STAY WAY. PAID TO DO NOTHING. PLEASE READ. The owner of the store frequently argues with customers over nothing. Also failed to notify me twice that they kept the parts to my computer without me knowing. One was brand new RAM and the other was the power cord I gave them to use on my PC. Attached is the messages exchanged on text following my request for it back. (More details in last paragraph). I came in after requesting that they do a BIOS update on my computer because I didn't have time to do it that week and needed it ASAP. Was willing to pay ridiculous price because what was happening in my life. It's a simple task but they ended up blaming the issue on my BRAND NEW out of the box CPU and gave it back to me. (BIOS update is still possible btw even if that was the case). Charged me $100 just to not fix anything or do what was agreed upon, on top of leaving my PC in a MESS. CPU cooler wasn't screwed on and smashed around the case as I walked out. The following messages are from a few days after the appointment I had with them. At this point I was getting ready to set up the pc and fix it myself then realized the cord was missing. After I told him I needed my cord back I called him a second time and he says "You left it here" right before picking up. On the phone he pretends like he doesn't see anything laying around and says I never left anything there despite just telling me I left it, through text, 2 seconds before picking up. At this point I had already driven down there twice. First time to get my pc, the second to take back my RAM. In the text you can literally see how he's trying to deny that he confirmed it was there, despite highlighting his text TWICE. Went there and got some cheap plastic cord. The owner had the audacity at that point to say "that's what they left." I just walked out. Looked up the brand and it was a knock off Amazon one. Look through the messages guys, it's at the very least evidence that there is no accountability here. I have nothing to gain from this review, just want to warn potential customers and save y'all money. read more

It's been awhile since my experience with this shop but I recently got back into writing reviews and saw my messages with them from last year so I was reminded. I went to see them on 6/1/2021. I brought my Mac book air to them because it was running slow when I was on the internet. I had run a virus check on it but it came back negative so I had no idea what was wrong. I don't know much about computers so I knew I could easily get hustled. Come to find out my computer is just old, it's from 2012 and no matter what you do it's not going to run much faster (after having my bad experience I went to the Apple Store to ask questions). Orli & Son's took hours longer than they'd originally quoted me and then didn't even communicate with me on the status of them checking out my computer even though I'd dropped it off early. I had to keep contacting THEM for an update...it was getting close to their closing time and they STILL hadn't finished with my computer. I needed my computer for college. I had originally chosen them because of the time frame they told me they had available when I first called and then when I dropped it off they said it would only be a couple hours. It was the son that was at the actual shop and the father I spoke to on the phone or was texting. After checking my computer Orli said there wasn't anything wrong with it but recommended replacing the hard drive....even though there isn't anything wrong with it just to see if it helped which wouldn't be worth it cost wise (I found out later). He could've just told me the computer didn't have anything wrong with it and to just use a different browser since supposedly when he was messing with it most of the internet browsers ran fine and bring it back if it starts acting up again. I ended up trusting my gut and just paying the diagnostics fee and taking my computer back. I don't know...I just felt weird like I was given the run around or was being taken advantage of all while not being communicated with. Definitely do not recommend due to the trust not being there and the lack of communication especially when you're entrusting your personal property with them. read more

I had run into issues after an update prevented it from booting. Before during a clean install of Windows 10 Pro, I wanted another set of eyes on the issues. Went in during regular business hours and the door was locked. Called the phone number provided and a man said that his son is probably sleep and he will call to wake him up. Sleep???? The man then follows up with a text telling me to wait in the parking lot for 25 minutes for his lazy son to wake up to deal with a potential customer. Will never get a penny out of me read more

Oril is very nice and knows his stuff. He diagnosed an issue on an old PC I have and gave me a workaround so I could keep using it even though we could not find replacement parts. He did not want to charge me for his time spent on it because he felt he hadn't actually fixed it. I love that attitude and work ethic. I made sure I paid at least a little something for his time. I am now a loyal customer and will bring any other work I need to him and will not hesitate to recommend him to my friends. read more

I have used the services of Orli and Sons for quite sometime. I recently had them rebuild my computer which only took them about a day and half to complete the work!!! When you arrive at their place of business you are escorted to their work area and given a comfortable chair and offered a beverage as they examine your equipment. A courtesy unknown in today's workplace.....but deeply appreciated. Due to our handicaps they also carried our equipment to our car!!!!! What Class!!!!! Along with their respect for their customers they also provide you the opportunity to send texts about issues you may be experiencing with your equipment. They respond just as soon as it is convenient for them....Never have they not responded!!!! I just had a really great experience with Orli and Sons! I was having a concern with some seemingly corrupt programs on my new laptop. After attempting to troubleshoot at home, I was afraid that it would be beyond my expertise. Went in to see Orli and he was such a nice guy! Made me feel totally comfortable and at home, walking him through the issues I was having. It turned out to be a pretty simple fix, that we worked on together, and at no charge! I love being able to understand what is being done in case it happens again, but I'm always afraid to talk about that with the repair techs since that's how they make money.
