They told me "biting is common" and they would do anything they can to stop the issue. Anyway, I picked up my daughter up 3 times in 1 month with bite marks. They said they called the child's parents to pick him up but they removed my child from her classroom 5 instead of the child with behavior issues. A lot of children in this daycare are dcs cases so a lot of them have behavioral issues, they told me they mix special needs children with the regular classes and the children cannot tell. They said they don't offer special teachers to be assigned to certain children. No concern for my children's safety was shown here, so I was forced to remove them before my transfer was done. Now I'm out of a job and don't have childcare either. This biting issue could've been very simply fixed but was not.

So on December 3 at drop off, I asked the teacher Kristen King if he had been crying a lot the day before. She stated "No, I don't think he had been crying a lot." When it didn't make sense for her, not to know if she was the only teacher in the classroom that day. I asked her one more time to confirm her answer and she said again that "She didn't think he cried too much just when he needed a bottle or was tired." So I let it go and I left. As the day goes on, I get a few updates on the app that they promise to update thoroughly but they aren't logging. What type of milk was consumed or how many ounces. They're claiming that he did nap but they didn't log it but to me it looks like he was up for four hours when we arrived to pick him up at 4:45 pm. When we go to pick him up my husband noticed a large scratch on his head. He's gonna ask the teacher that was in there at the moment named Traci, What happened to our son's head? She then replied "I don't know no one hurt him. He must have come in with that." My husband then stated no he did not come in with that. Please note they uploaded a photo on the app that I will attach at 1:55 PM and the scratch was not there. The teacher only stated that she did not know what happened to him. Then, when we got back home, I noticed my son's voice was completely gone which leads me To believe that they let him cry even more on end. His eyes were super puffy as if he had been crying all day long. Other side notes: His last bottle logged was at nearly FOUR hours after he has eaten. He eats every 2 hours. I didn't end up speaking to the director who continuously put me on hold to go talk with the teacher herself, instead of letting me talk with the teacher myself. She was suggesting that there may be something sharp in the carpet, which I then stated that that could be a possibility, especially since Kristen King does not make Parents put on the shoe booties at drop off. She says it's fine. Come on in when my infant is crawling around on the floor and putting his face on the ground. The director inspected the carpet and vacuumed and said nothing came up in the carpet. She stated that they would do better about posting on the app. She still has no answers as to what happened to my son.
