Everyone rightfully gave this place a 1-star review; the billing department and service is woefully incompetent and verbally combative. To put this into perspective, the office admin cannot write down addresses correctly to submit claims. This resulted in my insurance denying my claim because they never received it. The kicker is that the office has no concept of bookkeeping, thus, lost my copies of my insurance ID or even make notes for calls. So I'm on the hook for a $1,200 bill because the front office said 'we do not talk to insurance.' So the onus is on you to do their job. If you go with this medical group, bring a lawyer, cause litigation is probably the only way to get them to communicate properly. read more

If ZERO starts was an option, that's what this review would be. BEWARE: This company does not offer flexible payment options at all. We're fully willing to pay our balance due after insurance paid their portion, but the balance due is not something that we can pay all at once due to a separate medical emergency for our daughter that has resulted in thousands of dollars due amongst multiple providers - all of which have allowed and provided us with flexible & sensible payment plans. This company requires you to pay half 1/2 of the total due and then will only offer 3 monthly installments for the remaining balance. That is NOT a payment plan IMO. They do not budge on this "policy" and is not willing to do anything else for the patient/client. I would much rather and have since gone to the hospital or other providers in my insurance network who do offer flexible payment plans, if necessary. This company is also NOT accredited with the Better Business Bureau - which should tell you something - and has an "F" rating. Being billed $60. It appears they have not sent claims to Medicare and supplementary insurance. This is not proper. If they are a Medicare provider they are obligated to bill Medicare first. First bill I received I called the billing dept and when I told the rep that I do not see online that this claim has been processed by Medicare or UHC. It appears they didn't even send a claim but billed us directly. The person hang up on me when I posed the question. Now they are sending us another bill. Again without first sending claim to Medicare. Improper billing. The facility itself was stellar, the staff at the radiology center deserve a shout out. Took off work to come in. The machine was broken. Rescheduled while I was there. Took off work to come in a second time. They didn't have my rescheduled appointment there. Took off from work to come a third time. Paid in person for additional services, as well as through my insurance. The email sent for a $16 remaining bill to my email happened to be the same exact date as the receipt I had for my payment the year before and I thought I already paid. This place, after I took a hit on 2 separate work days because of their issues, sent me to collections for that money after coming to them for multiple years with NO issues making payments. I did not receive a single courtesy phone call related to a late payment. They do not care about patients' time, money, or well being here. Choose another place for your care. This location needs to be sued and close down immediately. They are harrassing patients with faulse charges for services not provided. For mammogram: X-ray (4 plates) has been reported as two services digital computerized and billed me $546. My medicare covers x-ray mammogram which I had done ( like always) but this greedy made two charges. They sent two billing to my Medicare insurance to steal more money for services they did not provide. They threaten me with collection. I verified with the clerk about using VA insurance. The lady assured me she did it correct. Few weeks pass by , they refuse to give me the X-ray because they could not process my insurance forms. Also, when they called me about the bill, she read back to me what they put on the form ,and she read some random identification numbers. Of my VA number. Obviously, she just used her pudgy fingers to press random keys , and hit entered. I don't know if it was her last day at work or just wanted to sabatoge me or create trouble. But now, the bill collectors want 80$ from me. Lol My first non payment. Of course , am going to pay it off, even though am not suppose to because the insurance has it covered. But I also did not get my x-ray. So I paid for parking, wasted 2 hours of my time, lost $80 , and didn't get my x-ray. Basically, got robbed $100. I know some people would get mad but I believe in God . And the lady was a obese woman anyway so I cannot imagine her life becoming better. Karma will come for her in this life or the next. First let me start of by saying this has nothing to do with the office workers but everything to do with the shady billing operations. My husband was having spinal surgery November 2024. So he needed pre op imaging. PAID HIS CO PAY . Now here we are in January 2026 and he is being billed for co pays from 2024. We have spent hours on the phone with them trying to figure out the problem. So first they told us we see that you paid so ignore the bill. Guess what? We got billed again the next month. We called again. They said ignore it. Next month we got another bill for 2024. We still have proof we paid. We are guessing now we just have to wait until it goes to collections and the we will file a complaint and a complaint with the state of California. Sent here for mammogram. One image taken. I questioned the technician and she said I only need one because "I am so good." My physician said that is unacceptable, she feels one image is insufficient. I can not get another one for 12 months unless I pay for it out of pocket. Be forewarned, I received a bill for a copay 13 months after a procedure! When I questioned them on the belated bill they said they have up to 7 years. When I tried to contact them you have to press "1" for English. I have every respect for people coming into the U.S. My family are immigrants, I am first generation in U.S. I should not have to press "1" for English in the U.S. any more than my father should have to press "1" in Italy for Italian. read more

This is going to be a long review. It's my advice to BEG your primary care doctor or specialist not to refer you to these people. 1. Called for an MRI appointment 8 weeks ago. The calls go to a central number because they have several facilities. The young woman taking my call asked me the same questions over and over. Then she would giggle and apologize and ask again. I came to the conclusion that she was drunk or stoned. It took 25 minutes to make the appointment as she had to keep asking me the same things. 2. I never received a confirmation text so I called the day before my appointment and lo and behold- there was no appointment for me. I talked to another young woman who confirmed that the woman that usually sits next to her always acts drunk or stoned! She asked me to please complain because no one there believed her! When I talked to a supervisor about how disappointed I was, he said, "Oh I guess she needs more training." How about drug testing or firing!! Made a second appointment for 10 days later (soonest possible). 2. Got a text the morning of the second appointment that my appointment had been cancelled because "not enough techs showed up." Made a third appointment far from my house because the one nearest is never available. 3. FINALLY get to my appointment. I'm in the tube going through complete hell because of the noise. (This is my first MRI ever.) I work in construction and am used to loud noises. This was unbelievable and painful. I thought I was losing my mind. After 40 minutes, it stopped and they said through the speaker that they were ready to inject the dye. I then asked about the horrible noise. Silence for a few seconds...."ummm, sir, you do have earplugs in, right?" NO, NO ONE GAVE ME ANY. "Oh, the guy in charge of that is new, I guess he forgot." I completely lost it and screamed at everyone in the room when I got out of the machine. I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow to go over the results. I plan on telling him all this and how he should NEVER refer anyone here again. Now I am seeing my doctor a full 6 weeks after I should have. I may have prostate cancer or another terrible problem and this place has delayed my treatment. DO NOT GO HERE. NOTE: I see from the other reviews that others have gotten the drunk lady on the phone also. We are sincerely thinking of suing if their negligence has delayed treatment. read more

First of all I don't know how it's legal and how this company is still in business. I've had Medicare and Medi-Cal for the past 35 years and it's always covered 100% of any procedure that I ever get including any type of services I got from Beverly radiology. It appears that Continental credit is in cahoots with them as well. They emailed me a bill a few days ago then when I called Continental credit today they said that they actually emailed me three bills. Naturally I'm going to dispute this and I'm going to add my complaint to the many list on the better Business bureau website. Seven months ago my husband was referred to Beverly Radiology by his primary care physician for a pre-op chest x-ray which our Medicare and Plan G Insurance should have covered 100%. Due to a coding error we are receiving statements every month with a balance due, each time I call their billing office I hear the same line "your acct will be sent to our coding review team and you will hear back in 20-30 days." Someone initially applied an incorrect code and we have been dealing with the stress of a simple error not being corrected, receiving a bill each month and being threatened with collections. Corresponded with wrong insurance company for months, even though I gave them the correct info and advised them what they were doing wrong. Then they sent my "overdue" balance to collections, even though they had my insurance but didn't bill it properly. Had to have it recalled from collections, and as of this moment I am still waiting for them to bill my insurance properly. I call them every day. Nobody calls me back when they say. No answers. If I could leave 0 stars I would. While the provider who facilitated the ultrasound was great, the billing is a nightmare. They tried to bill my insurance twice for the same procedure. I have been informed by Medicare that Beverly intentionally mis-codes for Medicare reimbursement so that they can "attempt" to collect full market rates from individuals versus Medicares much lower reimbursement rates. Through my own extensive efforts, I was able to get Medicare to apply the correct codes which led to the lawful Medicare reimbursement to Beverly. Nevertheless, the morons Beverly employs continue to seek hundreds of dollars from me that Medicare claims I May not be filled for. Steer clear of Beverly Radiology. We go through the same hassle every year. They claim to be in our network but they never honor the "Adjusted Rate", provided by our insurance company. It usually takes a few phone calls to straighten it out and get them to give us the proper bill. This year the retail bill was $550 and the adjusted bill should be $199. They told us to wait for the corrected bill. Instead, they sent it to collections. Now they are telling us the corrected bill is still in process. It's been over 4 months. Collections keeps threatening us. Beverly Radiology says to ignore collections and wait for the corrected bill. It's vexing that they sent it to collections when they told us they were in the process of correcting the bill. read more

Wow, I came to write about my terrible experience and it seems that virtually all of the other reviewers have had similar experiences. The billing department is negligent. They sent me a bill 1 year and 5 months after the service date. After a lengthy phone call, my insurance company reassured me this was not my financial responsibility and I provided the next steps to Beverly Radiology, which already seems out of my scope as the patient. Rather than following through with submitting the claim to the appropriate payor, Beverly Radiology sent me to collections. Awful billing department! Had a referral through insurance for a mammogram. 9 months later they send me a bill. My insurance always cover this procedure. I call because they never even submitted it to my insurance group. Then a month later I got another bill saying I owe them money and that my insurance health group wasn't covering the entire cost, only part. They said though if you pay it now will give you a discount. Instead I called my insurance group and they said that was false information and It should be fully covered . They called on my behalf to Beverly, Radiology, Medical, Group and clarified that I owe nothing. I have to call back in 2 weeks to see if they handled it. Seems a little shady to me! read more

I would give them a -5 if I could. These people are rude. They were in-network. I went for work in 4/2020. Every year they send me a bill for $540, as if I'm going to forget the trouble they put me through. This year I changed insurance. I called BHRMD. As usual they were rude. They told me it would be sent to review committee. I would hear back in 14 days. Meanwhile, my insurance company at the time, because it was so long ago, had difficulty. The first person found it. Because they were in network, the amount owed decreased to $188, half of which was paid 3 days after service by my insurance. Since I was charged $75 even before they saw me, and their techs weren't nice either, I owed less than $20, which I promptly paid. Please avoid these people for your own good. They behave like thieves. I have been told before that this situation was rectified. It gets harder and harder the more time passes. I recommend Mink Radiology. Skip these people. read more

So...I paid for my MRI, which was lost, when i received the service, which Wave Imaging has no record of. The charge is still on my Care Credit Card. I received a refund check. I thought it was because I had sent so many scathing emails trying to get a response from someone to figure out what happened. Then I received another bill that I still owed money. And today, after calling them, I got a run around. I asked them to stop payment on the refund check, since I hadn't cashed it yet anyway, and especially because I don't trust anything that's been going on with this whole thing. Very shady practices. .On 7-09-24 I went in for two scans at the same time for two different areas of the body. One was billed correctly to Medicare and my secondary insurance. The other was coded incorrectly and the entire claim was not paid by Medicare for $610. After I got my first bill I called in August of 2023 to resolve the issue and my doctor and I both gave them the correct coding so they and have them recode properly and rebill. I have been calling for 6 months over and over and their coding department still has not reported back or refiled the claim. Every time I call they tell me that it is with the recoding team. SIX MONTHS? Now they are sending me final bills and threats for collection in the amount of $610 which is several times the cost that Medicare paid for the other scan in the same visit and session and same machine that was properly coded and paid by insurance. There are only two possible reasons for it take 6 months and still not resolve this isssue one is gross incompetence and the other is that their business model is to wear their customers down so they will pay the bill anyways. I am enraged by being sent FINAL Statements whe I have tried for 6 months to have this propertly handled. Every other review has a similar story to mine. read more

Intake people do not know if you accept their insurance or not if they are not in your network you will be charged even for preventive care. I did ask when I went in at the beginning of the year to make sure they are still in my network I've had situations where doctors were no longer in my network so I am very adamant about checking. The intake receptionist said they were in my network I've gone there before and had no problems. They recently changed owners and they dropped my insurance I guess. Beverly Radiology Billing Department turned my life into not ending nightmare of Groundhog day for last 7 months and it's not over yet! Jacklin, Venetia, Tunisia, Troy, Alex, Jim, Andrea, Se, Diana and many others are responsable! I had an abdominal CT scan at 10101 Riverside Dr, Toluca Lake, CA 91602 on March 2024. My deductible is $0, my copay is $100 They are charging me 3-7 times ABOVE my copay ( got 5 bills for $325, 2 bills for $855) Cash price is $240 btw. Adjusted Bill WAS PAID in full by Regal using CAPITATION - meaning "in advance" in June; Regal spent unthinkable! amount of time on the phone with them; sent multiple requested faxes and emails: EOB, my copay info, copies of the checks they paid on my behalf. Beverly Radiology Billing Department IGNORED THEM ALL and still is harassing me with a new bill every month. Usually, they would say we did not get anything; when Regal insists, they will find emails and ask to call again in 2-3weeks (happened today again 10/28/24 for 8th!!! time) Unfairness of the situation is making me physically sick (after many years of being Ok, i started to have anxiety and panic attacks again, i can't sleep, i even once ended up at the emergency room after another conversation with the Beverly Radiology Billing department people); it affected my emotional wellbeing. LAW: they violate their Contract with Regal (Knox-Keene health services plan Act) Agreement between Regal and Beverly Radiology (contracted provider) -"The patient to whom services were provided is not liable for any portion of the bill, except for co-pays, co-insurances and deductibles. Vendor Reimbursement represents payment in full. Do not balance bill members." It is not a huge amount of money what bothers, it's how they treat people practically stealing their money an easy way.
