They embarrassed me by serving our appetizers on paper plates at a formal wedding !! No waitstaff to fill water glasses at dinner. Good was tasteless and cold. Looking for a caterer look elsewhere.!! Suspect or not? You decide... I'm truly disappointed writing this review. Beyond Details came with the highest regards and we genuinely tried to lock in this catering company. Upon introductions, Kate and I established commonality being Penn State alums. My fiancé and I were so excited to go through the catering menu. After reviewing the menu, following the all-inclusive guidelines, we provided our list and requested a quote. Upon receipt there were several questions we had related to menu, options, costs, and so on. Anyone planning a wedding for the first time can sympathize with the overwhelming amount of planning, costs, and general questions. This is where things get very strange. When asking for clarifying questions on the cost Kate informed us they are not the best fit for the job. Kate further acknowledges how the prices are misleading and after multiple opportunities to clarify chose to withdraw. If money is no object, details don't matter, and you don't care to ask any questions then I would tell you go with Beyond Details. They come highly recommended. If you have any questions then I would proceed with caution. read more

I had Beyond Details cater my son's wedding on May 3rd. I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I was in the quality of the food and the lack of waitstaff for this wedding. Paper plates were given to our guests to use at a biscuit bar because they did not have appropriate plates to serve our guests. This is a semi formal wedding and guests were walking around carrying flimsy paper plates barely strong enough to hold the biscuit and toppings. Let's get to the food, it was just awful!! The food was served dry and cold. The potatoes were ice cold, vegetables were tasteless and cold, and the Chicken Marsala was dry and tasteless also. The chefs need to know how to make an authentic Chicken marsala dish. Certainly, a fast-food restaurant could have made a better chicken entree. Beyond Details came with a five-star rating and I would have hoped I would have received five-star quality food and service after paying thousands of dollars for this meal; I certainly did not!!!!! I could go on about how horrible this meal was (read my google review for details) for myself and my guests. I am still embarrassed by it; this was the one of the worst meals I have had a wedding. Look elsewhere if you want to have a cater who specializes in elegance and quality food because Beyond Details is Beyond Terrible!!!!!! I would give this cater zero stars. read more

Beyond Details did the flowers and food for my wedding at Travellers Rest in Nashville in spring of this year. And I couldn't have been happier with the flowers or the food. Everything was stunning. They really took my wild and crazy and scattered ideas and realized them into exactly what I had imagined (maybe even better?)! They were so communicative and friendly and just generally wonderful. She helped make all my dreams come true, from the specific off menu items I requested, to scheduling meetings, countless proposal revisions, and more - Beyond Details was a dream to work with. Beyond Details has never been late or missed delivering lunch. They made it up our hill in a snowstorm to make sure our attendees are fed and happy. I do not have enough positive things to say about Brandy and Amber at Beyond Details. Every time I called or emailed, I was answered almost immediately. They catered my 200 guest wedding and everything was executed extremely well and with love. The servers, bartenders, and other staff helping were professional and exactly what you would want for a wedding. There was attention to detail with the set up of the buffet and the set up and take down was non-disruptive. Oh, and not to mention the food was delicious!
