I had a very pleasant experience here after dealing with Pro Health Advanced Imaging in BH. I want to acknowledge the front desk staff who were professional, charismatic and helpful each time I called and also on the day of my appointment. I asked a lot of questions and they kindly answered all of them and explained the difference between a closed MRI & open one. Also the pros and cons to their knowledge. I went for an X-ray and Brian the technician was extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable about imaging machines. Also after further conversation, he helped me discover that the MRI I did at a previously location was not correctly done, and it was not the full doctors order. This caused me a big headache for another reason to have to go back and deal with that horrible previous facility. Truly I wish I knew about Burbank MRI first. Highly recommend, and I hope everyone has a good experience like Me. Also .... They have a parking lot! read more

The location was nice and clean, the front desk was really helpful with booking and was welcoming the day of. There was almost no wait time especially if you fill out forms online. (If you are booking an open MRI specifically because of claustrophobia, you should know that while your body is uncovered on an open table, the machine requires your head have a cage-like mechanism suspended a few inches over your face and then your head is brought directly under the machine. For some people, that experience could be more anxiety-inducing than a normal MRI) The staff was mindful of claustrophobia and you can wave for help if you need out and they check on you halfway through. I went here to get an MRI because they offer a larger machine to those of us who are claustrophobic. The front staff was rude and it was as if I was interrupting them having a personal conversation when I checked in. They barely spoke to me. No 'hello how can I help you'...just a mumbled, 'what's your name?'. After checking in and waiting, I was called. I slowly walked to the door where I was to enter and get the exam. I said I am walking carefully because I took an Ativan to which I was told I was not able to be seen because I had pre-medicated. I was sent home. read more

I called their office to make an appt. They said they would call back 1-3 days later to schedule me. They called back THREE AND A HALF WEEKS later to schedule me. I got the MRI. They said it would take 1-3 days to get the results to my doctor. TWO WEEKS later, my doctor received the results. The technician was very friendly and professional. There is no reason it should take 3.5 weeks to make an appointment. read more

I had been trying to get an MRI for over a year being that I am super claustrophobic it was a challenge they had attempted 3 other times at different location and unsuccessful. I went last night and the front desk & technician were so friendly. My tech checked on me periodically and explained everything with details before I knew it it was over did not feel like I was in the MRI machine for an hour. The music was pleasant and they even allowed my husband to be there for support. A+++ facility would strongly recommend them. read more

I have severe generalized anxiety disorder. And the team here made me feel like I was going to go for a stroll on the beach! ‍ Brian assisted me in the phone. Spoke with my doctor's office and insurance several times. Got me in as soon as he could. I could tell he has so much empathy - it's pretty rare with service these days. The ladies at the office were amazing as well. Izamar is so sweet. And Mayra checked in on me several times while I was in the machine. Hands down best MRI facility. While parking can be challenging due to the many offices using the space, the staff are wonderful and really helpful in making sure the experience as painless as possible. I appreciated the fact that they tell you that the MRI room runs cold ahead of time (the machine needs to be kept at a certain temperature), but you are welcome to bring a blanket or layer up. I brought a blanket for my mom and it made the procedure run smooth. read more

I had an MRI on my knee then brought the cd to my orthopedic surgeon. My doctor said that in all his years this is by far the worst MRI he's ever seen. The image was blurry and unreadable. I spent $350 cash and feel I got ripped off. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Had to drive from Santa Clarita to have them put my MRI on a Cd that should've been done right. The so called office was very rude telling me my doctor doesn't know how to open the cd to view the MRI. When asked to let me see the MRI Oon the computer she said no because of HIPA laws. Asked how it's a HIPA violation swhen the MRI is mine she said trust me it's on the CD & I couldn't look at it. She then said she could take a picture of it & show me that the only thing she could do. Never apologized for the inconvenience or time take to come back down to get another CD. I never had an MRI before and I was quite nervous when I arrived. The technician was kind and often checked to see if I was comfortable. The experience was easy thanks to the relaxed atmosphere and professionalism. I hope I do not need another MRI, but if I do I will return to Burbank MRI. read more

Once I mentioned that I was planning on using insurance (for which their facility is in network), she tried to dissuade me from making an appointment (started by stating that the authorization would take a week and then somehow expanded to over two weeks during the conversation) unless i wanted to pay out of pocket. I went to Burbank Open MRI because it had gotten good ratings and I am claustrophobic. The older technician who was there told me to take off all my metal jewelry, which I did. The room was freezing cold with no blankets. I had to get my jacket. Then after about 10 minutes, the technician told me the jacket zipper and my bra strap was interfering with the machine, and he had to begin again after the bra strap and jacket were moved. He began the machine again. He never bothered to check back in to see how I was doing. After about 20 minutes, he came in and told me that the imaging was still not good because I should have taken off my bra. HELLO? ISN'T IT THE TECHNICIANS JOB TO GIVE ME PROPER INSTRUCTIONS? When I suggested he should have given me more clear instructions, he told me it was my fault that the MRI didn't turn out right. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PLACE? OBVIOUSLY, POOR MANAGEMENT AND TERRIBLE SERVICE PERSONNEL. DO NOT GO! read more

I came here last week for an MRI and I was impressed. I was extremely nervous about the entire process, but the technician did everything to make me as comfortable as possible; he even gave me three blankets! I was concerned about the noise, however, their ear plugs are probably the best I've used. He knew I was nervous, so he was checking in with me throughout the entire process. They gave me my images on a CD right after and I was emailed the report in less than a week (super convenient). Service was prompt, professional, and would absolutely recommend this place. Megan was extremely gentle and patient and put me at great ease as I was feeling anxious due to claustrophobia with restraints and limited spaces. I had a very bad experience here and though I don't have to pay for it - I'm now seeing that they billed my insurance almost as much as Cedars Sinai has in the past when this facility is like a dirty closet. The technician was so rude to me the whole time and not accommodating at all to the fact that I was in pain. She kept yelling at me to "not move" even when I wasn't moving at all and then just acted really frustrated walking back and forth between the machine and her desk huffing and puffing. I was in the machine for almost 2 hrs for just 2 scans. Anyone who has been in one of those machines knows how terrible that is. They also almost lost the data and didn't bother to call and tell me a) when it happened or b) when it was fixed to let me know that they indeed had my scans while I was waiting there terrified that I'd have to go through this whole ordeal again. Went here for an MRI after my accident. Mayra was honestly THE BEST!!! I've been to many imaging places for myself and with family members but this one tops it. I am a wussss when it comes to MRI's and machines like the MRI but Mayra was very patient and understanding and helped me finish the MRIs I needed as gently as possible. She stayed in the room with me because I am claustrophobic and was acting like I'm 2 years old. Regardless of my baby attitude she still was very patient and sweet. They're so nice here. Not always super fast so just plan accordingly. They take walk ins so whenever one of my doctors sends me for an X-Ray I head straight here. You can leave with a dvd of your results so there is no need to return as long as you give yourself a few extra minutes to wait for it. Some other reviews sound like they caught people on an off day, we all have them but I've been here half a dozen times now and never seen one personally. I'm not sure what more you can ask from a lab clinic. read more

I have had 3 MRIs and 2 sets of X-rays in others imaging centers and the diagnostics of all were inconclusive. I finally got an MRI and X-rays done here and they had the best machines (open mri) since I am claustrophobic and the results were finally accurately read and I can finally find a way to get proper treatment. The staff was super friendly and helpful in making me a last minute appointment and they have specials for cash patients incase ur insurance doesn't cover. Highly recommended! read more
