Just ditched our full cart and left the store. They can't seem to manage their lines or register/ 3 employees working on one customer at a register while another takes his friend from the back of the line and rings her up. Went in to buy a large amount of alcohol for a party this weekend and I was hesitant to come here because they are always priced higher than other stores. I found out today that they price match which is amazing because they sell almost all the craft beers and a large variety of wines. It's a one stop shop for alcohol forsure. They also have discounts for blue members. Karen helped me out and she was very patient and helpful. The other employees helped me load my cart, super nice! I have ordered online and specialty items several times and on every occasion the item is out of stock, takes weeks later than expected, or I'm not notified when it arrives. Once I was notified the item had arrived, but when I came to pick it up the next day, I was told they couldn't find it or they had sold it. read more

This store losing it's two key managers, Allyson and Penny this store has lacked some real direction. When entering the store, employees look pissed off to be there, there is no sign of wanting to help, or even be there. The store is an utter mess, and chaotic with paper signs on the floor, and chaos blocking the registers. There is no identification on who the manager is now, nor does anyone whom works there feel there truly is a manager. I also cannot believe the slack on failure to check ID's. Marina failed to ask me for my ID, I offered on my own, she half heartily looked at my picture, as I was covering my age and then typed some random numbers in on the keypad. Also, I have had a more recent trip since this visit, and Gerarado was the only person in the entire store whom even acknowledged my existence, let alone help me. I believe the store manager was even there. But, he was more interested in gloating about his new line idea and the paper signs on the ground, than acknowledging his customers. I am surprised that the District Manager has allowed the store to continue in this direction. I will give them two stars, however, for normally always having what I want. read more

Okay. I'm a bit surprised I'm the FTR at this establishment too because like Cold Stone, this place has been around for some time now. Although I do have my own BevMo Rewards card, Lovie seems to frequent this place more often than I do. And when he does, I'm just tagging along. This time around, we wanted to get our friend Vinny a bottle of Grey Goose. Loves got it, but I ended up locking it in my car for the night. Que suerte (What luck)! Oh wells. We were in the area and wanted to pick up a bottle of wine to enjoy with dinner that night. I also wanted to pick up a deli item to snack on during the car ride home but my plan was thwarted when I discovered that this BevMo doesn't have a deli. So they don't have a deli but they do have a snack section with a decent selection of mostly beer friendly, salty eats. We picked up two bottles of wine (5¢ sale!) and a bag of snack mix and were on our way. read more

I never write reviews but I had to write a review for Carlos. My mom and I set out on the daunting task of picking out the wines for my upcoming wedding. I love wine and know if I like something or don't, but am really pretty clueless when it comes to picking wine for events. With so many choices, we had no idea where to even start. We asked if there was someone who could help us and that's where Carlos stepped in. Carlos was not only passionate about wine, but extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He spent an hour with us getting to know our likes/dislikes/tastes, explaining the different wines, and suggesting his top few choices in the wines we wanted. He suggested we take them home and try them. Thankfully, we quickly found a red and white we loved. We returned the following week to purchase our wine and Carlos was right there ready to help. We quickly and easily ordered all of our wine and were told we'd hear from him once the expected date of delivery was available. As soon as the wine arrived, he called me to let me know and even helped load it into my car. He was there every step of the way with a smile. Nowadays, it's rare to come across superb customer service, but Carlos exceeded the mark. Genuine, kind, knowledgeable and passionate about his job. I was told by one of the staff that they can price match Costco price. Hibiki was $58.99 at Costco and $69.99 at this BevMo location. The cashier called the manager with an ugly ass mustache and said that they don't price match. The gentleman that said he did and the cashier was in an awe. I had my wife and year old baby who was sleepy so I didn't make a big deal of it. If you pick and choose your customers who you would honor price matches with... I find myself questioning your managers credibility. It's certainly a great way to lose a customer. read more

I got my Glenlivet 12 here just in time for Christmas. Everyone is happy by nights end. The selection of beer, wine, and spirits is just staggering. The store is neatly organized. It is great to have BevMo in Brentwood. Next time, maybe I can pony up for a McCallan 12, 15 perhaps? read more

For some reason this location seems smaller than others. However the disgruntled employees made up for it. It was actually kinda funny, well maybe it was funny because another customer and I made fun of them for complaining about actually having jobs and having to do work. Back to the review: Brian, the guy who helped me, was awesome. Here's how it went down: Me: Do you have any Saison Du Buff in back, you guys are out on the shelves. Him: Actually you're in luck we have four left in back that a customer was holding but no longer needs. Me: (after hemming and hawing) I'll take all of them. After getting them for me, he spends some time going over their other craft beers and which I should also try since he had keyed into what I like. I have decided this might be the best Bevmo ever in terms of craft beer selection. At check out the cashier notes that I am cleaning out their Saison selection too. I'm starting to wonder if they were hiding it for themselves. If so, extra thanks for them giving up their secret stash for me. 5 stars for the cashier, their craft beers, and Brian for being so helpful and knowledgeable. Minus 1 for the employees complaining about having to actually work in front of customers. read more

This is the WORST place I've been to since lockdown. A store own the street is less than half the size and allows 8 customers at a time. The web site wouldn't let me place my order unless I paid for delivery. After standing in a line outside for 45 minutes they retrieved my items and let 1 person in, me, to pay. They also did not have 1 of the items requested. I WILL SHOP ANYWHERE THAN THIS STORE. read more

Three or four stars? I decided to be generous. The thing is BevMo is BevMo. Do not go there looking for bargains. Do not expect to be stolen blind either. What they do have is a great variety of wines and beers. Maybe liquors also, I cannot judge. To wine lovers I would say explore Trader Joe's first. For beer, here first. I must say this is the worst experience I have had at this Bevmo location. It seemed like a chore for them to open one of the cabinets so I could purchase a couple bottles of vodka that was in there for some reason and the cashier told me they didn't have a bag for one of my larger bottles but had sleeves for the smaller bottles. No bag to carry the bottles.......................I guess you are on your own now a days. I was there a few months ago and did not have this problem. I guess I will continue most of my purchases at Total Wine in Pleasant Hill. Not a good experience at Bevmo in Antioch. read more

Don't order online from them. You think your order is ready but when you check in they walk around and grab it. When delivery services show up they get first priority even though the line is around the corner. MAKE SURE you check your emailed receipt because they will charge you for something you didn't receive. They'll say you won't be charged but when you get the email that will come an hour later the charge will be on there. Happen to me twice even though both times they said it won't be on there. Then you have to come back to there store to get a refund. They can't do it online. Just go to the grocery store less of a head ache. read more

What can I say about this place? BOOZE! lots and lots of it. They are light on the Mescal's but have a great selection. Prices are good. Get the BevMo card to save a little more. Employees are enthusiastic and friendly. read more

Cant go wrong with this BevMo location. Always fully stocked and always clean. The only down side to having a fully stocked store is that it seems the staff are always stocking and not really helping customers out. I always get the vibe that none of the staff ever drink wine or spirits just for the sake that they always ask me if ive tried this or that BEER. They never really promote kegs thou. and I didnt even know they sold cigars. None the less its good, get the bevmo card and save. -1 star because Ive never seen or heard them offer to help someone out to there car. read more

Completely rude and I suspect racist "toward African Americans". I went in to make a purchase the guy in front of me had a problem with the card reader they called the store manager on his cell phone. I get rung up on a different register select "credit" and it tells me to enter my pin. I ask them if they need to enter the card themselves the cashier says she can't. So I ask for the manager. She then proceeds to tell me I can only use a debit card for a debit that nobody can use it as credit. Utter BS my response was if I couldn't use it as credit it would have the MasterCard/visa logo on it. At this point I know I'm being messed with. I am following up with a complaint to corporate. I would only advised shipping her if your a nationality other than African American! read more

Not bad. I went in today and expected selection to be short because of the Memorial Day Weekend but I was pleasantly surprised to find the shelves full and also to find that the store management had apparently seen fit to up staff the store which was a nice touch considering the level of business. Normally this store seems to be short on staff. All in all a pretty good showing of staying stocked and providing good service. My only complaint is pricing, even when items are discounted they are still priced higher than any other store which is why I took one star. For a lot of items it makes sense to buy at other retailers but for a wider variety of items not typically stocked at other places you can't beat BevMo. read more

I guess I made a big mistake letting my oldest son talk me into coming here on Christmas Eve at 6 p.m... Because the place was just incredibly packed with people grabbing last-minute gifts. I'm not a wine drinker so it's hard for me to determine what is good and what is not so good as you can get cheap wine that taste great or expensive wine that doesn't taste great... From what I hear from others that do drink. This place has prices all over the place and depending on who you ask you'll get a different answer from each one of them so I would suggest whichever bottle has the coolest label and is fairly decently priced... Always dig going to BevMo! They have a great selection of micro brews, wines and spirits, plus I like the fact that I can get some snacks to go with the booze all in one location. I have also found some great clearance bargain's in this location and I try to check back each month to see what made it to the shelf. read more

WOW! what a selection of drinks! pretty much anything I could think of, they had! good service also, both of the guys that helped out knew their stuff and also recommended other selections that they thought I might like. They have a huge selection of wines. When I came in they had a special of buy one, get the second bottle for only 5 cents. However, this offer only applies to selected bottles and not all (wine only). It also requires for you to have a bevmo card, which is fine, because its free and you can sign up right at the register.
