Big movements like hanging, climbing, crawling, jumping, balancing, squatting, and running are broken down into parts that we master, focusing on form at every stage. I'm seeing how all these movements can (and should) be used every day in our daily lives, and because of this, I find myself practicing at home all the time in ways I never would have considered before. I am stronger and healthier every week, and I am discovering that I can move in ways I never was able to before. I can do monkey bars and climb trees now with my kids, do pull ups, sit on the floor for extended periods of time, lift large objects correctly, and go for runs- all things that were unthinkable last year. I also really love the small group setting of the classes and the individual attention you receive. Each participant works with a program that is tailored to their specific needs. It is very noncompetitive and supportive- kind of the antidote to CrossFit!
