op I definitely felt like my smaller breast was still smaller than the other one since he put the same sized implants in both breasts. I kept massaging them hoping they would settle in. Fast forward to one year later I went in for my one year post op visit and I showed him the A symmetry and how the right breast didn't look rounded out at the bottom. He said "I think they look good". I asked him if there was anything he could do to make the right Breast look round and he said he can go in and remove scar tissue, but there's a 10% chance that it would fix the problem. He clearly did not care at all about how unhappy I was and he just wanted me out so he could go on about his day. I'm a hairstylist and if a client isn't happy with their hair the last thing I'm going to tell them is, "I can try and fix it but there's a 10% chance that it's gonna look better" I have never been to such a careless plastic surgeon and I've had quite a bit of work done at this point. The only other thing he offered was to redo them for 8500$ and go bigger and he said even then he wasn't sure if they would be even. And also I had absolutely no frontal side boob, which I made clear to him that's what I wanted. I ended up going to another surgeon and he fat grafted them to make them look more even, but I'm still not fully happy with them due to the fact that I have no frontal side boob. I wish I never went to dr Kim. I'm blown away as to why he has so many good reviews. He's not skilled and a wam bam thank you mam dr. Hi ladies! I know going under the knife is scary, but please consider my experience with Dr Kim if you are considering breast augmentation and /or lift. I will highlight why Dr Eugene Kim should be your top pick if you are considering plastic surgery. Firstly, I had saggy uneven breasts (one was a B cup the other a small C cup) and I needed a lift + implants. After consulting with Dr E. Kim, he was my first and only choice. After calling other offices before his, I felt a disconnect with the other office staff for different surgeons and plus their arrogance. I know there are many fake reviews of the so-called "world famous" Instagram flaunting surgeons who many of them in fact butcher their clients. Dont let Instagram fool you into the wrong direction with the wrong surgeons. Look for real and authentic reviews + surgeons history and work. Anyways, Ive had two surgeries with Dr Kim this year. First one- April 2021- was a lift and BA with 265 CCs. Dr Kim was honest with me and informed me that he couldnt go bigger due to me not having enough breast tissue. After 6 months of healing, I decided to have another surgery to have more CCs. Dr Kim informed me that I have had stretched out breast tissue that would hold more larger implants. So October 20,2021 was my second surgery with 400 ccs. I am a week post op and LOVE my results!!! After 2 surgeries and many post op appointments with Dr E. Kim, here is what I can conclude. --Dr Kim has AMAZING bedside manners. Very professional and informative, caring and thorough. I work in psychology, and can say that I would have needed to feel safe in someone's care in order to have major surgery like this. Mentally and emotionally, I felt ready and comfortable. --Dr Kim is ALWAYS on time for your appointments. If you are doing a consult or post/pre-op, he will always meet with you exactly on time!! He cares about you and your time and I truly appreciate him being this considerate. Ive had horrendous experiences with wait times in other offices. --HONESTY!! Hello, I am 1 and a half week post-op from my liposuction operation! It was a tough recovery, but I am so happy I got my procedure done by Dr. Eugene Kim!! I always had body image issues for years since I grew up with strict Korean beauty standards. Recently, it got worse due to the fact that I gained a lot of weight due to my hypothyroidism, and it was really negatively impacting my life. No matter how much exercise and dieting I did, I wasn't able to lose weight and stayed at a steady weight for the longest time. Due to this issue, I decided to get liposuction after saving up. It was hard working while also studying as a pre-nursing student, but I managed to save up. I was honestly a bit lost on choosing my surgeon since I had no idea what to look for, but I decided to get my procedure done by Dr. Kim since I trusted him with my body as a fellow Korean and since he is double board certified. The cost of the procedure that was quoted was super reasonable in my opinion for his amazing work on my body. It was worth every cent. There were no discounts available at the time due to how busy it was at the clinic when I got my procedure, but I do not regret paying full for the procedure at all. His clinic also provided payment plans which also helps alot ! My impression of Dr. Kim was super good, he was very kind and knowledgeable. I got a tummy-tuck and lipo on my flanks with Dr. Eugene Kim. I have a slender body type and after 3 c-sections, I had a diastasis. I lead a healthy life style, I stay active, work out and eat premium food. I did pilates and yoga to focus on flatting my tummy and to build muscles. I weighed 118 lbs at one time and people still asked if I was pregnant. I became discouraged that all my hard work did not meet my goals. I wouldn't wear bikinis because I have an "outie" belly-button and still have a belly bulge. I gave up. My self-esteem was disintegrating. I searched for a solution, and Dr. Kim was it. In my case, diastasis recti cannot be fixed without surgery. Dr. Kim's work was well executed! He was very clear with what I should expected. I felt I could trust him. One year post op here! I found Dr. Kim on Yelp. His outstanding reviews had me looking for more of his work which led me to his Instagram. His infection control and surgical technique to reduce the risk of complications is impressive. I knew I wanted to have him as my surgeon immediately after! I followed pre and post-op directions exactly as he directed. From the beginning of this journey(and now), he's been easily accessible- always answers every question and addresses every concern. I was really nervous to go under anesthesia but he and his surgical team made me feel extremely comfortable. Dr.Kim called me the morning after my surgery to check on me which was very appreciated (And mind you, this was Sunday morning as I had my surgery on a Saturday). I got a breast augmentation by Dr. Kim in August 2020 and I can't write in words of how happy I am with how they turned out. They are amazing and the recovery was so smooth for me. Before-- I did a virtual consultation and during that consultation we got to know each other and he educated me on the process and about things I did not know about before getting a BA. We talked about the size I was going for, incision placement, silicone/saline/gummy... etc. What I LOVE most about Dr. Kim is that he responds to my emails in a timely manner. Even though he does have many patients he still has time to reply to every single email of his and is very thorough with each email and does not leave any unanswered questions. Day of surgery-- I was so nervous and excited. I knew I've always wanted to get a BA since I was a teen. When my sister dropped me off they had me change and fill out some paperwork with the nurse that was going to take care of me when I recovered. Dr. Kim walked in and we went over what we planned to do, I met my anesthesiologist and then shortly after I was in surgery. It felt like I took a nice nap and I woke up a little dazed but felt no pain at all. The nurse was so sweet and comforting. She wheeled me out to my sister's car when it was time for me to leave. The overall time I was there was about 2.5-3hours. Surgery time was about 1hour. Recovery-- *IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW ALL AFTER CARE DIRECTIONS* I had a smooth recovery, the very next day I was able to get up by myself (carefully), open and close doors, and other daily tasks. Everyones body is different and the way the surgeon operates makes a difference too. I feel like I had a smooth recovery and felt no pain because of Dr. Kim, following the correct after care procedures, and I'm not sure if being fit has anything to do with it or why I didn't have any pain. I just felt sore as if I did a really hardcore chest workout. As for medication, I only took the pill I was required to before surgery and the antibiotics after surgery. I was prescribed other medications but I did not feel the need to use them. During recovery it is SUPER IMPORTANT to not sleep on your side or stomach. This will cause you to ruin your beautiful breasts and I'm sure you don't want to pay more or go through surgery again. 5 months later-- My breasts have "dropped and fluffed" they are soft and I feel like they are just apart of me. It does not feel like I have a foreign object in my chest. At first they did feel heavy but you get used to it. I think I started to notice the "drop and fluff" stage around 3 months. To say that Dr. Kim is the MOST AMAZING Plastic Surgeon around would be an understatement. His talent is undeniable and his hands are indeed magic. I had my Breast Lift and Augmentation done by Dr. Kim on 12/14/18 - I couldn't be any happier with the results already! For the last 10+ years, I've wanted a Breast Augmentation but never found the right time, doctor, etc. I knew during the consultation that he was the one....within a week I was booked and ready to move forward with my surgery. I had a virtual consultation in which I emailed photos and he was able to provide me with a quote for the BA procedure and inverted nipple correction. His staff was then able to help me set up a pre-op appointment. Since the pandemic happened I ended up waiting a little longer due to business closures but his staff was super kind and helpful by keeping me posted on re-opening procedures and allowing me to move the pre-op appointment & surgery day appointment around multiple times. So before this I was part of the itty bitty tiddy committee and I honestly do not even know what size I was because I never wore a bra. I was also super insecure about my breast because of my inverted nipples. But as of today I am almost 1 month post op and I feel great! If you are a BA ( or any plastic surgery) candidate who has done their own THOROUGH research you'll understand why he is highly rated across the board. *** BTW: I'm seeing. Some reviews complaining about a short consultation. However, there's no need for an hour long consultation when there's been proper research done on your own part. You should have a set of questions you want to ask ready and Eugene will answer them. When a surgeon goes on for more than 45 minutes about the procedure.... its almost as if they're trying for 'close the sale'. When a person has a good reputation in their industry, there is no need to over-sale. Their work will speak for itself. My husband is high in demand tattoo artist , so I have just observed his methods (quick, to the point, short in consult but booked always 3 months in advanced... because of his quality) . I am beyond happy I went to Dr. Kim for my surgery. He's very straight to the point, nice, and attentive. Pre op I was a 32B, I haven't been able try on different bras because of this pandemic, but I'm assuming I'm a 32 D or DD. I went under the muscle with my incision under my breast. I got high profile 415cc silicone implants. This is going to be a long review about my whole 90 day journey. The first week was hard but everyday got better and better, trust me it's so worth it. I am extremely pleased with my results and I allowed Dr. Kim to pick the size that would best suit my body type and lifestyle (I am a very active person). Day of surgery (day one) - Waking up from surgery feeling a lot of pressure. First words waking up "wow they weren't kidding about the amount of pressure you feel". - Feeling very "drunk" nauseous, dizzy, on the verge of vomiting. Feeling lasted 3 hours post op. - Ate soups, apple sauce, yogurt, and bread - No pain, just a lot of pressure and soreness - In and out of sleep all day - Needed help taking pants off to use the toilet Days 2-5 post op - More movement, can pants off to use toilet - Felt very out of it from medication, in and out of sleep everyday - Ate my first meals (small healthy meals) - Had yogurt with every antibiotic - No bowel movement until day 5 - Washed lower body on day 4 - Last norco was early morning day 5 - Minimal arm movement - No pain, a lot of soreness - Day 4 less chest pressure - Whole body felt tender (side effects from anesthesia) - Very bloated for a whole week (looked 6 months pregnant) Day 6-10 - Day 6, no more pain killers (only antibiotic), pains here and there, a lot of soreness, less pressure. - Clear mind and less naps after stopping norco - Lower back/butt pain from sleeping sitting up - Pain that felt like a bruised rib on lower left boob - More movement with arms, can't lift above shoulders - Drove on day 7 - Normal bowel movements - 1 week Post op. Tape removal was a little painful but satisfying. Stitches were easy to remove without pain (strange sensation). Regarding pain under left boob doctor said it was an inflamed blood vessel. Should heal within a week. - Still a lot of swelling on the top - Started massage, breast feel very tender and sore when preforming. 30-40 mins a day - Feeling better everyday - First night given the okay to sleep flat on back (slept with two pillows below my head, two pillows beside each hip. Slept good). Day 11-14 - No pain - Mild tenderness under left boob - Can lift arms above head on day 14 - Dry skin on breasts - Itchy - Nipples extremely sensitive since day 1 Day 60 - No pain - Nipples no longer sensitive - Area below nipples still slightly numb Day 90 - Normal sensation on left nipple, right nipple slightly numb, both breast slightly numb around incision. - Massaging everyday 30-45 mins. - No pain or discomfort. read more

I would give him 0 stars if I could. Was very apprehensive about getting my breast done with him and he saw that too I was in a very insecure place in life. right before surgery he asked me questions about whether I want nipple reduction or not, he didn't educate me about it and I had no idea it involved removing the part of the nipple that actually keeps it looking small and youthful. The scars of my two breasts are uneven and pretty unsightly. I highly regret going to him, his google reviews are also disabled, because he doesn't want his google rating to go down. I highly recommend Dr. Kim. I have now done three revision surgeries with him that happen as a result of age. My husband found Dr. Eugene Kim back in 2017 for me after researching several doctors for a breast augmentation. We did a consultation and immediately decided that he was the doctor i trusted the most. At that time(2017) I also inquired about getting a BBL and he told me he didn't think it was necessary. I went for a consultation with Dr. Kim and it was a disappointing experience all around. Not only was he 25 minutes late, he showed up with no apology and rushed through the appointment. He then proceeded to let me know a breast reduction was basically impossible. Umm I'm pretty sure that's one of the most common cosmetic procedures out there and any plastic surgeon should be able to properly do it. He also immediately assumed I was trying to get my insurance to cover it which was quite condescending. ***OUT OF STATE PATIENT*** Two years ago or so, I followed Dr. Kim on Instagram and told myself that if I ever move back to California I will get my breast augmentation done by him. Turns out, I never did move back after school. I looked into other doctors, but my mind kept wandering back to Dr. Kim's work and how I've always wanted him to be my doctor. I ended up emailing him and got a very quick response. Since I am out of town, we did a consultation via email. Unlike the one other email consultation I did with another doctor, Dr. Kim told me exactly how many ccs I would need in order to get to what cup size I wanted. I booked the surgery a couple months out (since I had to plan for traveling) and was able to email Dr. Kim whenever I had a question during that time period. He answered all my questions honestly, and once again, very quickly. The day before surgery I got to meet Dr. Kim for the first time! I was nervous, but knew he was the right one the minute he walked in the door! Even my friend that came with me loved him and knew he was a great fit for me. The day of surgery, I was not nervous what so ever. When I woke up, I didn't feel any pain, just a little discomfort. The recovery was super easy for me! 10/10 would do surgery day all over again, it was the best day of my life! Dr. Kim and his nurses made me feel so comfortable. I had an email consultation in 2021 and I didn't think that my needs were fully addressed so I decided to pay for an in person consultation. I'm glad I went in person because what was offered in the email was different than what was suggested in office. The appointment felt rushed and I did not think that my needs/wishes were made a priority when discussing my options. It seemed like the doctor was more concerned about how my results would look on Instagram than what I truly needed as a patient. I expressed that I did not want to be covered in scars and yet, Dr. Kim's number one suggestion was to hack me up and do an anchor incision. Although I'm glad that I went in person, it was a complete waste of money, but did save me from going to the wrong surgeon. I left my consultation with Dr. Kim in tears and I felt defeated when I really needed to have my implants fixed as I was in a lot of pain. My priority was fixing my painful implants with minimal scarring rather than having boobs that looked good in photos. Overall, I found an amazing surgeon in Orange County who truly listened and suggested a lollipop incision and stated emphatically that I certainly did not need an anchor cut. I got a breast augmentation done 2 weeks ago and couldn't be more pleased and excited about the results! To start. I've had one consult with another doc in oc a few years ago and was 2 days away from surgery when i found out i was pregnant with my first son. Cancelled that and fast forward: My son is 2 1/2 and my breasts had seen better days. Found Dr. Kim on Yelp, messaged him, and to my surprise, he responded in a timely manner and easily answered my questions. I contacted another dr., at the same time, who also had great yelp reviews and he just gave me the runaround trying to get me in to further discuss the possibilities. Surgery day was a breeze. Never felt nervous. My nurse that prepped me was such a sweetheart. I cant remember her name, (the name veronica pops into my head, but i could be completely wrong) but she really made me feel at ease and was so patient and informative. The anesthesia knocks you out in a matter of seconds and suddenly woke up and boom... boobs! Recovery went better than expected. Really only out for up to 48 hours because of the anesthesia/meds and i was able to be up and about on day 3. So far, it's healing great and recovery continues to be better than i could have anticipated. My breasts are EXACTLY how i wanted them. I barely filled an A cup and wanted very natural, proportionate full B cup breasts. 210cc/240cc (one side was bigger so he evened me out) moderate plus profile regular silicone. I can't get over how natural they look already. The incision under the breast is also very small. I've never been so happy to try on clothes... really. SO HAPPY. Office is beautiful. Easy underground valet parking. Staff was all very helpful and welcoming every visit. Scheduling is easy. I even had to reschedule once already and they're still very accommodating. I'm one week post-op from my breast augmentation and i feel great, all thanks to Dr. Kim and his staff! I came in for a consultation in March after seeing another doctor. I walked out knowing for sure that I wanted Dr. Kim to be my doctor. He was so personable and that made me feel very comfortable. I didn't feel rushed at all as he took his time to answer all the questions you have and explain things. He also made sure to ask if I had any more questions before leaving. Also if I ever had any additional questions, he's very responsive through email, which is a BIGGGG PLUS. Not only that, if you follow him on IG, his work is literally flawless!! On the day of my pre-op, I was still not sure what profile and size I wanted. He reassured me that I still have time and we can always change it on surgery day. Following my pre-op, I was so nervous for surgery day since it's my first time being under and I was scared it might be really painful. I thought I'd be crying in pain once I got home cause I have a pretty low pain tolerance, but it was so manageable! I came in for surgery on a Wednesday and the nurse (Donna) was there to take me in. She was hands down the best nurse! She was so kind and she really made me feel at ease. I felt like she was a friend. I stayed with her for 30 mins or so and she got me ready for surgery. Then the anesthesiologist then came and they walked me to the surgery room. They were all so nice which in turn made me feel so calm. I remember the anesthesiologist asking me where I wanted to go for vacation and I said "Hawaii" and before I knew it, I was awake. When waking up from surgery, I felt so much pressure on my chest. Literally like two elephants sitting on there. The first couple of days, I felt intense pressure but it wasn't painful. For sure sleeping at an angled position and on your back is more painful cause I'm a side/stomach sleeper. Still haven't found anything to help with that yet... I remember only crying cause I felt like I was bothering so many people. Now I'm one week post op, I can do most things myself now, which is great!! My breasts are slowly healing and they're less swollen day by day. They don't look like dino eggs anymore that's for sure! I can't wait to see them after they're fully healed! Tips: - Buy your front zipper bras off of Amazon - 2 free hour parking garage across the office - Go to Whole Foods to buy some Arnica for muscle pain/stiffness, swelling and bruising - Drink lots of water and eat a lot of high-fiber foods after. Like a good Yelper I waited until the whole process was over to leave a review. I don't want to disclose myself (for obvious privacy reasons), but with that I can leave my honest review. Dr. Eugene Kim was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. I'm one year post-op from a Tummy Tuck and I'm so happy with my results. Prior to this I gained & lost about 50lbs from pregnancy and had diastasis recti. No matter what I did - diet & exercise, I could not get rid of my belly! The tummy tuck procedure was life changing! I got all my confidence back and then some! I've never worn a bikini in my life, but did the first time this year! The process: I compared his costs and practices with several doctors in LA areas. I sent him pictures and hopped on a zoom call with him. He made me feel very comfortable and his price was fair - on the high side, but worth every Penny! He offered a pain pump (which some doctor's don't do), but I think that was very helpful in managing my pain and recovery! We had a pre-op, signed some paperwork, and scheduled a surgery day! Surgery day: his nurses took care of me the whole time. This day honestly went by so quickly because I don't remember anything once I fell asleep during surgery!! I just remember being nervously walked to the surgery room, the anesthesiologist told me he'd give me something to relax me, and then I woke up with a new body in the recovery room! I was so paranoid at first thinking I would throw up or have a bad reaction post op (I threw up after a c-section), but no! I was actually so happy after surgery and didn't feel any pain or nausea. He prescribes some anti nausea medicine right before! I just had some slight discomfort obviously, but pain was surprisingly manageable! I stayed at Prestige Aftercare (Beverly hills SLS) overnight and they took such great care of me!! Pricey, but honestly worth it! They picked me up, knew how to load me in the car, assisted me to the bathroom, fed me, made sure I took meds I needed , and Dr. Kim FaceTimed me while I was there! The nurses were so kind at Prestige!! Recovery: I saw dr. Kim for a whole year during post-op! For the first few months it was for the usual - drainage , check ups, healing, etc. Removing the drains was painless!! Over time I started to develop keloid scars (which I expected ~ hereditary!). I also had bad keloid during my c-section so it was bound to happen! What I loved about Dr. Kim is that he offered steroid injections free of charge! It really helped flatten out my lumpy scars! What impressed me is that he was very thorough with post-op. He didn't try to rush or get rid of me at all! In fact he kept reassuring me to come back to him if I ever felt like I needed more injections or any other treatment/revisions! The scar honestly didn't bother me as I expected it and it's not like I'm wearing string bikinis everywhere. My husband doesn't even notice it! If I really wanted to hide it, some good ol' tinted sunscreen helped! All and all the surgery was really life changing! Easier recovery than my c-section! Dr Kim and his staff are completely amazing, i love his team. I recently did the mommy make over, breast augmentation and tummy tuck with lipo. I am 3.5 week post op. Let me start off by saying i absolutely love my body. He gave me an hour glass shape and I'm finally out of the itty bitty committee. I'm still recovering but results are looking better everyday as i heal. Dr Kim, is such a caring, patient, experienced dr. He's very good on patient care and very attentive.
