If you love the combination of flavor, chew, and crunch, I got a place you must check out! Bevi Birra serves up some amazing focaccia sandwiches which are made with 100% sourdough and cold-fermented for 24 hours to achieve the perfect texture. I went with the GIOVANNA (garlic ricotta, hot sopressata, pepperoncino piccante (hot pepper spread), honey drizzle, and arugula) which had quite the kick with a subtle sweetness; as well as the ITALIA (sundried tomato spread, prosciutto crudo, fior di latte, olive tapenade, and arugula) for a more simple, yet still equally delicious profile. I'll be coming back for more in the future. All sandwiches are $13, plus no tax! They also have an impressive collection of alcoholic beverages (as well as nonalcoholic ones)! Service was really friendly. I got asked if it was my first visit and since it was, got invited to join their rewards program towards free items (they just require your name and email). The size of the place is cozy, with a classy and minimalistic aesthetic. I love the long wooden bench and tables! I've attached a photo of their menu with this review, but it is also outlined on their website (where you can browse their beer offerings as well).

I tired Bevi Birra located in the junction on Dundas, and it was a great first experience. It's a really cute quaint spot that also serves refrigerated drinks (wine, ciders, spirits) and draft beer from halo brewery! I tried the angelina which was turkey, garlic ricotta, sundried tomato and balsamic. I really enjoyed it, i just didn't know if it was supposed to be served warmed or cold. If there was an option for a warm focaccia sandwich I would pick that next time for sure! Otherwise it's such a cute spot in the junction for lunch!

Salad smelled amazing and was a decent portion

I met a friend here to check the place out for lunch. The food was fresh. Homemade. And delicious! I had the Grosso sandwich which was served in a fresh sourdough focaccia bread. It was so good. My friend had one of their salads. Looked and smelled amazing. Good food. Good service. Good atmosphere. I will absolutely be back! They are starting to do pizza at night which I plan on trying very soon.

Are you a hobby brewer? An aspiring hobby brewer? Operating a brewery? Do you just like the smell…read moreof grains? You should probably be checking out Toronto Brewing. If you don't have a car, the location is absolutely super inconvenient. It's not as far as Manitoba, and the TTC does service the area. As a carshare user I plan my trips to the shop around my vehicle usage. If you own a car or have regular access to one then it's obviously no big deal. If you're going to buy equipment you'll need a vehicle anyway. Alternatively, you can always order everything off their website and they offer a wide range of delivery options. Ultimately, the selection of grains to use in beer making, plus the wide variety of hops varietals and yeast strains offered more than make up for the industrial park location. The owners also offer workshops every few weeks that you can attend and learn more about brewing where you'll brew a batch together and sample some beers that others had already created. I've been brewing for 6-7 years to date and as far as supply shops go for this stuff, Toronto Brewing is one of the best. Most of the critical reviews I've read seem to be people with unrealistic expectations and/or just feel entitled. Here they offer all the equipment you could need (plus lots more you don't but might want anyway). They have an inventory of product so you can make things from scratch, or you can buy things in kit forms. Their staff is super super knowledgeable and easy going. If you have questions they'll have answers (or at least try). If you don't have questions, then experiment!

Currently I am in my 6th month waiting for order fulfillment. Original delay was 2 months, so we are officially 4 months behind schedule. This rating doesn't take into account the delay for my order - i think that is out of their control since it was a backorder item. The reason for my 1 star review is there has been zero communication up to this point from Toronto Brewing. I have reached out multiple times through every channel available to me trying to get an answer about the status of my order, reason for additional delays, anything. Up until today I have been completely in the dark for 6 months what these guys have done with the 2500 dollars I have given them. 2 months ago I was mad. At this point im starting to feel like im getting scammed. The only way I have managed to talk to someone is by phone (despite sending multiple emails they haven't replied to a single one yet) and ive gotten through multiple times by phone, but the conversation every time has been "Oh yes. Sorry I have no information for you, but we will contact you in X days and make sure this gets dealt with" Guess how many times they have called me back? 0 Today I called them repeatedly until they finally stayed on the phone with me to give me another "We will call you back with more info in 2 days" 15 days ago they said "We will call you back in 10 days" Guess they forgot again hey? I will honestly be stunned if I receive a call from them at this point. This is the 5th time they have given me an answer like this... they have returned my call 0 times. We could include the emails I've sent them too, I think 6 of those, to which they have replied... 0 times. I will be posting this review as many places as I can. Toronto brewing if you see this and reply - there is nothing you can do at this point to change my mind. I have extended multiple opportunities for you to stop this incompetence. You have failed. At this point if my order shows up with the right items I will be surprised. I just hope the agonising time sink of chasing this company around making sure they dont scam me will be over soon.

My fiancee and I snapped it up, correctly assuming that wine would make an awesome wedding favour. The Groupon was good for any VB location and while we typically use the Mississauga location(which, for the record, is totally awesome), logistics made the Brampton shop a better choice. Bad move. I'm pretty sure the manager saw our business as a huge inconvenience in his otherwise empty store. Poor fellow; we even did him the disservice of buying an additional $100 worth of his products. For shame! Dude was pretty annoyed that we were there giving him business and all, feeding his family and sending his kiddies to college and so on, so we finished up our bottling as quick as possible and got the hell out of Dodge. Who knows? Maybe he had a sweet game of WoW on pause in his office. He seemed pretty preoccupied. No matter, we got the message. The only spark of interest (I use the term generously) was when he inquired if we would like to come back at a later date and buy more wine. My brain hurt for a second, but we smiled a grim smile and pressed on out the door. Now listen here, kids. Vin Bon is a fine franchise. They sell a great product and all my dealings with them except this one have been amazing. Here's what you do. Get on your horse and ride a little farther afield to the Vin Bon in Mississauga, Toronto, Oakville, or pretty much anywhere else they do business. Leave this clown alone.

Place was quite busy when I stopped by on a random Saturday. I was intending on stopping by for a flight/pint, but the brewery was having an Oktoberfest event, so I just picked up a 4-pack/bottle from their bottle shop. There was a long line since Oktoberfest goers had to get their pours from the same line that I was in. Even though they were busy, the owner (??) did stop by and gave me a quick lowdown on each bottle/can that I picked up. A lot of them seemed to be sours which I do not like, so I'm glad that he told me! Fridge was quite SMALL and dark, adjacent to the bar, so the lighting wasn't the best. Listing of the items could've been more descriptive, eg. IPA, Sour, etc. And you can't buy individual cans, so I had to pickup a 4-pack. I picked up a bottle of Wax Poetic and although fruity, it was a sour. :( I really like True Believer which is an IPA! Although it looks big from the exterior, the bar/bottle shop area is quite small in comparison. I'd definitely stop by again on a regular day.

Short Finger Brewing is a homebrewing supply shop located in Kitchener. It's a bit tucked away on a side street but was pretty easy to find and has a pretty cool setup. They offer everything you could need to turn your kitchen into a beer brewing facility, including the actual brewing equipment including kettles, carboys, funnels, hosing, and everything else one would have to buy, in addition to all the grains, hops and yeasts needed from an ingredient perspective. I was really impressed with their actual walk in freezer used to store hops. So many selections to choose from, and I was also pretty pleased that I managed to find Galaxy hops in stock (sold out at both Toronto homebrew supply shops at the time). The staff are super friendly and willing to give recommendations (I'll be trying a new yeast out this weekend because of them), and they also do things to help the community like events including bottle swaps. As someone who is excited to see the Ontario homebrewing world get bigger, it's good to see a solid shop like this in K-town. While I'm not in the city often anymore, I'll still be making a point to stop in when possible.

The wines sort of sprawl diagonally from centre. The signage at least helps. The shelves are usually well stocked. There's an adequate amount of staff on the ground if you need any help. I've found the floor staff pretty knowledgeable about the characteristics and differences between various brands. I like that LCBO always has some good sales on a few products at any given time. I've been known to try new brands of liqueurs and wines when I see those tags promoting the sale items. They do have a cooler section if you head to the far end of the store. The selection of locked up, premium items isn't too extensive, but you will find several brain damage price vintages for extra special occasions. I find the displays at the checkouts a little wanting. They have nice boxes and bags that are behind the checkouts for some reason, rather than before where you can see and select something before you pay. It could all be organized better. The service is often... slow. Even if there are several checkouts open, and fewer customers than open lines, it takes minutes before you begin to get processed. I appreciate that they never fail to ask about your rewards cars. If slow, service is usually polite if not friendly. I'm glad to have a solid LCBO like this nearby for my boozing needs ;)
