I'm visiting my sister and we decided to have a spa day at Beyond Beaute. What a wonderful place to go. Everyone here provided beyond excellent customer service and were so warm and hospitable. At first, I was a bit doubtful about this place as they didn't have changing rooms and lockers. Instead they offered a paper bag with a robe, smock (for your facial) and no skid socks. You could either use the bathroom to change or wait until you were in your treatment room to undress, and then have the robe for afterward. I was shown to their waiting room, where they offered a warmed neck wrap and an option of a drink: water, tea, mimosa or wine were the ones I remember. They created a relaxing environment with waterfalls on the wall, warm blankets for that cozy factor and comfortable seating. We had a full day, starting with a massage, then a facial. They offered a lunch brought into the relaxation room and we finished with a mani/pedi. All of these treatments were 5-star treatments, and I really want to give a shout out to Kendall, my esthetician. She offered such a wonderful pampering session! But my sister was also very impressed with all her services, so we believe this place has something special happening to have so many talented people. I definitely recommend this spa!! read more

If you have ever gone to the nail salons in the shopping strips you probably know what I mean when I say I hate feeling like I was their first client. There is nothing worse than having your nails done, and having your cuticles cut by someone that doesn't know what they are doing. Ouch!! I'm a long time customer, have been from the beginning 38 years ago! Moving to Galveston has made it harder to go regularly but it was a fabulous visit today. Nicole helped me schedule over the phone, I used my Wellness Spa gift card for part of the balance and was able to redeem my birthday discount as well. Lydia has a light touch and my skin was absolutely glowing afterwards. Even the deep wrinkles, I mean, wise-cracks, disappeared into soft hydrated skin with the grape seed extract facial. I woke myself up snoring! The blood orange mimosa before and lemon water after were an extra bonus. Lots of lotions and potions and jewelry in the gift shop. You're not hurried out and encouraged to relax in the waterfall area. Serenity and relaxation for a few minutes out of the day. read more

Firstly they need to have a receptionist who treats people with respect. Secondly the service provider should not talk their personal problems and asking people their personal information during their treatment. A persons comes here to have some ME time and relax . The treatment here is not cheap. read more

As a man and a first-time visitor to this establishment, I was a bit apprehensive going to get a pedicure. But after being greeted by the front desk receptionist, I was put at ease and taken to a waiting area where I was offered a selection of liquid libation. I selected water to start yet even the water contained fresh lemons and assisted in easing my introduction to the spa. I was met by a very nice nail tech who would be providing my service that day. (Note: Ask for Kelly, she is amazing.) I was taken back into the area where the pedicure was to be performed and to make a long story short, it was was quite a comfortable experience. I later switched from water to mimosas (excellent), the chair reclined and I was so comfortable during the whole process I almost ended up napping. That was a first. At the end of the service, I stopped at the front desk and made an appointment for the following month. I realize men are starting to realize the benefits of a pedicure and I was the only man there at the time but the entire process from start to finish was smooth, pleasant and professional.
