This place is absolutely great. A few days ago, my PC wouldn't start up... crisis! Since I had never before had a computer problem I couldn't "fix" I had no idea where to take it. I checked a few on-line reviews and made the short trip to PC HELP. Tom immediately made me feel confident I had come to the right place. WOW! These guys are awesome. I had a couple issues with my laptop and was given an amazing price to start with (fixing my charging power adaptor, was quoted hundreds more elsewhere). When there was an issue during the repair process, the team was entirely honest about what was going on with my computer and offered to replace mine given the circumstances. They were so kind and reasonable and have so much integrity. I feel like honesty is really hard to find at major corporations and some of the bigger PC repair stores out there, so when I went through this with them, I knew I had found a very special small business. I had the screen of my computer break at the hinge because someone leaned their seat too far back. I called around a few places to see how much it would cost, and I was told "$75 to evaluate plus labor and parts which we can't really tell you without looking at it," "$99 to evaluate plus labor and parts but we take off the evaluation fee if you stick with us," etc. Or from GeekSquad, 4-6 weeks. Then I called PC Help who told me $49 to evaluate only if I didn't use them to fix my computer and then parts and labor. They were the only ones who were really straightforward with me, so even though they were located a little farther away, I went with PC Help. They looked at my computer when I brought it in and estimated how much it could cost before they took it to the back room for further evaluation, and I walked out with a ballpark figure on the cost. They called me a few days later to pick up my fixed computer and it looks new. The guys here really took care of my computer, were very straightforward, and super friendly. If I need computer services again, I will definitely be coming here. read more

my drive was tanking. thought i'd lost the lot. i was given new drive or new laptop options and shown the best and most intelligent path was to forget the bandaid. the patient would be, at best, on life support for a time. i was offered a refurb machine at a great price and my data was recovered and transferred. i was well advised and exceptionally well taken care of! trust these guys... they've earned it and they will work to make you happy with the result! read more

We had a horribly old laptop from (2013ish) that we wanted the pictures off of but lost the cable for it, and it had just been floating around and moving with us from place to place. Thanks to Tom and Brian at PC Help for all their hard work in repairing my laptop. My computer was running at a snails pace when I took it in even though it is only a few years old. Instead of wasting the money on buying a new one Tom recommended to replace the hard drive with a solid state drive and to clone my old one so that I wouldn't lose my data and programs. We took our laptop on to have pop ups removed. Several weeks later the pop ups returned. We called and they said they would warranty the work . I took the laptop back and and a young man wa very dismisdivecand told me that the popupscwere from Microsoft and I would have to delete them each time. I left very unhappy over the lack of warranty service. I then filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau and the business responded with untrue information trying to say they did help. Do not use this business there us no warranty the services you pay for and they are not honest read more

Brian was SUCH a pleasure to work with! He was kind, professional, and most importantly, knowledgeable. When my MacBook Pro started freezing, I was initially going to take it to the Apple store to get it looked at. My dad highly recommended PC Help, specifically Brian at this location, so I figured I would give it a try. I was blown away by the service, to say the least. The Apple store near me got a "makeover," which has resulted in extremely long wait times and subpar service. At PC Help, I was helped (ha ha) right away. Best of all, the store was small and uncrowded. The Apple store seriously makes me feel like I'm drowning in a sea of people. I had called Brian before going to the store because I wasn't sure if he repaired Macs. On the phone, he immediately told me what he thought could be wrong with my laptop and said that he'd run a diagnostic check after I dropped my laptop off at the store. The diagnostic check had initially come back showing an operating system failure, but after my computer continued to act up, Brian ran another check. Turns out that the logic board had failed (hopefully I worded that correctly). It was smart of him to run another check, and honestly, I'm not sure that other people would've done that. The logic board was expensive to replace (because Mac parts are very expensive), so Brian recommended buying another used laptop. That showed me two things: 1) He was knowledgeable about computer parts and how costly they are and 2) He didn't push me for a sale. I can almost guarantee that had I gone to the Apple store, I would've been pushed to either get the repair done or to buy one of their new laptops, which are out of my budget. How do I know that? Because it's happened to me before. Don't get me wrong: I don't hate the Apple store. They've been very helpful before and even replaced my phone for free after the Touch ID was damaged while they were replacing the battery. I mean, yeah, they were the ones that damaged my phone in the first place, but at least they replaced it. But, you just can't beat the service and speed of PC Help. Brian didn't even make me pay for the service. He said that I could put the diagnostic fee money towards buying a new laptop. I mean, that's literally the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me. He didn't have to do that. I am so impressed by his generosity, thoughtfulness, and kindness. I will definitely continue going to PC Help for all of my electronic needs and questions. I was having webcam issues and I needed my camera for online classes. When they went into fix the camera a previous computer technician had caused a lot of damage to the computer and it caused a great many issues. Despite them having to order a lot of extra parts including another motherboard and some other hardware they stuck to their quoted price and would not accept extra payment even though we offered. They kept me informed every step of the way and explained the various issues that arose. I chose to work with them on this repair because I previously needed a repair on my laptop and they informed me it was still under warranty before doing work on it. Great place if you need help with any kind of computer issue. We have had these friendly guys help us a number of times. I bought a refurbished laptop for using in my truck when I'm out of my office a while back. Great price for a good machine. It did everything I needed until I dropped it and broke the screen. They were able to get it fixed up good as new. They had to order the part which took a couple of days but since it was still usable I paid for the part and kept using it until the new screen came in. Once the screen arrived I dropped it off and when to lunch and they had it ready to go when i stopped back by afterward. Their charge for such great service was only $75 plus the $75 I paid for the new screen. Highly recommend these guys for anyone and everyone! read more

In my experience, computer repair falls into the same niche as auto repair: when you FINALLY find an honest one, you'll never take your vehicle anywhere else... I was not originally aware that they had multiple locations, as the shop I visited in Hurst seemed very unimposing and tucked away by itself in a large Hurst shopping center. To make this short and to the point, I've grown accustomed to being bullied into paying more than I rightfully should for computer services thanks to the crooks in the industry, Geek Squad and Frys being at the top of the blacklist.... I'll make this simple: anywhere else in the area, and you'll be paying MORE money for LESS quality work and be without your computer longer despite paying more.... I would preach on and on about how impressed I was with the value, but these guys also seem to have the fastest turnaround time for repairs in the area. I'm so glad I discovered this little gem - ....Seemingly operated by the highest of professional standards, yet their pricing can compete even with the little hole-in-the-wall mom and pop computer operations. Went here to get my computer fixed initially for a hard drive issue. In the beginning Shawn who works at the Euless-Bedford location was friendly and was able to correct the issue. After using my computer one time, another issue came up that I hadn't had a problem with until bringing it home. I took it back to PC-Help and Shawn was so rude and snappy! He wanted to charge more for an issue he probably created (that's how they get you)! Please consider other options for getting your devices fixed. He will be friendly the first visit but if you go back for another issue HE created he will be dismissive towards you. I took my wife's iPad to PC Help because our son dropped it and damaged the screen. I saw a movable billboard in front of PC Help on Harwood which advertised iPad screen repair (As well as iPhone screen repair). I took the device in on Friday, July 06, 2012 and was informed the repair would take about 3 to 4 days. You can imagine my shock when they called me Saturday afternoon (Yes, the next day!) saying the screen repair was completed! My wife went over on Monday morning (They are closed on Sunday) to pick up the device and we are as impressed as ever by the repair! The device looks brand new! The company I work for has used PC Help for a while. I'm the one who usually deals with their staff, and each and every time I speak with anyone there they have always been delightful to work with. It helps if you are a small business and do not have the money, resources, and/or time to hire your own IT team; PC Help is the way to go. They are fairly reasonable and they have great customer service. For personal services, I would still recommend PC Help for your computer needs. It might seem a little costly, but being married to a computer tech myself I see the kind of work that goes into replacing a hard drive, fixing a registry, or running a virus scan and it can be very time consuming. Their prices may not be cheap if you are wanting your personal computer or laptop fixed, but they are reasonable and their service is outstanding. Keep in mind, cheap service isn't always good and good service isn't always cheap. read more

Brought in a laptop with a cracked touchscreen. They gave me a couple of options to repair it. There was a problem when they put it back together and the hard drive didn't work. I wasn't happy as now I thought I would be out money for the screen and now more money for the drive. If I had known there was a chance of it needing more repairs, I would have likely not done any of it on a mid-range laptop and just bought a new one. So, that was an issue. We discussed the issue and they said they should have tested the drive before repairing the screen. But, then they impressed me with giving me an offer of returning the laptop to the original state (broken screen) and only charging me a diagnostic fee. I'd be out $30 instead of hundreds. I thought that was reasonable... much more reasonable than paying a couple of hundred dollars to have a new screen on a broken laptop or throwing more money into an old laptop when I could just buy new. But then they really impressed me. Since they said they should have tested the drive before trying the screen repair, they went ahead and gave me a replacement hard drive... at no charge. They went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with their service. There was an issue, and they made it right. Highly recommend. read more
